nothing really! If i were to say anything it would be the interface isnt exciting or color. It's just a white background, it could be more colorful and fun

SetSail has no disadvantages. It's easy to use, easy to teach! There are many fun ideas that can be implemented with SetSail. Additionally, it's easy to integrate with daily activities.

It's great when it comes to motivating you to hit your numbers and bring meetings to the table. The cash rewards every week are awesome when you are at the top of the leaderboard.

**What do you dislike about SetSail?**

Nothing really comes to mind. It took awhile for me to get my account fixed, but the issue may have been on my end.

**What problems is SetSail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's motivating to see the cash rewards when it comes to performing sales BDR day to day tasks. The extra cash rewards are a big plus. Also, being able to see how you compare to your teammates is a great plus.

**What do you like best about SetSail?**

As an AE SetSail helps me keep the focus on my progress for the metrics my sales management team is looking for on a weekly basis which creates a sense of alignment in the team.   I would also add that when making deals in SFDC it helps populate the contacts in the deal, saving me a fair amount of time.

**What do you dislike about SetSail?**

For what I use it for there isn't really much to critique as I don't set the integrations or the metrics on how the metrics are measured and the contest are won so for me its a pretty straight forward interface.

**What problems is SetSail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping keep track of the metrics that sales management is watching and helps me to track those as well so we have good alignment in actions and goals.

**What do you like best about SetSail?**

SetSail has helped us incentivize the right sales motions for our sales team, allowing us to drive awareness around what actions are most important for them to take in their role. Their contests enable us to be nimble - we can do quarterly, monthly, or weekly contests and adjust points values to optimize our sales strategy. The contest leaderboards have made it very easy as Managers to get a snapshot into the volume of activity, see who is excelling, and leverage that intel toward sales coaching. In addition, the account management team that supported our launch has been fantastic.

**What do you dislike about SetSail?**

The product could use more self-service customization. I want to adjust point values myself, change the color coding of specific signals so it's visually easier to track, and have the flexibility to save views. Changes have to go through the account management team.

**What problems is SetSail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Change management. We're regularly introducing new sales motions, products, or activities that we want our sales team to focus on. SetSail has helped drive awareness of the most critical actions and change actual change rep behavior. This alleviates the work needed by Managers to help instill this change, and instead, they can focus more on sales coaching or driving segment growth strategies.

Set sail gives teams a sense of competition and visibility on KPIs that are harder to track on a large scale with our individual sales tools. I like that it allows us to push each other to succeed.

**What do you dislike about SetSail?**

Although I am sure some things need to be configured better on the client's end, I have found that the tracking of statistics for KPIs is not always accurate and tracked well.

Currently, we use set sail to create competitions within our sales team based on KPIs and in turn, award a winner at the end of the month. I find that it helps us push each other to be better.

**What do you like best about SetSail?**

I'm a big fan of being able to look at how my peers are doing! It keeps you accountable weekly, and in low-energy moments, it's like having that gym buddy alongside you. If they can do it, I can do it! Helping us create a culture of success and excellent.

**What do you dislike about SetSail?**

I wish there were a feature or chrome widget that could suggest what you could do to improve your metrics, clever little tips or comparisons with your peers to get the best out of you week to week. It would also be great to see or get a heads up on the things you are doing well without having to drill into the data set.

**What problems is SetSail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping us solve the issue around accountability without having to be micro manged; we can see how the team is performing and how you stack up, which keeps the engine turning to do the best you can.

**What do you like best about SetSail?**

I like it because SetSail is a tool that allows you to improve sales and increase competitiveness, and I also like the ability to see your progress and the progress of your colleagues, competition and the opportunity to win gift cards. SetSail also helps us track data and improve our sales skills, as well as guide newcomers to the team on ideal behavior.

**What do you dislike about SetSail?**

I didn't like SetSail because position updates are slow and the reward system isn't always easy to set up. However, despite these shortcomings, SetSail can be a useful tool for tracking productivity and improving team results if used correctly.

**What problems is SetSail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The usefulness is that I can see what actions are leading to the end results and what needs to be improved. This allows me to optimize my sales approach and be more successful. Overall, we find SetSail to be a useful sales productivity tool.

It gives a clear picture and understanding of which client is implementing which solution and which client needs to be followed up with. Also clarity on where do I stand among peers.

The help feature! Sometimes some solutions which clients had already implemented did not show up on set sail, and even after requesting credit for those, I was logged out of set sail and asked to log back in again. This happened several times

I like SetSail because it allows my team to gauge the amount of activity and engagement that we are having with our prospects and customers. It also brings fun and excitedment to each week!

SetSail does not always count the points correctly.

The problem that SetSail solves is giving our leadership team and aggregate view of the engagement that the sales team has with prospects and customers. Our teams performance has increased at they all want to win the weekly contests.

SetSail is a tremendous daily check to see which goals I hit and provide details on which transactions benefit me. Let me see how I compare to the rest of the team.

Not a complaint of SetSail, but SetSail's goals need to be on target for the organization's goal to not interfere with the sales motions. Get rewarded by SetSail while still being able to hit Organizational goals.

Set Sail can emphasize specific sales motions that are underperforming in our analytics.  SetSail can reward users for hitting the underperforming KPI that needs additional attention.

**What do you like best about SetSail?**

I like the fact that you're able to see the feed and what rewards you are able to redeem. The list of options are nice and relatable for everyday use, it is something I use for small things like gas or if I want something from amazon. It is like a small coupon.

**What do you dislike about SetSail?**

I don't really dislike anything. I would say you guys could improve on how fast things are updated. I had to email the tech team because one of my contacts didn't go but the customer service provided me with help fairly fast.

It isn't necessarily solving an issue but motivates us with a nice small incentive to book meetings and get nice titles in regards to what we do as SDR's. It helps with our everyday expenses when we are able to redeem something.

**What do you like best about SetSail?**

The gamification of outreach was nice to have and prizes, should your company do this weekly. Unfortunately, our team was not BDR - focused and are more customer-success focused. This tool is more of a tracking tool for management.

**What do you dislike about SetSail?**

It tracks data selectively, sometimes not correctly. My biggest gripe is seeing a use case outside of business development use. It simply does not make sense to us this if you are not also looking to use systems like Saleloft or Outreach.io. For 'farmer salespeople' I find this tool to be of small use.

**What problems is SetSail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently - none. I am using this tool meet management requirements. There the tool allows tracking of emails and overall outreach to customers or partners if you are a channel company.

The user experience is outstanding SetSail provides a great visual of what the rest of your team is doing and how far from the goal we are.

SetSail could provide weekly targets to keep users engaged and could keep others engaged on how to close the gaps when trying to achieve goals.

It is not solving a problem for me, it encourages me to hit my monthly goal to get an extra bonus.

**What do you like best about SetSail?**

I like seeing how I'm doing compared to my team members. Seeing the number of different activities I do weekly helps me spot areas to improve a lot quicker. It helps to keep you accountable and also creates friendly competition.

**What do you dislike about SetSail?**

It would be great to have an extension so see the stored data more accessible. Maybe with daily or weekly tips to motivate me to be more productive. Also, I'd enjoy seeing my team's ranking in that extension.

It helps me manage my time and activities by solving accountability issues. I can see how others are doing in my team and how I compare.  It allows me to create a plan and stick to it.

**What do you like best about SetSail?**

The most helpful feature of SetSail is being able to see at a glance where I'm standing in terms of management-defined activities against the rest of my team and being able to measure this against my quota attainment to see what activities are making the most difference. I love that by adopting it, we now have a monthly spiff program in place to award that hard work.

**What do you dislike about SetSail?**

I have had some issues with logging in to the browser version and intermittent issues logging into the chrome extension which has been irritating.

**What problems is SetSail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before, we didn't have an easy, automated way to compare activity metrics in our team. Now I can see where I sit and it also helps keep that competitive fire burning!

SetSail is good at helping me see where I stand on a monthly basis against my peers in terms of activity.

I do not like the time delay between logging an action and the points being calculated. A more real-time approach would be helpful to make sure we do not miss acitivity.

**What do you like best about SetSail?**

We started using SetSail about 4 months ago and it has been an overall great experience. For the SDR team specifically, it drives competition and has accelerated activities (Emails, calls, LI messages/connections). It's great to see different winners every week and the SDR's that don't win come out with a vengeance the next week. Customer Success has been very easy to work with, about a month in I adjusted the points and it was done within 24 hours. Overall I have had a very positive with SetSail and I would highly recommend it to any sales leader that wants to increase competition.

**What do you dislike about SetSail?**

No major issues with SetSail at this point so far. I had a minor issue with the same person winning the first few weeks but I adjusted the points and it hasn't been an issue since.

**What problems is SetSail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the issue of looking at 3-4 different Salesforce dashboards every morning and helps me see who is/isn't on track to hit their weekly goals. It also creates a more competitive environment with a reward each week

Seeing how I stack up against my peers every week is beneficial. The metrics show where I can improve on and where I am doing well. Also, winning the gift card is nice.

**What do you dislike about SetSail?**

The main downside for me is that the software sometimes misses certain activities, and I have to report that they happened. It is a time consumption where I could be focused on actually improving my score

The main business problem it solves is showing me how my activity is for the current week. I can see what areas I am lacking in but also where I am doing well.

Does a great job of motivating the team to continue pushing to reach that #1 spot for the week. Great how you can customize the categories/prizes to what will inspire and motivate your team as well.

If it could update the points on a more regular basis throughout the day that would be nice.

No real problems. Beneficial to have an updated scoreboard for the entire team and leadership to get a snapshot of everyone's performance on a daily, monthly, quarterly, etc basis.

Before using SetSail, I didn't have that good of an insight into the data we are collecting. It's good that SetSail can track both output & outcome-related metrics.

**What do you dislike about SetSail?**

It is quite tricky to set the incentive system right. Since team members are competing against each other, it might create a certain tension between them. I believe that signals should be primarily tied to outcomes (emails received, meetings held, etc...) rather than output (emails sent, calls logged). Output-based incentives can lead to lower quality of the content we are sharing.

**What problems is SetSail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem: Difficulty of tracking the overall success of each rep. SetSail clearly shows the success of each rep in individual domains - this can help identify who is doing good and who can share this knowledge with others that aren't performing so well.

**What do you like best about SetSail?**

I really liked the fact that I was able to provide direction to the new joiners on my team about the ideal behaviors they should follow. It gave a good start to people just getting started with the sales role since they could also compare and view what their peers were doing

Setsail's initial setup took a lot of time in terms of integrations, the data refreshing on regular intervals and the global teams being able to use it. The main issue was us not being able to edit the contests quickly

Setsail is a good tool for driving basic behaviors and getting the teams competitive spirit going. Its a fun way to observe trends about your peers and their activity to understand what might be helping them become successful

i like the visibility into all of the teams breakdown within each of the opportunties

the delivery and assistance with the teams getting off the ground could have been smoother and helping the rest of the org train consistently. sold us and let us alone

The only thing I can say that isn't completely positive is the time it takes to refresh our standings can be a little slow at times. I'm always checking it though so it's going to be more of an issue for me than most people.

I like how customizable the tool is, allowing any team to leverage it to incentivize and motivate their teams. It's also helpful as an IC to better understand the activity of other teammates. I was just as motivated by potential gift cards as I was by keeping up with the activity of my peers. The best part-it doesn't require any additional administrative work to get 'points' for a particular contest, making it SO EASY to use.

Honestly, nothing. The tool is very easy to use and provides a ton of value to our sales org.

It provides visibility into what sales activities drive action and revenue from our clients. It also incentivizes teams to do the less "sexy" pieces of the role, like logging meeting notes.

It keeps a rep accountable for activities and follow up with customers, prospects, and leads.  The UI is easy and simple utilize.

I've been using Set Sail for almost a year and while I do like the tool, it has many glitches.  It doesn't seem to be able to accurately record the right contacts you are engaging with per your SFDC data, we engaged our Set Sail and they were helpful but the same issue's seem to persist across our entire team.  Our SFDC is not super clean but I feel it should be able to identify the contact within an account and map that in Set Sail to properly allocate your points.  Overall, it can be a very useful tool.

Keeps me on track.

The limited number of options to redeem. For US, the tool has different ways to redeem, however, it was Amazon gift card for India. The team introduced new options for India towards the later part however.

By getting the right incentives with this program, you increase your sales activity and are closer to getting to your quotas. It is definitely a great to promote more engagement with accounts.

I don't think SetSail has anything to dislike, however, it's critical that managers carefully align the incentives that count towards the competition with the activities that translate into better results.
