&lt;p&gt;Most teams lose more time after the task is created than in the email thread itself, since the initial capture is usually one click but organizing what happens next often isn&#39;t. I&#39;ve noticed that exact pattern in reviews: one Asana for Gmail reviewer said the integration makes turning an email into a task simple, but the moment they need to break it into subtasks, they have to leave Gmail and go directly into Asana to do it, breaking the very context-switching the integration is supposed to prevent. So the email-to-task capture step is rarely the bottleneck; what happens to the task afterward usually is.&lt;/p&gt;
