"Modernize Identity Management with Ready-to-Use Integrations"
5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

SailPoint has helped me modernize the IGA layer and quickly and efficiently update a solution that was over 20 years old. I like being able to integrate it "out of the box" with many solutions and that it helps me stay up to date and respond to the day-to-day needs of identity. We also delegate to SailPoint the complexity of managing the identity lifecycle and automatic provisioning in the organization's repositories and directories. Being SaaS, it saves us from managing the infrastructure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

I find the integration with non-standard authoritative sources a bit complex because it requires development. I would like to have an AI layer that allows coding these connectors faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized, Scalable Identity Governance That Boosts Security and Compliance"
5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

What I like best about SailPoint is its ability to centralize and automate identity governance at scale. It helps organizations manage user access throughout the entire identity lifecycle, improving security, compliance, and operational efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

It’s difficult to run tests in development environments, for example. I have some certifications, but I can only test scenarios in my company’s environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Identity Automation, with Some Governance Gaps"
5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

I like SailPoint’s strong community and support. I can ask questions through architect sessions, reach the support team, and contact my dedicated customer service manager easily. I also like the out-of-the-box connectors and integrations with systems like SuccessFactors, Workday, ServiceNow, Azure, AD, and Entra ID. They let me automate provisioning and manage the employee lifecycle without building custom connectors. I find the governance and compliance capabilities useful too, including certification campaigns, access reviews, and separation-of-duties controls. I also value the automated lifecycle management, non-human identity features, and newer AI features. I’d recommend SailPoint 10 out of 10 for enterprise access provisioning and control. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

I find support can be hit or miss at times. I still see SuccessFactors aggregation issues, especially time-zone glitches, and I haven’t found enough clear documentation or community information to pinpoint why an identity gets dropped from an aggregation. The certification campaign filter doesn’t support a basic AND condition, so I can’t review only active employees in five specific roles. I also can’t easily access SailPoint logs; I have to create a support ticket and arrange a dedicated window to get them. During setup, I had to do a lot of data cleanup because of duplicate and redundant HR data, and aligning teams on role definitions and access took longer than expected and was a clunky internal process. I also felt our role-based access could have been better: we ended up with hard-coded job codes that we could have avoided. Some web service SaaS connectors were challenging because they required a lot of customization when the target applications didn’t support many operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Driving enterprise identity governance through advanced workflows and automated compliance."
5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

SailPoint Identity Security Cloud modernizes enterprise identity governance by bringing together automated workflows and Non-Employee Risk Management (NERM) in a unified approach. It helps streamline the full identity lifecycle, reduces third-party access risk, and supports continuous least-privilege compliance across complex hybrid and cloud environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

What frustrates me most about SailPoint ISC is the operational friction: rigid workflow error handling lacking dynamic retry loops, reliance on custom rule transforms for complex logic, and heavy maintenance on custom API integrations. Without disciplined modeling, preventing entitlement drift and role explosion also remains a constant battle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SailPoint Software Review: Streamlining Identity Governance for Modern Enterprises"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

SailPoint excels by delivering a unified identity governance platform that’s both powerful and user‑friendly. Its extensive connector library, real‑time analytics, and robust compliance controls make it ideal for scaling enterprise security and simplifying access management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

I find SailPoint’s licensing model a bit opaque, and the initial configuration can be time‑consuming for complex environments. Additionally, some users report that the UI, while powerful, has a steep learning curve for new administrators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Customizable, Efficient Identity Management"
4/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

I really appreciate the customization capabilities with SailPoint because we can work on use cases that are specific to us. It helps identify emerging AI agent attackers and manage applications from onboarding to offboarding efficiently. The use of SailPoint in our organization for UAR and role management has greatly reduced the manual work we used to do. Additionally, it ensures we maintain compliance as per predefined processes, improving our risk governance. Compared to Dell One, SailPoint offers a user-friendly interface and features that make end users more comfortable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

"Highly Customizable Platform with Strong Support, Performance, and Integrations"
5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

Customizability and how we can do what we like with the platform to allow it to do what we require. The support team is good and performance of the app is good, and once issues are found, we can resolve them quickly. It integrates with most apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

Search functionality is difficult for non-power users to use as it's finnicky at times and needs very specific search terms Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlining Access Management and Compliance with SailPoint"
5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

What I like most about SailPoint is that it takes a lot of the complexity out of managing user access. We use it every day for access requests, approvals, provisioning, and certifications, and the automation saves a significant amount of manual work. It also gives us a clear view of user access across applications, which helps with security reviews, compliance, and audits. Another big advantage is its flexibility. We've been able to customize workflows and integrate SailPoint with various systems to fit our business needs. Overall, it has improved both operational efficiency and governance across our environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

The biggest downside is that SailPoint can be complex at times. It offers a lot of flexibility, which is great, but that also means there is a learning curve when configuring workflows, integrations, and custom requirements. For organizations with complex environments, implementations and upgrades can take time and require skilled resources. That said, the platform's capabilities for governance, automation, and compliance make the investment worthwhile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
