# How do you handle difficult migrations between SailPoint feature releases?

SailPoint feels extremely feature rich, and it seems like the vendor keeps adding capabilities in response to market demand. The challenge has been that migrating from older features to newer releases can be very difficult, sometimes requiring you to rip out what you already have and start again. On the plus side, it helps us stay on top of workforce identity, provisioning and managing accounts, and handling entitlements and access requests. How have you approached upgrades or migrations without disrupting governance and provisioning?
