I like how there are features to help create schedules and help plan out procurement. It is a very useful spreadsheet/product that is great with sharing amongst a team. The biggest thing I dislike about this program is how updates into the spreadsheet do not automatically save. I am impressed with the usability, ease, and ability to make our resource management as detailed as we want or need, or it can be elementary for some needs. I like that it gives us the flexibility to adapt the tool to our ever-changing business needs. What do you dislike about Resource Management by Smartsheet? I can't come up with a dislike. I can adapt the sheet to be whatever I need it to be. I can add or subtract columns; I can choose what and how those columns are filled; I can choose what to do with my sheet, so, in all honesty, I do not have anything I dislike. With such a large company and many moving parts, it has been difficult for us to find a program that does what we need. SmartSheets Resource Management has been excellent! I wish that the time entry user interface would have an easy way of clearing out estimates for the day rather than all entries on the sheet. The simple to use dashboard and powerful capability of the sheet with multi check box and advanced filtering is a great help for managing huge resource data points. I only use Smart Sheet to submit tickets on and follow up with customers once management has made an update. Everything I touch before sending it to management is great. When you have multiple tickets being returned to an agent to follow up on the layout is hard to read. All tickets should be sent back to an agent as 1 ticket and not multiple. Being able to submit a question for management to answer and then I follow up with the customer with what management says. I like that RM automatically saves my time when I document it throughout the day, without erasing. It is easy to make updates. What do you dislike about Resource Management by Smartsheet? Trying to navigate the system to find the timesheet portion is difficult. Smartsheet allows for a list of customizable workspaces, projects and services. Each selection will take you to a different Smartsheet, similar to an excel file. Finding the right project/service may be easier to find depending on how it is set up by the user. I wish the menu on the left would list the spreadsheets needed daily. The best part is the control you have with the project within SmartSheet. You are controlling the resources within the sheet. We use O365 to connect to or AD and also exchange.
