I have multiple outstanding tickets, one is now almost one month old. A business cannot afford ignoring customers in a business that is usually running on a monthly schedule. Update: Got someone responding to my ticket with a copy/paste answer and closed the ticket. The response was not even remotely connected to my question. It also gives you access to data from tools like Majestic SEO without needing your own subsciption. **What do you dislike about Raven Tools?** The biggest issue and kind of a red flag is that basic data you would expect Raven to pull from Google Ads just isn't there. My problem is with the Impressions Top and Impressions Absolute Top metrics being missing. These metrics have been available in Google Ads for years and replaced the Ave. Position metric. That Average Position metric is still in Raven Tools, obviously pulling in no data. I complained about this, and it took a while until someone in customer support understood what I was talking about. Even when they did, there was no explanation of why, and no promise that the issue would be resolved. Also, because I need to manually fix reports, the automatic scheduling feature doesn't do me any good. **What problems is Raven Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can produce my reports faster, but they are of slightly lower quality due to the lack of flexibility of Raven tools. And as mentioned, there is data missing. I must use multiple workarounds, such as downloading CSV files directly from the web interfaces of the platforms and upload them into Raven. Also the sections that do display data are pretty basic. ### 5. Their integrations with Google and Facebook advertising, analytics, goal tracking, widgets for personalized messages, and more have been great solutions for our monthly reports. Customer service has been pretty responsive and professional. I like that the dashboard offers a quick overview of many aspects of marketing, so you can easily see how they all contribute to the metrics on reporting. There are a huge variety of widgets to choose from on the reporting so we can scale a report according to the client's scope of work and create a template to help populate reports for other clients. The customer service team has been responsive to suggestions especially when we showed concern for a future integration with Google Analytics 4. **What do you dislike about Raven Tools?** The content ordering tool yielded very poor content for our agency. We found there to be a language barrier and spent a great deal of time editing articles we paid for. It didn't work out for our agency to use this part of the service. Manually updating reports when we've made changes to report titles or who the email address is showing the report is from has been cumbersome. Occassionally one of the reporting modules disconnects or doesn't work due to Facebook updates. It affects some of our clients but not others and can timely to go back through and make sure eveyrhting is connected properly each month. Which there was an automatic connection for Google My Business for Reporting and more control over Mail Chimp reporting. **Recommendations to others considering Raven Tools:** I love this tool for reporting. As mentioned above it can scale for clients who just need analytics to clients who have a full marketing package with advertising, social posting, goals, need to understand demographics, seo performance, and more. **What problems is Raven Tools solving and how is that benefiting you?** I do all of our monthly client reporting with Raven and find it to provide an excellent overview of how all the pieces and parts are working. It's been helpful when there are questions about how effective our marketing has been to be able to pull a report and have all of the data at our fingertips. It really helps prove our worth as an agency and why we charge for what we do... there is a lot of labor and careful watching of accounts that leads towards that monthly report! ### 8. Sometimes, the wrong GA account or Ad Words account connects to a certain client, and I need to go in and manually adjust. I can gather all of the data from Google, Facebook, Bing, Twitter, and more and generate great reports for my customers. And that, at a competitive pricing. My customer really like my reports. Once I have everything set up and connected then I can focus on real analyses of my clients' websites. I also like the fact that I can easily produce a PDF of any report. My customers really like getting my reports. They are clean and easy to understand. I can customize each section of the reports and really make it my own. I like the fact that we are pulling SEO data from Moz and Majestic. I must say this was also a selling factor. The Google Ads reports that I generate were very informational and I used them in doing my analyses. The way I was laying out the data helped me several times in find ways to improve my campaigns. **What do you dislike about Raven Tools?** Not much. I think a better workflow for backlink tracking should be created. It's a little hard to work with that section. **Recommendations to others considering Raven Tools:** Raven does all the Google/Facebook reporting you need and it's easy to set up. The keyword manager will delete some keywords and not others making management frustrating. The support only answered me when i mentioned refund and charge-back and was unable to grant a refund due to their policy even during their trial period. It was one of the worst SEO app experience I have had in my 20 years of web development experience! **Recommendations to others considering Raven Tools:** I have been using Raven off and on through the last 8 years, as far as I can tell the app continues to degrade in functionality.
