"Extremely Disappointed with PushPay"
What do you like best about ChurchStaq?

nothing, absolutely nothing DO NOT go with Pushpay Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?

Our experience with PushPay has been incredibly disappointing. Here are the main issues we’ve faced:

Locked into 2-Year Commitments: The long-term contracts are restrictive and don’t offer the flexibility needed if your circumstances change or if you’re dissatisfied with the service.

Outdated Technology: The platform feels outdated and hasn’t kept up with modern standards. This has been a significant hindrance to our operations.

Incomplete Setup After 3 Years: Despite using PushPay for three years, we are still not fully set up. This is unacceptable and has caused numerous operational challenges.

Terrible Customer Service: The customer service is awful. We have to rely on them for most changes, which is both time-consuming and frustrating.

Not Suitable for Non-Church Organizations: If you’re not a church, definitely avoid PushPay. Even if you are a church, I would still advise against using them.

Questionable Ethics: Our customer service representative claimed to be a pastor, but his ethical practices do not align with what one would expect from a pastor.

Overall, I would not recommend PushPay to anyone. The combination of outdated technology, poor customer service, and restrictive contracts makes it a poor choice for any organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"CCB Great for New Church Plants"
What do you like best about ChurchStaq?

It was easy to use for the functions needed at the time we used this. We didn't use every feature, but there are many. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?

It did not integrate well with some of the other software being used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An Imperfect but Useful Solution for Church Administrators"
What do you like best about ChurchStaq?

CCB's Advanced and Saved Search Functions make it easy for church administrators to track demographic data for their congregations.

For example, if members have filled out their profiles, you can run and save searches filtering them by age range, location (zip code), gender, marital status, and more. This simplifies targeted outreach (whether by email or snail mail), since you can export these contacts to CSV/Excel, pull them into a mail merge within CCB, or print their addresses onto standard mailing labels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?

CCB needs improvement with automation and integration. Everything is manual: you cannot set up recurring emails or schedule mail merges within the software. CCB has integration options with other services (i.e., MailChimp), but the integrations can be finicky to configure and don't always sync smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"CCB has been a great tool for our church!"
What do you like best about ChurchStaq?

CCB is a great tool. So many features. The LEAD app is super helpful for me to empower my youth volunteer team in doing the work of the ministry. CCB also has some great integrations with other platforms to take it even further. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?

There are times were the UI feels a bit dated or clunky. Thats the only complaint that i would have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Church Community Builder"
What do you like best about ChurchStaq?

Ease of use for sure! We use CCB as our database for volunteer tracking, reports, scheduling, calendaring and all events, childrens check in, event and class check in, financial ... you name it, it does it and we use it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?

Honey we've been using it for a long time now and while we find quirks here and there, we always can find a work around or make suggestions and it gets improved to do what we need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A one stop shop that will cost you."
What do you like best about ChurchStaq?

I love its easy-to-use software and integration with giving. It truly helps a church staff connect with members and is versatile enough to meet almost any church's needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?

It is pricy and the integrated giving company costs a lot as well. We recently shifted to securegive which is saving the church 1000s of dollars in tithe and offerings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Not Bad For What It Does"
What do you like best about ChurchStaq?

I like that I can give donations to charitable organizations using their platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?

The design (UI/UX) of the platform is very out-dated and needs an overhaul. Also, I'd wish that the user experience would keep the full transaction workflow within the app, without usually redirecting to a web page in a web browser (and if on a phone, opening a browser app). "Church Community Builder - A Great Tool for Churches!"
What do you like best about ChurchStaq?

I love that Church Community Builder helps me as a pastor connect with the people in our church. It provides me with contact information and an easy way to get in touch quickly. I also love the accompanying app that is part of Church Community Builder - the Lead App. It is incredbily helpful! Lastly, I greatly appreciate the security features - not just anyone is able to access our church members' data, which is quite comforting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?

I have been using Church Community Builder for several months now and I can honestly say that, as of right now, there is NOTHING that I particularly dislike about this prodcut! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"After a long relationship, we're looking elsewhere."
What do you like best about ChurchStaq?

CCB is a comprehensive church management system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?

Customer service has gone drastically downhill since Pushpay took it over, as has all of the updates. I used to get a 24 hour response to a question, and it is now taking weeks to get a response--and when there is one it is clear they haven't fully read and understood the question. At one point during an urgent need at vbs, I never did get a response.

It is a dinosaur of a system--like we're trying to operate in DOS and make it look like Windows. When they do updates, they often remove functionality. Latest updates are done without advance notice. They used to have webinars to discuss updates, but those have stopped since Pushpay took over.

Help articles seldom have the information I'm looking for, as they only cover the very basic, top-level issues.

We have to purchase add-on api's to text, send stylish mail merges (via Mailchimp), and integrate to our web calendar. Mail merges only handle very basic style functions.

Two-way texting is not an option--only "twexting" via a twitter account (so anything you send out is going to show up on your twitter account).

The app is very expensive, only a template system, and customer service on it is horrible.

I would not recommend CCB to anyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
