## ChurchStaq Reviews
  ### 1. Amazing Product!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2019

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

The reports, the village, user ability ease, ease of admin use, help desk, how it fits. How hard the team works to incorporate and continuously roll out new options.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

A few things could be improved but I’m sure they’re being worked on. Things such as, more metric options, more private notes, etc.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This product fills in so many gaps. It makes following up with our congregation simple, tithing/giving with ease, communicating with people on all levels.

  ### 2. Pushpay review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William H. | Executive Pastor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2019

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

The simplicity of mobile giving was the thing we liked best.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

Tracking deposits can be cumbersome. Better integration would be good.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Similar led electronic solution

  ### 3. Easy to use portal & many ways to give!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2018

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

I like that Pushpay works well with Church Community builder! Also like the pushpay portal, easy to run reports to get the information that you need. I also like the texting option, it gives our givers even more ways to give!

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

We switched from a different platform to Pushpay and I wish someone on the implementation team at Pushpay was more helpful, it seemed that I knew more about what was happening then he did.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pushpay allows our people to give in many different ways. Easy to use and easy to set up reoccurring gifts, which is awesome!

  ### 4. Excellent and convenient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2019

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

It was convenient and tracks giving for our members

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

Sometimes customer service can be difficult

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking and giving for donors

  ### 5. Best data collection to track individuals within their community of attenders.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly J M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2018

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

Their use of process queues to provide snapshot information on people so they do not fall through the cracks.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

Because the database is extremely customize-able, it's time consuming in the beginning.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

Make sure that all of your staff/volunteers who will be using it attend training and assign someone the job of keeping the database "clean".

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using the process queues we've been able to track the level of training a volunteer has completed before assigning them positions.
We use CCB for check-in for any event that we want to record attendance - the reporting attached to attendance is another step toward ensuring that families do not disappear without notice.
Additionally, we use process queues to connect with visitors to understand the best way to serve them and/or help them find out where they fit in our congregation.

  ### 6. This is the basis for our database.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2018

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

I like how they are updating their scheduling system

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

The scheduling system is not as good as it should be yet.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

Change the scheduling system to fit with looking at the service times and compare over several weeks.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How to schedule volunteers. How to track people in the church. How to check in kids at events.

  ### 7. PushPay Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2018

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

I love how EASY it is to send money through Pushpay. Once your profile is set up, you literally just type in your amount and hit send. You can also set up a recurring amount so it will automatically send as often as you want.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

I find it odd that when you click to “give” it opens up a web browser. Not sure why it can’t all be done directly from the app.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PushPay has made tithing a much simpler task at our church. People don’t normally carry cash or checks around these days, so having a method to be able to give online is really beneficial.

  ### 8. Push pay rocks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2019

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

I totally love the ease of this program.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

Really there isn’t a whole lot I don’t like

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

This is definitely worth the money

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Online giving

  ### 9. The best experience for our users

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael F. | Business Administrator, Religious Institutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2018

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

Pushpay is relatively easy to set up, provides plenty of admin features in the back end, and has reasonable customer service. Above all else, however, is the ease of use for our users. We accept donations through PushPay and have heard several times how great it is that we use a service that allows them to give with as little hassle as possible. Once they set up their account, they can give in less than 10 seconds. That's perfect.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

While their customer service is usually very helpful, it is not always very timely. We've submitted enough support tickets to know that sometimes they respond quickly and other times it could take days to get a proper response. The cost can be fairly substantial as well depending on the size of your organization.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As mentioned above, the fact that people can give in such a short period of time means there are minimal opportunities for them to "back out" and change their minds. Additionally, they have integrations set up with a number of church management services, which saves time when reconciling accounts/gifts.

  ### 10. Great database for our congregation!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Misti J. | Database Administrator , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2018

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

There is a lot of room to grow when using this database for your congregation and staff members!

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

I wish it was easier to implement, it was very difficult to get our entire staff and congregation to use this database.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the problem of process queues among our staff and communication from our staff to our congregation!

  ### 11. I love CCB - it's makes our lives so much easier!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caitlyn G. | Pastoral Administrator, Religious Institutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2018

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

The BEST feature is how well CCB keeps track of people and events. We use it all of the time to set up different classes, take attendance, etc. It's great because it keeps track of everything. Attendance, forms, giving, giftings, etc. It's VERY comprehensive and super user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

The only issue I have ever had with CCB is how minimal the mail merges are. You kind of have to know coding to make the mail merge look sort-of professional. I wish that CCB would build their system to act a little bit more like MailChimp.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

Figure out who they work best with (cross-platform). Also, if you are switching to CCB, make sure you have a dedicated person who will take all of the classes possible for the software, it's such a help, and makes things so much easier.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have information on everyone available all of the time. As a pastor, if I need to contact someone, I have access to their information on the go. We also use it all of the time to register people for events/conferences and take payments. We were able to connect it with Pushpay, and that made our finance back-end a LOT easier.

  ### 12. A Great Shepherding Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tony P. | Lecturer, Higher Education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2018

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

It keeps all of the pertinent information for a church member/visitor all in one place—whether they are saved, baptized, are a member, are involved in small groups, etc., as well as allowing you to take attendance and invite people to serve. It is truly a great tool to shepherd fellow believers in Christ.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

I don't know if this has to do with the nature of the software or if it is particular to CCB, but it is at times difficult to use. Some features are hard to find. In order to get all that you can out of it, you need to be strong with regard to tech.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

Teach your entire staff to be able to use CCB at full capacity.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us as pastoral staff to stay connected to our congregation and to help them in their walks with Christ.

  ### 13. A decent Church management software solution

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam B. | Pathways Pastor, Religious Institutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2018

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

The recent update to be increasingly mobile friendly is a change that I have really appreciated

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

There are many things that don't make logical sense when going to use the program.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

For smaller churches I prefered the Breeze chms but for power users CCB is about as good as its going to get.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CCB helps us to keep track of our membership and their involvement. Their form building is one of the most useful things that i utilize this software for.

  ### 14. Good integration, limited usability.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Serena W. | Administrative Assistant, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

The best part of the software is the integration that it has with other apps such as Constant Contact. The address book, people finder is also very helpful - like a digital contact list.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

Much of the software is a bit cumbersome. It is difficult and not intuitive with many of it's features.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

Be willing to reach out to customer support whenever needed. They have fast reply times and seem to really have a vested interest in serving churches that use this software. I would also recommend having a table periodically set up at your church to assist members in setup and management of their own personal CCB accounts. Lastly, stay on top of updates. Be faithful to update accounts where there are marriages/name changes/births/moves, etc. If you keep your groups clean while you go, it will be much more simplistic to manage along the way.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing contacts for our church members. It is so helpful to have everybody's contacts in the same place.

  ### 15. CCCB

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jody R. | Connections Minister, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2018

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

Its flexibility is great, but the main thing I enjoy is the process building. It allows me to see how people are matriculating through our congregation.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

Figuring out the scheduling capacity is not that easy.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

Make sure to take the training option. It was extremely helpful. Kristy was invaluable in letting us understand HOW to use the software. Not just in a general sense, but in order to be effective with it.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to track how people come through our church, how they serve, where they serve, and if they are overused. But most importantly, we are checking for rites of passage in their faith life as well as trying to see if we have been seeing them fall through the cracks.

  ### 16. Good comprehensive software for Churches

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lance C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2018

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

Integration of communication, calendaring, group life and directory and especially the twext feature

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

Cumbersome logging in, difficult to get people to respond to volunteer opportunities which holds up the program from notifying others.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

You need to pay for the training - very important

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of people's contact, group life interaction and notifications about events

  ### 17. Great user experience and fantastic support.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2018

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

CCB is very user friendly which makes it very easy to engage volunteers with our data management and communication strategy.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

When exporting data to excel, the information often appears in a format that is difficult to view clearly and usually requires reformatting.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

I would recommend taking advantage of CCB's implementation training if at all possible. It helped the process go off with relative ease for our team.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Church Community Builder allows our organization to easily and effectively manage information about members.

  ### 18. Great way to tithe!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2018

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

I love the ease of hooking up your bank account and being able to tithe to my church. I have been to two different churches that use this software and it has been great each time. The ease of using your smartphone and connected wallet makes it so simple. You can set up reminders or even make it autopay. You can use multiple cards, and it is very easy to choose which card you would like to use. I find that the app is the absolute best! I am able to use this software anywhere I am, whether it be on the road or actually where I am paying.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

There is not a whole lot that I dislike about this product. I was frustrated until they finally added touch id which made things faster login wise. I found the ease of finding specific businesses that use PushPay to be hard because the names have to be very precise. The app does tend to crash sometimes on my phone, and I have to restart the process.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

Use it! /it's the easiest and most convenient way to pay!

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to keep all financial donations in one place instead of many different ones. They keep everything paid in a log as well which makes it great for record keeping. I have liked it saving all of my information so that I don't have to re-enter it as well.

  ### 19. Full-featured, simple-to-use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2018

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

The UI makes it useable by just about anyone. It's very simple, approachable, and easy to understand. We found that most people would use it for just one feature (such as checkin or event registration). In those cases especially, it's easy to pickup, explain, and become pretty well-versed in that little part of the system.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

There are so many different features that it's easy to get overwhelmed by all the utility potential. There's a lot to be onboarded on. I wouldn't just throw a new volunteer on this system and hope that they figure it out. But because CCB's support is so world class, over a good period of time, you (or any of your team members) will eventually feel as confident as possible in utilizing it fully.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

This is a great system to look into. The features and simplicity are second-to-none. If it works in your church's budget, this is the solution you probably hope exists. Do your research, call them up, and prepare to be really impressed.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a one-stop shop for all of your church activities and databases to utilize one another. The fact that all parts of the church can use it makes it a great "one place" to have all events and everything else.

  ### 20. My usage of of Pushpay

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2018

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

My church uses it for donations and tithe offerings. The main benefit is convenience. I hardly have cash on hand to offer at church in person. If I did it would be only $20-40 but since when I'm committing to giving more, I feel more accountable to give the full amount when I'm doing it online. It also allows me to specify what categories I want my money to go towards (missions, church funds, local church charities, etc.). I'm sure there's an added organizational benefit come tax season.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

Just the initial set up. It's not difficult or hard so it's really not a con to the product and once it's done the first time, it make the process much more simple by remembering who you are.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

I think all church or charitable institutions could benefit from this.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Convenience, accountability, easy for organization of funds, speed of use after initial setup.

  ### 21. Quick and easy donation processing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven A. | Executive Minister, Religious Institutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

I like that returning givers can give in less than 60 seconds. All giving statements are easy to distribute via email and it automatically prints statements that don't have an email.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

Administering the PushPay account can be quite an undertaking. Not very intuitive interface and reports are very difficult to get accurate due to the way they record transactions. You cannot track fees for each fund which makes it difficult when trying to expense the fees through the correct account.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

Good system overall if you don't have an online giving platform.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PushPay allows us to accept donations via credit card and ACH payments.

  ### 22. Good for networking, but doesn't have a lot of extra functionality.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Serena W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

The address-book style directory. This makes it easy to keep track of members of our church and all their personal information. If someone goes to our church, we can contact them through CCB with a lot of ease.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

The interface is rather complicated to use at times. There are a lot of layers of pages and not a good, intuitive flow. Also, until recently, mobile usability was very low. They recently released a mobile app, but it is pretty glitchy so far.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

Take time to really learn the system, especially if you are an administrator. Your members will have a lot of questions and you will be their first line of defense.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of our church members.

  ### 23. CHMS

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

The customer service is excellent. The ease of use for administration is excellent. The reporting is very robust.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

The software needs to be more scale-able. It tends to work great for small oganizations.

As organization grow so do their needs and ability for customization. It would be great to have better access to customizable content.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

It all starts with the congregation. What ages are they? Do they need access to mobile content? Are you going to use CCB as a social networking platform? Or simply as a CHMS?

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking our member base and helping connect them to Christ through resources that are most relevant to them (pastoral care, group involvement, financial coaching, etc). We have been able to get a good grasp of the processes that connect people.

  ### 24. I found Pushpay very satisfactory for our church.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

Pushpay is simple to use. They have strong campaigns that helped me understand how to use Pushpay. They have excellent customer service. They help you create your own phone app and web application.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

I haven't found anything yet that I do not like about the program. Our members seem to like it and use it. We have seen our weekly giving increase.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

Very compatible with Church Community Builder. Phone apps are helpful for members to use, so we suggest using Pushpay to help create you own for your church. You can also place a Pushpay giving icon on your website.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are receiving more donations. Many of our members have left cash and checks behind. With the ability of using a debit card or transferring money from thier checking, it is easier on them and saves them time. They can give anywhere, not just when in our church building. Pushpay has also helped us have better accuracy in determining trends and the change in the giving culture.

  ### 25. Great Church Software Option

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

I appreciate the easy to use interface that Church Community Builder offers. This program is very intuitive and visually engaging. It is a great all in one church software program that offers a database for your congregants, facility scheduling, sign ups/registration, payment options, giving, group management and more. I also appreciate the frequent updates being made to the software. CCB is regularly improving their product as they receive feedback from users.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

I dislike some features in the process queue system. These can be a bit cumbersome and difficult to teach ministry leaders.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

Church Community Builder is doing a great job moving to a more mobile friendly platform. I think this will be increasingly helpful in engaging the congregation as time goes on.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the greatest benefits we have seen in using Church Community Builder is the ability to run reports and searches very easily. We have also enjoyed using the mobile friendly features of the database for referencing people's information on the go.

  ### 26. Do your Research and then Decide

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anika M. | Administrative Office Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

I love that it has options of either paying per-giver or a flat monthly rate of $99. It allows you to have an easy process to give online or through a mobile app. If you don't have an application of your own, this is a good place to start. For a fairly newer company (2011) they are not bad!

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

What I don't like is that their communication of changes, whether it is pricing or not, is not very good. Their customer service tries to help but normally never does because they don't comprehend the problems. Instead of taking the time to listen and look into it they try to solve things with easy cover-ups.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

Pushpay is a company that allows you to manage and track a lot in one space. You pay a good amount for features, so make sure you are able to use them all to get the most out of your money. Some of those features include Campaign Management, Donation Tracking, Donor Database, Gift Management, Mobile Giving, Online Giving, Recurring Donations, & Receipts/statements. Do your research and decide whether this works for you. I know a few companies similar to this that offer more and are around the same price.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This company offers a decent amount of functions. From Donation Management to Event Management to Online Payments and Giving! Before we got our church app this was a nice tool to allow those who wanted a quick and easy way to give an option to give.

  ### 27. Church Community Builder Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shaina J. | Product Owner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

It's a great multi-platform tool that will help show metrics for all church members and include all the information in one place. In addition, the website is fairly user-friendly to navigate which is helpful for multiple age groups.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

There is a very steep learning curve for this product. In addition, navigating the reports is not as intuitive as I would like. It's great that there are multiple platforms for the product, but the mobile application could use some work. Customer service is also not the best- it's hard to hear back from them when needing troubleshooting help.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

It's a great tool to help consolidate and organize information that is necessary for church attendance. I would recommend this product but also test-trial other softwares to see which one is most beneficial for your needs. It's a software that has a decent amount of utilities that you will use, but as far as the bells and whistles you are looking for it may not have all of them.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It connects church members and provides information all in one place. Our church is a little older so providing information for everyone young and old is complicated and used with different platforms. This software helps streamline the communication process.

  ### 28. Helps easily organize members, but requires coding skills that can go beyond user expertise.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civic & Social Organization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2018

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

I am able to easily organize church members into categories based on gifts, skills, and preferred contact

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

Interface is not always intuitive. Having to formal emails with HTML coding is a hassle.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes communication easy, just as software like this should.

  ### 29. Convenient & Easy Way to Give

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

I love the Pushpay App! I love the recurring giving feature, which allows you to set up automatic giving to a certain organization. I love having an easy way to track my giving transactions, as well as being able to utilize the text-to-give feature. It is so quick and convenient. You can also give to multiple organizations who use Pushpay which is really convenient, especially if you are already a user of Pushpay.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

As a user, I have enjoyed using Pushpay. The only thing I've found that I disliked was the initial switch from an old platform to Pushpay, I had trouble getting my account switched over and connecting my debit card. I'm sure if I had reached out for help it would've been solved faster than I did alone.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems solved would be having a great platform for giving which is user-friendly and provides multiple ways for people to give (app, texting...).

  ### 30. Church Community Builder Saves Time

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

I work in our church's Community Development department, which means that I help in coordinating and facilitating 5 local partnerships, 2 national partnerships, and 4 global partnerships. All of that coordination takes time and requires good notes and careful tracking. Church Community Builder allows me to do just that, all while managing groups of volunteers, sending out communications, etc.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

As a multi-site church, we have people associated with 2 campuses, soon to be 3. Church Community Builder is set-up so that each campus has essentially its own database. So, if you are searching for a particular name and forget to switch back and forth between campuses, you may not find the person you are looking for. It just feels a little clunky at times.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

If you work with any number of volunteers, church members, or donors, this software is for you. You can easily track involvements, connections, families, donations, etc. all in a single place. Plus, we use this for fundraising for our Service Teams, and sending out a link to friends and family for all donations to come in through a single avenue is a huge time-saver!

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Church Community Builder allows us to track volunteers in each branch of our ministry, easily communicate with them via email, and even create events in a shared calendar that everyone sees. Additionally, as an admin at the church I work for, CCB allows me to reserve rooms, rent out resources, and calendar events in conjunction with the other admins so that nothing is double-booked.

  ### 31. Great Company For All Your Mobile Giving or Online Giving Needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

Pushpay has brought “easy” back into the discussion when it comes to online giving and mobiles giving. With multiple options like Text to give, customizable mobile giving and in-app integration Pushpay is seriously one of the best in the game.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

I honestly haven’t found anything that has been an issue. They are upfront about their capabilities, they are easy to use. It’s a win win!

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

If you’re looking for an opportunity to reach out to the ones in your congregation who primarily use a debit card and seldom let carry cash or a check book, then Pushpay is a great option!

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By using Pushpay, our church has opened the door on many in our congregation that wanted to tithe yet didn’t carry a checkbook or cash on them normally.

  ### 32. Life with Church Community Builder

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John G. | Worship Mininster, Wholesale, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

Pretty much everything about it. For us, getting off a local server and getting on a hosted / browser based platform has been an amazing experience. We love the interface, it's easy to learn and very member friendly. The online contribution component is slick and easy to reconcile - we use remote deposit with it as well which makes handling contribution easy.

We love their Group Leader app, it give our leadership valuable info on the people they are caring for. All around great solution for church management.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

Probably the only thing we dislike is that you can't pickup the phone and talk to support. They use a web-base / email support system like just about everyone else but sometimes it would be so much easier to just be able to talk through a problem with someone.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

Get the coaching with your installation. They gave us so many great ideas.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We manage a large number of members, activities, facilities, small groups and so much more with CCB, can't imagine managing without it.

  ### 33. Great software - Really recommend the coaching for implementation!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kimberly A. | IT Administrator, Religious Institutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

Very robust software, really was a step up for us. Powerful tool that offers so many more features than we had with our previous on-site server-based software. Really geared well not only for managing church data from a STAFF perspective, but also really gives powerful tools to lay leaders to connect with their group members. Also gives attenders much more control over their own data - allows all staff/leadership to have access to a much more up-to-date store of information.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

The software has so many features that it is difficult to break people out of the habit of doing things "like they used to do." In other words, the software gives us the opportunity to be much more efficient, and to keep people from falling through the cracks, but it is hard to break people's old habits so that we can utilize the tool the way it is intended.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

DEFINITELY, DEFINITELY, DEFINITELY buy the coaching package for implementation. Our whole implementation team could not emphasize this enough. The insight we gleaned from the coaching process REALLY helped us to have a much more complete and well-planned implementation than we would ever have been able to figure out on our own.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For our staff, having access to information regardless of location has been great! It is nice not to be tied to an onsite network/server/software package. Our child check-in process has been SO much improved after moving to Church Community Builder. Before, we were struggling to keep our old system up, and it wasn't connected to the main church information, so we frequently had gaps between the systems. Now, it's all one thing, it's very reliable, and it's been fantastic.

  ### 34. Makes keeping church info easy.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2018

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

Easy to use and stores all the info for the church in one easy to use location.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

It's easy to create a duplicate profile.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

Ccb is very easy to use and is extremely useful for all churches.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having to keep file records of all the members information.

  ### 35. Great management tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2018

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

Ease of use, ability to work around things to almost do anything

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

Email capabilities are minimal, too many options sometimes leads to
Confusion

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

Great resource for managing small groups, and events, not a great resource for email management and communication with volunteers/church members. Also not super easy for just members of the church to use who are not trained in CCBs functions. Training is needed.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of people and groups is simple

  ### 36. CCB

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

I like that there is easy access to your financial giving. There are reports that can be generated, and users are able to access online. I also like that you are able to get information on individuals. If there is someone I'd like to send a birthday card to, then that information can be easily found.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

It is not too easy to navigate and it feels a little clunky. It can be difficult to get everyone to update their profiles or have their up-to-date information.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

It seems to be going in the right direction as having message boards, calendars, people to contact and financial giving. I would recommend to compare it with other similar products to see if it is right for you.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A way to build community while also accessing financial giving. It has the benefit of easily accessing financial giving through the site. It also has the calendar feature which can be accessible to everyone in the church for events.

  ### 37. Easy peasy and going in the right direction

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

The software is super intuitive. It's easy to use and all of our staff that use it figured things out on their own. They have a very helpful and searchable FAQ section as well.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

There are some very obvious and needed features that have not arrived yet. But since their staff is so responsive and open to feedback, hopefully those things will come! Specifically, there needs to be a Kiosk function in the giving software.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

If you need a kiosk option for your giving platform or registrations platform (want people to be able to sign themselves up for things at your church), do not pick this software. All elements work wonderfully but not having a kiosk function means we have to use a web interface and have a staff member manage the sign-ups or giving station at our church pre and post services. It's very invasive. Kiosk is absolutely necessary! HOWEVER, Planning Center and Church Center Online are consistently improving and redesigning things so hopefully it will come in the near future.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recurring giving and donor management

  ### 38. Cloud CMS done well with a few exceptions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ken W. | Adjunct Faculty, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

Reliable and secure. We've been using CCB for about five years now and have had no real reliability issues. Moving our data into the cloud was pretty painless and reduces a lot of the risk of hosting on site.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

I've been asking for years for the software to be more International friendly. For example, their forms input doesn't account for differences in addressing schemes in different countries. Our ministry has an international outreach and collecting addresses from people in other countries is problematic.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

Be sure to get the on boarding help and mentoring from CCB. It's very helpful to get your church moving in the right direction.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Donation management, fundraising, outreach, small group communication, and children's checkin.

  ### 39. There isn't a better database system for the Low cost.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy G. | Children's Director, Religious Institutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

Church Community Builder is easy to navigate. We love the online giving portion as well as the ease of making online payments through forms. We use that feature quite a bit. Emails for information purposes are quick and easy using the mail merge feature. Process Queues allow us to keep track of visitors getting connected. It definitely has some great features.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

The custom support aspect of CCB is a little frustrating. I would like to be able to just chat with someone online or the over the phone when I have a question about something particular. Instead you have to submit a ticket (email) and then wait for a reply. They are fairly quick in replying but it's not the same as being able to talk to a person.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easier communication to church members through mail merges. The report function is very helpful in gathering information/data about church activity.

  ### 40. Great people first platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel S. | IT Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

By far the best platform for connecting with people and creating systems.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

At first I didn’t like that there was no mobile app but one was launched this month and I am loving it.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

Decide on what is most important to your church at the stage you are at. What are the main items needing to be addressed with your ChMS platform and are you needing check in or not.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to manage small groups and ensure our teams and parents are always communicated to as a means to keep everybody on the same page.

  ### 41. Great Solution for Your Church

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

This is a great solution for churches needing to get more of there data in one place. As a volunteer for my church I use it to stay connected with my serve schedule as well as communicate with other church members. It's a great resource for our children's ministries too.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

As a volunteer in the children's ministries it would be great for the leaders to actually be able to attach our lesson plans to the service assignment and get them in our email. That feature is limiting.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

It's worth looking at if you are a church that needs a better data solution.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Knowing when I serve and if I need to find a replacement it is easy scheduling that. Communication in one simple place makes serving at church easier.

  ### 42. Easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Individual & Family Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2018

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

I use Pushpay on a regular basis and it’s extremely easy to use. I’ve used other apps to send money and they either have too many options or are way too involved. This is straight forward and dummy proof.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

There isn’t anything I don’t like about the app.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to easily send and receive payments

  ### 43. Easy to use but has limitations

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

I like that you can email and text people in groups easily

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

Registering for an event has huge limitations. It does not work if you need to have a deposit for an expensive event.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

If you don't have a lot of complicated registrations and you want to communicate easily with the people in your church, CCB would be a good fit for you.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like that the company is willing to update the product to make it a better and have more tools for the user.

  ### 44. Great Software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

Great tool for church systems. The financial side is incredibly robust, and the option to create groups for nearly any scenario makes communication with the people in those groups super easy.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

They need to devote way more time and resources to their app. It works alright, but is extremely limited in its capabilities.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking people/attendance, organizing people, mass communication, financials.

  ### 45. Has BeenIncredibly Helpful!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meredith R. | Administrator, Religious Institutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

I like the constant improvements that are offered, the responsiveness of the team and the ability to interact with other users to find solutions, discuss best practices and work around difficult issues.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

Like anything, there are always elements that I wish were more robust. I would like a few more features in mail merges (like scheduling an email in advance) and sometimes find there are some issues with things if you are running multisite

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

I recommend the program highly, it has helped us be more efficient and effective with reaching our community. The additional training, blogs, workshops and forums that are available have helped keep us on the front of everything we are doing. The initial set up can be slightly overwhelming with all the new terminology, I recommend spending the money on the coaching -- well worth it!

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have drastically decreased our printing and paper use since implementing CCB. Our communication with our congregation is much faster, we have been able to empower our volunteer leaders on a whole new level since we can release portions of information/access to them without opening everything and since they can access that information from home/ mobile. We have better tracking on new members, a persons growth track and process.

  ### 46. Powerful software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2018

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

CCB does everything we need to get our guests connected and keep them informed.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

There is nothing I dislike about the software.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

I strongly recommend.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How to turn first time guests into repeat visitors

  ### 47. Great product

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2018

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

PushPay makes it easy for donors to give in multiple ways.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

The $139/month price point is a little expensive for a non-profit.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

It's a solid, trustworthy solution for maximizing donations.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating donor giving and monthly partners.

  ### 48. Manage people and tasks in one program

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

You can make team and schedule needs that people can sign up for or you can schedule them. I like that staff can leave notes on individual and profiles to share important information.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

Mobile version is not adequate for use.

**Recommendations to others considering ChurchStaq:**

You will find it makes life easier as all information is in one place and individuals can use the program from staff to members.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One place for information, donations, schedules, and more

  ### 49. Using it for the Children's Ministry

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Penny L. | Children's Ministry Administrative Coordinator, Religious Institutions, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

The ease of checking children in on Sundays

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

Making labels for mailing letters from multiple groups

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ease of checking in children. Being able to reprint name tags/parent tag on the same morning.

  ### 50. User friendly!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessie C. | Admin. Asst., Religious Institutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2017

**What do you like best about ChurchStaq?**

Once I was trained, it was easy to navigate. I loved the usefulness of being able to do everything all on one site! Scheduling, accept or decline, record attendance, etc.

**What do you dislike about ChurchStaq?**

It took awhile to get trained and know how to use everything.

**What problems is ChurchStaq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helped record attendance to see who is consistant in connect groups and also share with our leaders what is going on in each connect group.
