Planning Center Giving Reviews & Product Details

We use Planning Center as our church database - I like that Planning Center Giving is native to that platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The reporting and generosity development features are lacking and require an external platform to overcome. I also do not like how Planning Center Giving manages joint household giving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We just rolled out planning center giving as a new giving platform. We integrated it into a church that by and large did not have a high percentage of online givers. The entire suite of tools from Planning Center are, in my view, a must-have for a church of any size. Their Giving platform is beautiful, it works seamlessly, and is easy for congregation members to use — even the older ones who are tech averse. That’s the best part. It works and is easy to use. I don't love that the text-to-give option is location based and then doesn't show the organization you are logged in with. The way it is set up limits use for non-profits without a specific location. It is also poses a problem for our church if people go to more than one location in our area that uses Planning Center. Right now we have a neighbor ministry that uses PC, but not specifically the giving app. If they switch to it, it will be harder to navigate the text to give for those who attend both. Not a common situation, but it actually caused me to not want to use the text to give option for my non profit, because it will be confusing which company they are logged into if they go to the event of the non profit, as well as the church.
