Platformly is excellent as compared to the lack of functionality in an app such as MailChimp as it offers the email marketing component, as well as marketing automation and unlimited emails sent at a way lower price point. I use Platformly for their marketing automation features. You are able to set up email templates that use custom field and then strategically send them out via simple or visual workflows based on a variety of triggers such as adding users to segments or tagging them. The other part is the integrations, between zapier, webhooks, or the native integrations they have with tools like Convertful, you can update and create records to have them automatically trigger the automations. One last thing I like is that you can use their default email gateway which they manage for deliverability or you can use your own custom email gateway. They are trying to do too much, because they also offer landing pages and html email builder and form builder and link tracking and sales ecommerce reports they spread their dev time across a lot of different things. I really just want to focus on the email automation part of the product. All the other pieces are functional and work, but in my case, I like to use a best of breed product for my landing pages, forms, etc, and then integrate with Platformly. I love Platformly's advanced segmentation possibility, the topnotch automation, and even the email builder. The system is so simple to use: from the moment you log in the first time, you feel comfortable with it's UI like you were using it all your life.

One more feature that I was very excited to discover: Platformly has the link tracking. You can create the links in Tracking with all UTM data, and then just choose to include these links in your email - is that simple!

Also if you don't need advanced CRM it will work like a charm. With Platformly you can add custom fields to your contacts, score them while they "travel" trough you funnel

I only have one request that I am missing in the Platformly, its to be able to compare numbers while creating email automation.

It's connected and deeply integrated within itself making it a robust platform for so many things - metrics, automations, marketing, CRM, etc. I'm amazed at how everything just works and how seamlessly all their options flow together. I especially appreciate the ability to setup and organize multiple projects, domains, dashboards, sender profiles, payment processors, mailing lists, tags and triggers. Most services similar to Platform.ly limit domains and being that I have multiple domains and ongoing projects, I really appreciate the flexibility and ease of use. The learning curve is a little slow but that's expected with a new platform. Platform.ly offers so much that it can be overwhelming at first but if you know that going in and don't expect a quick, 30-minute setup process, then you're good as gold. We can use resources based on our contact base and budgeting restrictions. So if we want to add features for just some of our contacts, then we can do that. We're not forced to use a bunch of features we don't necessarily find helpful for particular marketing campaigns. Using Platformly was simple from the start. Getting a high rate of success with Platformly, even after using all the available software features, can be tough when starting out. The nature of our business, and probably many other businesses, requires us to always adapt, so the automated capabilities of Platformly usually only take us so far. Platform.ly is an excellent automation tool with lots of advanced marketing features. We use it to get real-time dashboard data, growth management, and user interaction tracking. With Platform.ly, we can save several hours of work each week, and use this valuable time to focus on spending time with our clients and further growing our agency.

The only downside we found was that there is no phone number only import support for contacts (email is always required). This is a feature that would work great with phone call tracking software. The tool would save us even more time if contacts were automatically imported after placing an incoming phone call from a call tracking service via a webhook or zap. I was looking for an alternative to our previous email software GetResponse, which includes an advanced marketing solution. In closer comparison, we had ActiveCampaign and HubSpot when we discovered Platformly. I was pleasantly surprised to see an all-in-one solution here that scores points in many areas. Especially the CRM view is much clearer than with GetResponse and provides more information about the activities of the contacts. Platformly has not yet reached the maturity of an ActiceCampaign that has been on the market for many years. In some places the handling is still a bit complicated, the documentation not very comprehensive yet, but the team constantly scores with improvements and new features.
