"Pipedrive is more intuitive CRMs on the market."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Pipedrive?

What I would highlight as genuinely good:

Pipeline visualization - the deal-stage view is the strength across users, and it holds up. Custom fields and card views mean the data you actually need is visible at a glance, not buried in tabs.

Automations and activity reminders - Pipedrive nudges you on stalled deals and can trigger follow-up sequences automatically, which keeps a small team from letting leads go cold.

Low learning curve - new team members are productive within days. Data entry and deal creation are fast, which matters when a team is moving quickly through inbound leads.

Team handoffs - activity logs make it easy to hand a deal between reps without losing context. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipedrive?

Where it falls short: native reporting customization is limited compared to enterprise CRMs, and advanced marketing automation is thin, this is built as a sales-first tool, not a full marketing suite. Live Chat and some premium features sit behind add-on pricing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"There are still things that could be improved, but since it's improving quickly, I would recommend."
4/5
What do you like best about Pipedrive?

That it's quickly improving and making sure that even small details are considered and improved. Also, all the new things that are being added are very useful and helps to save money on additional platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipedrive?

There are some missing things on sequences, for example it would be great if "contact" could be added to sequences instead of deal, because it would be easier to track if new deal is created and sequence needs to be finished. Because in our case potential client might fill a new request instead of communicating using the previous deal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid visual pipeline and automation, but some features feel clunky"
5/5
What do you like best about Pipedrive?

The most important things for me are making sure contacts are coming in, managing the opportunity, and tying everything back to the account. Pipedrive helped with that and ensured we were able to monitor progress and keep selling opportunities moving forward. I also like the visual pipeline because with some other CRMs it isn’t always clear what’s happening or how information is displayed. The workflow automation saved substantial time. The tasks also gave us the ability to onboard more easily and better support customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipedrive?

Some of these features often feel clunky and, at least right now, they’re not totally worth it. The setup was a bit of a pain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Features are Easy-ish"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Pipedrive?

I like the online interface and the ease of adding tasks. It's nice that I can also voice message the notes area. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipedrive?

I wish there were more automated actions that I could control. I wish it worked with Claude to help me better manage a way to talk to my phone and have it enter notes and information I want. I wish there was a visual todo list board that I could access on the screen. The calendar view is not as ADHD friendly as I would like. It would be great to color code on the calendar as well. But that isn't an option. There are some interface elements that could be better and more intuitive. It's a pain to have to enter an account number for a new client when I am in the field. "PERFECT"
5/5
What do you like best about Pipedrive?

What I like best about Pipedrive is that it is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. The interface is simple and intuitive, making it easy to manage leads, track deals, follow up with clients, and keep everything organised in one place. I also like how clearly it shows the sales pipeline, which makes it easy to see the progress of each opportunity and know what needs to be actioned next. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipedrive?

One thing I dislike about Pipedrive is that some of the more advanced features and customisation options can take a little time to understand. While the platform is very user-friendly overall, certain functions could be made more straightforward, especially for new users. I also feel that some automation and reporting features could be more flexible and easier to customise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Configurable and adaptable platform for any business."
4/5
What do you like best about Pipedrive?

Visual Pipelines: The Kanban-style interface gives a clear, instant picture of where every lead and deal stands in the sales process.

Ease of Use: The clean design requires minimal onboarding and avoids the clunky complexity of legacy tools like Salesforce.

Time-Saving Automations: Built-in workflow triggers and activity reminders handle routine repetitive tasks smoothly.

Centralised Integrations: Native syncing with email providers, calendars, and third-party apps keeps all prospect communication in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipedrive?

Limited Reporting: Standard reports and custom dashboards lack advanced analytics, which frustrates teams that need deep data segmentation.

Cost of Add-ons: Important features like live chat, web forms, and advanced email campaigns require paid add-ons (LeadBooster or Campaigns), which increase the total price.

Storing extensive customer history, notes, or non-standard client details is harder compared to larger platforms like Salesforce. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Pipedrive CRM Review"
3/5
What do you like best about Pipedrive?

What I like best about Pipedrive is its simplicity and visibility. It makes it very easy to understand where opportunities sit within the sales pipeline, what the next action is, and where deals may be getting stuck. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipedrive?

The main frustration with Pipedrive is that reporting and data segmentation can sometimes feel more restrictive than they should be. Once you start trying to build more detailed reports across things like location, deal status, ownership, source and customer type, it can take more work than expected to get exactly the view you want.

There are also areas where data hygiene relies heavily on users entering information consistently, so without good internal processes the CRM can become messy fairly quickly. Some of the more advanced automation and reporting features can also feel a little limited compared with more enterprise-focused CRM platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jorge R. of Pipedrive

Hi Neville,

Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback!

We’re glad to hear that you value Pipedrive’s simplicity and visibility, particularly when it comes to understanding where opportunities sit in the pipeline, prioritising deals, and keeping follow-ups on track.

We also appreciate your thoughtful feedback around reporting, data segmentation, data hygiene, and advanced automation. We understand how important it is to have flexible reporting and reliable data as your processes become more complex, and we’ll share your comments with the relevant teams.

Best regards,

"Pipedrive CRM for Roofing Sales"
5/5
What do you like best about Pipedrive?

Pipedrive is excellent for tracking deal data and activities. The activities feature, especially when set up for a specific pipeline and paired with automations, turns our sales process into clear step-by-step stages. You always know where a deal stands and what the next action is, so nothing falls through the cracks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipedrive?

The email feature is clunky and doesn't compare well to Outlook. Filter setup could also be more user-friendly. Building an activity filter, for example, means working with field names whose behavior isn't obvious, so it takes a fair amount of trial and error to get the result you want. Clearer explanations of what each option actually does would help a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Employee that uses this program to report parts and labor to my boss."
2.5/5
What do you like best about Pipedrive?

I like how I can put parts and services into the work order column without my boss being able to touch it until the job is complete. There is absolutely nothing else I use besides the work order column and the ready to be billed column. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipedrive?

The excessive amount of pop-ups that I have to close before I get to doing the one simple task I need to do. I feel most of this program was designed for an unorganized person. Instead of taking the time to fill out the leads and calls, I can just take the time to process the lead right away, call them, and get the sale. I have noticed my other coworker has leads that are over 1000 days old, so either he's not using this properly or he is not following up with the sale. But SERIOUSLY GET RID OF THE POP UPS!!!!!!!!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jorge R. of Pipedrive

Hi Brent,

Thank you for sharing your detailed and candid feedback!

We’re glad to hear that the work order and ready-to-be-billed columns are useful for your workflow and help keep excessive billing down. We appreciate you explaining how you use Pipedrive in your day-to-day process.

We’re sorry to hear that the number of pop-ups is getting in the way of completing simple tasks. We understand how frustrating that can be when you’re trying to work efficiently, and we’ll make sure your feedback is shared with the relevant team.

Best regards,

"User Friendly But Lacks Critical Features and Development"
1.5/5
What do you like best about Pipedrive?

Easy user interface for agents to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipedrive?

1. Activity Organization Inside Deals - Inside the deal window, there’s no way to organize or filter activities by type. Instead, you’re presented with one long, sloppy list of every activity that has ever happened on the deal. There should be a better way to separate or filter calls (inbound/outbound), emails, notes, sms or other activity types.

2. Leads and Deals Have Inconsistent Functionality - Leads and deals share the same custom fields, but leads lack much of the functionality available to deals.

For example: Math functions can be performed on deals but not leads. Deals have a changelog, but leads do not. This results in agents stealing leads and other agents editing lead information with no way of tracing who did it.

3. Automations Are Extremely Basic

- The automation system is very limited and does not have proper branching.

- Automations can only be triggered by a single action, which often forces you to create duplicate workflows that perform the exact same function.

- For example, if you have a "Scheduled" stage, you need two identical automations: One for when a deal is created directly in the Scheduled stage and another for when an existing deal is moved into the Scheduled stage.

4. The Platform Is Designed Around Manual Activities Instead of Automated Cadences - The system feels heavily designed around agents manually creating activities rather than businesses running structured, automated follow-up cadences. This makes building even relatively simple sales or follow-up sequences unnecessarily complicated.

5. No Way to Add or Remove Someone From Another Automation - There's no way to add or remove someone from another automation. Because of that, you have to repeatedly check the lead’s status before practically every action in a workflow.

For example, say you have a "New Lead" cadence that works like this:

Day 1: Create Call 1 → Lead doesn’t answer → Send an email and schedule Call 2 → Call 2 is marked complete → Send another email and schedule Call 3. If the lead is no longer active or has moved to another stage, there’s no way to simply remove them from the original automation. Instead, you have to add a condition such as “If lead still exists” before every subsequent action. Otherwise, the workflow will continue creating Call 3, sending additional emails, and performing the rest of the scheduled actions even though that lead should no longer be receiving them.

6. Custom Address Fields Do Not Include ZIP Codes - Custom address fields use the Google Maps API to prepopulate an address while you type, but the resulting address does not include the ZIP code. Developers have previously stated that this is simply “how the Google API works.” However, I was able to code a solution to retrieve the ZIP code in less than three minutes.

7. Inconsistencies Across the Platform and API - There are numerous inconsistencies throughout both the platform and the API.

For example: Some API endpoints require V1. Others require V2. Data is returned in inconsistent formats depending on the endpoint. Similar objects and functions behave differently throughout the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jorge R. of Pipedrive

Hi Billy,

Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback!

We’re glad to hear that you find Pipedrive’s interface easy for agents to navigate and that entering data is straightforward. We appreciate you taking the time to highlight specific areas where the experience could be improved.

Your feedback around activity organization, differences between Leads and Deals, automation flexibility and branching, automated cadences, custom address fields, and platform/API consistency is very valuable. We understand how these limitations can make more complex workflows harder to manage, and we’ll share your detailed comments with the relevant teams.

Best regards,

Pipedrive Team
