What do you like best about PeopleGuru HCM?

PeopleGuru has streamlined a lot of my payroll processes and it is nice the time keeping registers automatically for employees.

It is nice having one support person to deal wtih as they are intune with your business nature and your primary needs.

What do you dislike about PeopleGuru HCM?

I sometimes feel like the system can be difficult to navigate for things that I'm looking for. I understand some of the nuances because of spending time in the system, however, there are some features I believe the system is capable of, but the ease of use isn't always there.

Support is available, however, the support ticketing system can sometimes be cumbersome. I spend a majority of my time in the platform and in my email. I sometimes wish there were other support options that didn't involve the ticketing system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PeopleGuru HCM?

The knowledge PeopleGuru staff has, not just on the system, but also with state/local regulations, org. structures, building integrations with outside vendors (COBRA), and typically very quick responses to support related matters. Implmentation team was especially knowlegeable - they seemd know the payroll side, tax side, and were even familiar with back end configurations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PeopleGuru HCM?

Limited customization with Time & Labor Management in accordance with our company policies (i.e. Half Hour paid lunch OR one hour unpaid - system can only hadle one, not both), limited customized reporting on payroll data, and the App doesn't have the same functionality as the web version. What do you like best about PeopleGuru HCM?

We in my organisation, are using propleGuru. The one thing that I really like about it is the auto payroll feature. This has saved a lot of time for the HR team. For my team i liked that bu using that I can manage the timings and shifts of my team members that used to be a big challenge for me. I now have a good visibility of everyone's availablity and so i can manage my resource better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PeopleGuru HCM?

Some features are a little hard to understand- like taxing etc are a little difficult to learn. Maybe we will get a knack of it by using it continiously Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

PeopleGuru allows for us to customize our platform to fit our business needs. Having a robust backend for our leadership team helps provide insite into labor, employee needs, and compliance requirements. While the employee interface keeps it simple for a practical use. What do you dislike about PeopleGuru HCM?

The implementation process was well thought out, however as things often do in business fully completing all acpects of the development became an issue. This resulted in a rush to get complete and left us without all modules completed. The Adhoc reporting feature is a incrediable tool, however it is cumbersome to develop your wanted reports. What do you like best about PeopleGuru HCM?

The performance review process. Once we learned how it works correctly.

Payroll Module.

Having Cheryn be our rep, she has helped us learn so much in the short period of time she has been assigned to our account.

Like we have a leave module, however we have not been shown how to work with it.

What do you dislike about PeopleGuru HCM?

Having to create a ticket for all and any questions I have, if I am not able to figure it out on my own. I have worked with other HRIS programs and was able to figure out things.

What do you like best about PeopleGuru HCM?

I really like working with Bruce. It's nice to email and call someone and they respond super promptly and get done what I need done. I can always count on Bruce to fix or help me with anything that I have issues on. I really like knowing that I have someone I can rely on to get our payroll done each week. What do you dislike about PeopleGuru HCM?

You are one of the more expensive payroll companies that I got quotes from (by several thousand). We went with you because you guys did our time keeping system so it made sense to keep everything together. Besides Bruce, I don't see the value. I don't really like your portal/website. I find it difficult to use and almost seems antiquated. The reports that you have on there aren't really helpful to what I need and confusing as I think I should be getting one thing, but something else pops out.

Also, I found the whole changing of the time clocks really frustrating and how you handled it was very poor. During this time, I tried to call other memebers of PeopleGuru and they won't answer their phones or call me back. Sometimes I just need to talk to soneone on the phone and not do this whole email/tickets thing.

Even the whole implentation period was annoying. I was sold that you guys would handle the 401k transfer, but no one got it set up during the implementation period so we had to do it after, and it took months. This was months it could have been done during the implementation period.

And I don't like how you do your tax calculations. In my old system, when a person selected that their spouse works, my system had a tax table for that and took out more taxes just based on the person selecting that option. When I select that option in your system, nothing changes unless I put in how much my spouse makes. When I put in how much my spouse makes, you take out signifiantly more money then what is needed. What do you like best about PeopleGuru HCM?

The support team is my saving grace. I wasn't included in all the trainings when we brought People Guru on board and Pat and her team have been outstanding in providing me with any support need. They have always been willing to jump on a call and help me through a process, provide information regarding compliance issues or resolve last minute issues to get payroll processed timely. I would be lost without the support team.

I love the online onboarding component. It makes my life so much easier to send an employee a link and have all their data entered by the employee directly.

Being able to back track and make corrections mid payroll process is easy and very useful when you have several last minute subnmissions like us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PeopleGuru HCM?

I struggle with reporting. Finding the right report or being able to create custom reports is a bit of a challenge.

We don't use the expense module. We started to but with the difficulties of getting hard copies out of the system for auditing purposes we discontinued. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PeopleGuru HCM?

We like using all aspects of PG. Onboarding, Time & Attendace and Payroll.

It is very user friendly system. Having eveything in one location is extremely time saving.

The customer support has improved every year. The portal is vital to directing questions to the appropreate team.

I enjoy the relationship I have built with Pat and Rosie (in the beginning) with HR questions.

What do you like best about PeopleGuru HCM?

I have used many payroll programs over the course of my career. I run a Bi-Weekly payroll and PeopleGuru is very user friendly and provides all the information I would need for reports and audits. They are always ready to help whenever I have a question or need help with a problem, even though I am on the West Coast and they are on the East Coast. They have very friendly knowledgable staff working for them. The implimentation to their system was seemless, even when we had to change corporate names, they did everything.
