What do you like best about PayHOA?

We’ve used PayHOA to manage our self-run HOA since 2019, and its value has only grown. The platform is powerful, intuitive, and reasonably priced, with subscription costs increasing minimally while new features regularly improve the value proposition. Their support and leadership teams are proactive, responsive, and consistently seek user feedback. Homeowner support is easy thanks to clear guides. It was easy to implement, integrates with multiple platforms. PayHOA is a weekly resource for me as HOA President. Our overall experience has been excellent. PayHOA provides great value, responsive support, and ongoing improvements that make managing a self-run HOA efficient and stress-free. It has allowed our board and homeowners to stay organized, connected, and supported without the high cost of outside management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PayHOA?

The only drawback we’ve noticed is that uploaded logos appear low-resolution in generated reports. We would also like to see more homeowner control over text and email alert subscriptions, ideally with topic-based preferences (e.g., newsletters, events, safety updates). What problems is PayHOA solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our board is using PayHOA to budget, balance transactions, invoice homeowners, communicate with homeowners via mail, email, text, and automated voice messaging, manage architectural and general requests, and store documents. Wow, thank you for this detailed review. Six years with PayHOA is a long time, and we're grateful you've stuck with us as we've grown and improved.

It's clear you're using the platform to its full potential, from budgeting and invoicing to multi-channel communication and the resale documents integration. That's exactly what we built PayHOA to do: bring everything together so self-managed boards can operate efficiently without paying for outside management.

We also really appreciate the specific feedback on logo resolution in reports and homeowner control over alert preferences. Those are the kinds of details that help us keep improving, and we'll pass them along to our team.

Thanks for being part of the PayHOA community for all these years. We don't take that loyalty lightly.

What do you like best about PayHOA?

The ability to send mass emails, texts, and messages is very helpful. Email tracking and auditing are useful, and the financial integration works well. I also like that residents can pay online using multiple payment methods. Managing violations is straightforward, and saving custom templates is easy. Pricing is reasonable especially when compared to other similiar software suites. Support is good so far, onboarding was helpful. I am not pleased with the AI intelligence. It is helpful at times, but is often wrong more than it is right. It seems that Payhoa, once up and running, will take some workload off of the volunteer board. What do you dislike about PayHOA?

I've found a few bugs and limitations that should have been addressed long ago by Payhoa. There should be conditional logic ability when setting up request forms. Premade templates are not worth using. There are too many help videos online that all cover the same things by different people. There is no uniformity in the training videos. What problems is PayHOA solving and how is that benefiting you?

cutting down on time spent doing HOA business. Easier to keep track of violations and other HOA tasks. Previously we would have to go to excell sheets to look something or someone up, not we can search easily on a mobile device, etc by name, address, etc. It helps me get to know which residents live where and who is in the household, which actually makes a better personal connection for all involved. Really appreciate the review. It's great to hear the core of the platform is working well for you, and that searching by name or address has replaced the old Excel hunt. The part about getting to know who lives where and building stronger connections across the community is exactly what we hope PayHOA will make possible.

We hear you on the cons. We've got a lot coming on the AI side, so that experience should keep getting better. The request form logic you'd like to see is helpful feedback we're sharing with our product folks. If you've got specifics on the bugs you've run into, I'd love to hear them.
