What do you like best about Patron Management?

PatronManager has plenty of customizable features to ensure that you and your team can maximize your subscription. It not only helps with tracking but also reporting. I reference reports pulled from PatronManager on a daily basis and regularly created new reports to see actual pictures being painted by our orgs data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Patron Management?

Customazation can sometimes equal confusion. If you are new to this software it's difficult to learn the ins and outs of your orgs settings/permissions. It definitely has a big learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Patron Management?

PatronManager is built on SalesForce, this means that there are several excentricities in the platform that are entirely counterproductive for ticketing needs. Patron accounts were complicated, creating new evets felt tedious, and the overall sales experience on the backend was slow and unresponsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Worst Experience That I've Had With Any Software Ever"
What do you like best about Patron Management?

The fact that they offer 2 step verification for login and the fact that they make me change my password regularly. That makes the software feel secure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Patron Management?

Almost everything. I have a doctorate degree and got my very first computer in 1982. This is easily the hardest to use most non-intuitive piece of software that I've ever attempted to use.

The ticketing is clunky and the customization seems limited, but most of my issues are on the donor side. Everything is so complicated and the support articles are mostly useless and trying to get in touch with someone takes forever. Reporting is ridiculously difficult, and it should be much much easier to build dashboards. I spent almost 8 hours one day just trying to build a dashboard that I wanted and just finally gave up.

I find it hard to believe as well that there are more features built in to help you clean or organize the system. It is also quite aggravating that as much as PM costs that it seems like the only way you can ever get what you need is to buy another package or addon. The whole thing just feels like a racket to keep you buying more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Patron Management?

Everything is all in one. I could sell tickets, sell subscriptions, receive donations and manager the donor database all in one place. Prior to switching to PatronManager we were using three separate platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Patron Management?

Our orchestra has a lot of packages and prices. Patron Manager can incorporate all of these variations so that it is easy to take orders and concentrate on selling instead of technology. Not only do they have a good on boarding process and work tirelessly to get all the kinks worked out, but the support is ongoing. We started with some basic ticketing and donation features and now that we are more comfortable with that, we are getting into campaigns and more effective reporting and recording ROI right in the system and they are helping us with that as well. What do you dislike about Patron Management?

Some staff dislike that they need to take time to watch a training video to learn new things (through the help tab right on the home screen). But this is part of the beauty and cost savings of it. It will take them the same amount of time to learn something whether they watch a video or have someone show them the process BUT you don't have to pay extra hours to staff to do the training AND the video is always there (and updated) if they forget something. The only other thing is that I wish the support for non-urgent matters was just a little faster. They promise to get an answer within two weeks and it has always been within a week, but sometimes I wish it was a little shorter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how PatronManager tracks donor histories in terms of prior giving, and then pairs that information with what performances they've attended and when they were most recently contacted for a gift. What do you like best about Patron Management?

Everything is in one place. It's easy to navigate, plus you can do pretty much everything you need to do in regards to ticketing, donations, and maintaining your database. I've used it in several companies, and it made a huge difference to our fundraising efforts, because we could see what the patron came to and what he liked. Totally opens up a new dialogue when you can track that information in one place. I also liked the ticketing service and the eblast function. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Patron Management?

It's not as robust as something like Raiser's Edge. However, I don't think every company needs something as complicated and multi-faceted as RE. PatronManager is great for for mid-size to smaller organizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
