## Oversight Reviews
 ### 1. Clean, Intuitive Interface That’s Easy to Navigate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ANNA G. | Global T&E Process Owner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

The system is easy to navigate, with a clean, intuitive interface. It’s a much better option than the previous tool we used.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

Compared with our previous system, we’re missing the ability to set review thresholds for expense-type subcategories, which is proving problematic. In addition, it doesn’t check itemization or provide translation. Those features were included in the basic package in our previous tool, but here we would need to pay extra. Access is also subject to an additional charge, which was not the case with Appzen.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It reduces the time we spend reviewing expense reports, which is cost-efficient. It also helps us focus our attention on what really matters, instead of reviewing items that don’t add value.

 ### 2. Customizable Audit Precision with Reliable Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

We like Oversight for its audit risk model customization. We can customize what should or should not be flagged at a granular level, which helps the team pinpoint risky areas while reducing manual workload. I also appreciate the good and timely support throughout the implementation process. It helps us target the risky areas for a manual audit and offers more risk categories. It's great that we can choose to auto-approve or auto-reject exceptions flagged by certain risk models. The overall accuracy is better with Oversight comparing to the old tool we used.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

I've been having some issues with data completeness when it flows from Concur into Oversight. Some expense reports were left as 'pending audit' and weren't actioned into Oversight until we reported the issue. Also, there have been duplicated exceptions flagged by Oversight due to system bugs. I think Oversight should have a system to monitor these issues and be the first to identify and report them, rather than us having to catch them. The initial setup wasn't easy, and it took a while for us to fine-tune the insights. However, it is totally understandable as we've been asking for customizations and descopes. It definitely worth the time to deep dive in to the insights while still in implementation.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Oversight for custom audit risk models, helping my team focus on risky areas and reduce manual work with auto approvals or rejections for exceptions.

**Official Response from MACIE SMITH:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience! We really appreciate the time and thought you put into your review. We’re glad Oversight is helping your team focus on the right risks and reduce manual effort—and it’s great to hear the accuracy and flexibility are a step up from your previous solution.

We understand how frustrating it is when data doesn’t flow cleanly or when issues come up that require extra manual follow-up. That’s not the experience we want for our clients. We’ll share this feedback with our product and engineering teams so they can dig into what’s happening and help prevent it going forward. Your input genuinely helps us improve.

Thanks again for the partnership—we value the collaboration and appreciate you flagging this.

 ### 3. Exceptional Automation and Support Make Oversight Indispensable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishal G. | Process Lead - Concur Expense Audit, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

I appreciate Oversight’s robust automation and system-driven controls, which consistently deliver a high level of accuracy and reliability. The platform significantly reduces manual effort, minimizes errors, and enhances compliance through timely and intelligent validations. I also value the responsiveness of the Oversight team—any new requirements or enhancements are carefully considered, prioritized, and implemented effectively. This proactive approach to continuous improvement makes Oversight a dependable and efficient tool for managing exception reviews and overall process governance.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

One area that could be improved is the handling of Discop’ed Related Exceptions. Currently, the system tags only one exception for auditor review, while the remaining exceptions tied to individual expense lines are closed automatically (DRE). This approach needs further review and validation. Ideally, only the expense lines without any exceptions should be auto-closed (DRE), while all exception-related lines should remain open for proper auditor review. Revisiting this logic would help ensure more accurate and thorough exception handling.

We have been waiting a long time for AI detection to be implemented for our APAC region, which is still on hold due to APAC region tax requirements.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oversight provides more accurate and efficient analysis of duplicate expenses, both within the same employee’s submissions and across different employees, which greatly reduces the risk of duplicate reimbursements. Additionally, its vendor validation and keyword-based checks are extremely helpful in identifying potential issues, ensuring compliance, and improving the overall quality of expense review. These capabilities save time, enhance accuracy, and support stronger internal controls.”

**Official Response from MACIE SMITH:**

> Thank you for such a thoughtful and detailed review. We’re glad to hear that Oversight’s automation and system-driven controls are helping reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and support strong compliance—and we truly appreciate the recognition of our team’s responsiveness. Partner feedback plays a big role in how we prioritize and deliver enhancements, so it means a lot to hear that reflected in your experience.

We also appreciate you calling out the current behavior around Discovered Related Exceptions. Your perspective on keeping all exception-related lines open for auditor review is a valid one, and this is exactly the kind of practical feedback we rely on as we continue refining exception logic to better support real-world audit workflows.

Regarding AI detection in APAC, we understand the frustration with the delay. Regional tax requirements add complexity, but we know how important consistent coverage is across geographies. This remains an active area of focus for us, and we appreciate your patience as we work to deliver a solution that meets both regulatory needs and your expectations.

Thanks again for the partnership and for taking the time to share such constructive feedback.

 ### 4. Empowers Focused Audits and Streamlines Organization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer G. | Manager, Corporate Cards and Expenses, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

This tool enables us to concentrate on the most critical audits, helping us identify significant policy issues that need to be addressed and reinforced through education. It also provides a centralized location for storing our communications and completed work, making it easier to keep everything organized.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

Some parts of the software are still in the process of "learning," which can make certain insights harder to utilize because of the presence of false positives.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool is effective for identifying policy misuse and fraud. It also assists in refining company policies, educating employees, saving money, and maintaining a strong focus on risk management.

**Official Response from MACIE SMITH:**

> Thanks for sharing your experience—we really appreciate it. We’re glad Oversight is helping your team focus time and energy on the audits that matter most, and that having everything centralized has made it easier to stay organized and consistent in your follow-up and education efforts.

We also hear you on the false positives. Our models are designed to surface potential risk, but we know insights are only useful if they’re clear and actionable. Feedback like this helps us continue refining how Oversight learns and improves, so it delivers stronger signal with less noise over time.

Thanks again for being a partner—we appreciate the opportunity to keep learning alongside you.

 ### 5. Intuitive Risk Detection and Anomaly Insights in Expense Data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

What I’ve found most valuable about Oversight is its ability to identify potential risks and anomalies in expense data. The platform is also very intuitive to use, and it supports different personalized solutions depending on what you need.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

There are many ways to summarize your research. This isn’t really a negative point, since Oversight cooperates with multiple partners.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It stays focused on what actually matters. The ability to identify vendors through MC codes has helped us improve expense categorization and prevent potential fraud.

 ### 6. Empowers Smart Decision-Making with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alonso A.

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

I use Oversight to identify risky transactions and ensure policy compliance. I really like Oversight's friendly interface and how it helps with big amounts of data. The interface helps us work efficiently and make smart decisions by reviewing and downloading data. The initial setup was very easy and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

I consider that a mailbox with replies from employees could be a very valuable improvement. With a panel menu that contains emails sent and replied to the employees. This feature will help to give follow up to cases that require it.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Oversight to identify risky transactions quickly with its risk model, ensuring policy compliance without reviewing all transactions. It enables smart decision-making by analyzing large datasets efficiently through a friendly interface.

**Official Response from MACIE SMITH:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your experience—we really appreciate it. We’re glad to hear Oversight is helping you quickly identify risky transactions, work efficiently with large volumes of data, and make informed decisions through an interface that’s easy to use from day one.

We also appreciate the product feedback around adding a space to manage employee email replies and follow-ups. That’s a thoughtful suggestion, and we agree that better visibility into case-related communications enhances the experience for both you and the rest of the organization. We’ll be sure to share this feedback with our product team for consideration as we continue to evolve the platform.

Thanks again for the review and for being a partner—we appreciate your input as we keep improving Oversight.

 ### 7. Oversight Transformed Our Expense Auditing Process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

Before we started using Oversight, we were only able to audit around 10% of our expense reports. Now, with Oversight, I feel much more assured that any policy misinterpretations are being caught and addressed promptly. Oversight scans a far wider range of expenses and employee patterns than our individual auditors could manage, allowing it to identify issues before reimbursements are made.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

The main drawbacks of Oversight stem from the way its AI interprets data. For instance, it sometimes flags expenses as potential duplicates even when the date, merchant, and receipt are all different. Additionally, the system may flag a 'suspicious keyword' that isn't actually part of the expense, but rather appears in an advertisement on the receipt, such as those from grocery stores or pharmacies.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oversight has been instrumental in helping us detect potential policy violations more rapidly and achieve wider compliance throughout our organization. While we are still in the initial phases of implementation and updating our internal procedures, we are already noticing daily improvements thanks to Oversight's program. Furthermore, requesting refinements is straightforward, which makes the program adaptable to a variety of different requirements.

**Official Response from MACIE SMITH:**

> Thank you for taking the time to write a review—and for working with us. It’s great to hear Oversight helped you move beyond spot-checking a small slice of reports and feel more confident issues are being caught before money goes out the door.

We also really appreciate the callout on the false flags. Things like duplicate alerts when the details are actually different, or “suspicious keywords” pulled from ads on receipts, can be frustrating. Our goal is to help you catch real issues early without creating extra noise, and feedback like this helps us keep improving.

Thanks again for being an engaged partner—we’re committed to continuously improving the experience and outcomes for your team.

 ### 8. Uncovers Hidden Patterns and Streamlines Global Expense Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Aviation & Aerospace | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

It allows us to identify patterns a human could not. It allows us to review all of our expenses processed globally

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

without refinement the number of exceptions can be overwhelming

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating email reminders that previously required manual mail merges

 ### 9. Oversight AI Detect - Amazing one-stop solution tool for all expense audit requirements!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anand B. | Associate Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

It's not just any extension but a complete tool with all solutions for T&E expense audits. I like auto-allocation of daily volume, email communication feature, and insights based on the parameters and thresholds

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

As of now, nothing major, but would like to have GST Countries incorporated in the parameters for GST Bifurcation related findings.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Locating the major risks with high dollar value and also capturing the other insights in post-payment audit module.

**Official Response from MACIE SMITH:**

> Thank you for the review—we really appreciate it. We’re glad Oversight is serving as a one-stop solution for your T&E audits and helping your team focus on high-value risks through automation, insights, and built-in communication tools.

Thanks as well for the suggestion around incorporating GST countries into the parameters for GST bifurcation findings. That’s helpful feedback, and we’ll be sure to share it with our product team as they continue to enhance regional and tax-specific capabilities.

We appreciate the partnership and your thoughtful input as we continue to improve Oversight.

 ### 10. Money left on the table

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

Our account managers are on point with knowing the product and/or knowing how to help promote the power of the product. There is a willingness to ensure we have any data or resources needed for business cases and such. There is a commitment to ensuring they are doing right by the customer.

The appreciation events hosted at Fusion for their clients is done in a tasteful and appropriate manner. A dinner at the restaurant in the convention center showed there was a respect of our personal time and having food ready was a nice touch!

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

Nothing to add in this section at this time.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The amount of opportunity for spend that needs to be reviewed. It puts data to the comments of "people are spending too much on teh wrong things" or "we have a problem with people not using the corporate cards properly" The data allows actual dollar amounts, expense types, employee names to be used for exact scenarios in question.

 ### 11. Uncovering insights Concur misses & driving streamlined review and compliance

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

The solution proved easy to deploy across the organization. Oversight provides visibility into risks and anomalies that are not effectively identified in Concur, such as receipts reused across employees, duplicate submissions and other compliance related exceptions. Additionally the tool contributes meaningfully to employee education and makes the review process more streamlined.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

There is opportunity to improve the accuracy of receipt recognition and keyword-based detection. Some duplicate cases are not consistently identified. Missing the audit trail timestamps for SLA calculations.
Initial customer support through Concur was challenging, but improved significantly.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oversight addresses several key challenges in expense and compliance management that are not easily detected by Concur. These include duplicate or reused receipts, policy violations, and other anomalous transactions. By automatically flagging these issues, Oversight reduces manual audit workload, increases accuracy and supports employee education. The platform provides policy insights, deliver actionable alerts and improves operational efficiency.

 ### 12. Excellent software with first class client support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

Oversight has taken the hassle out of manually auditing expense report. Even before my Company custom configured the software, to meet our individual needs, the program was great. Now that my Company has added keywords and dollar thresholds that are specific to my Company's industry, the program is excellent. In addition to Oversight being an amazing software, our Client Sucess Manager is always available to meet our needs. My Company does not have to worry about issues because if they should arise our Client Success Manager will resolve them immediately. In short, Oversight has transformed my Audit Teams productivity for the better and placed us on the pathway to success.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

Oversight is highly configurable but unfortunately the configuration requests must be initiated by opening a support ticket. Thankfully, our Client Success Manager is able to open the ticket for us if we send her an email with all the details.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oversight is our auditing software for travel and entertainment expenses. It is saving my Teams time by flagging high risk expenses for us.

 ### 13. Good but still a long way to go

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

It is dynamic and there is an option for bulk closing

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

Itemized Receipt Detection: The system does not currently distinguish between valid itemized receipts and generic vouchers, often accepting the latter as valid documentation.

Lack of Country-Specific Configuration: There is no functionality to configure rules by country, which complicates compliance across regions. This limitation requires additional manual steps in the audit process to meet varying local requirements.

Attendee Validation: The system lacks validation checks for attendees, such as detecting duplicates or verifying that HCP expense types include appropriate HCP attendees.

Window Limitation: It is not possible to open multiple Oversight (OVS) windows simultaneously, which can hinder multitasking and workflow efficiency.

Performance Issues: System loading times can be lengthy, making transaction processing time-consuming and frustrating for users.

Accuracy of Transaction Amounts: Potential Impact (USD) updates have made the transaction amount reporting in accurate, also wish that there was a Transaction Amount (USD) so this wouldn't be a problem.

Lack of Report Name Search Functionality: The system does not currently allow users to search transactions by report name, making it more difficult to locate specific reports efficiently.

Limited Display Options When Filtering by Report ID: When filtering by expense report, there is no option to display additional useful columns such as the report name or submission date, which limits the ability to quickly contextualize results.

Limited Value of Dashboard Functionality: The current dashboard features do not provide meaningful insights or actionable information for our audit operations.

Limitations on Email Template Configuration: This has been a significant pain point. It is unclear during the implementation that in the future this would have an additional cost, personally I think the ability to configure email templates should be standard functionality available to any of your clients for free or change it, so the program administrators are able to perform these changes.

Summary Feature for Non-Compliant Notifications: The summarize emailing function does not work when notifying employees about multiple non-compliant transactions. As a result, we are forced to open each exception line individually and manually copy and paste the corresponding tables, which is highly time-consuming and inefficient.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Although faulty, we are able to audit 100% of our reports.

 ### 14. Good Fraud Detection, But Setup Hindered

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paolo G.

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

I like the simplicity of using Oversight.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

I don't like reading and analyzing invoices/receipts. Another problem was that the system was cloned from a previous system that does not reflect our business processes and policies.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Oversight to identify possible fraudulent transactions or those not in line with company policy.

**Official Response from MACIE SMITH:**

> Thank you for sharing your feedback—we appreciate you taking the time to do so. We’re glad to hear you find Oversight simple to use and that we’re helping you identify transactions that may not align with company policy.

We’re sorry to hear about the concerns around how the system reflects your business processes. Oversight platforms aren’t cloned by default; each client environment is configured based on best-practice settings informed by your data and initial requirements, and then refined collaboratively over time. That said, we understand how important it is that the system accurately reflects your policies and workflows.

We’d welcome the opportunity to review your current configuration together and make any adjustments needed to better align with your processes. Thank you again for the feedback—it helps us ensure Oversight continues to meet your needs.

 ### 15. Seamless and patient implementation with support throughout the process

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

The program achieves audit automation without drawing too many conclusions in the process. Depending on the organizational complexity, it amplifies the effect of the policies in place and uses common logic and knowledge to easily distinguish between a number of different scenarios.
It is a tool which enables the administrators to maximize their efforts when performing audit reviews on a daily basis.
The implementation process went really well, with multiple scenarios being discussed in the process and the team making additional efforts to understand the business and our organizational setup as best as they could.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

Given the system complexity, one thing to look into would be to simplify the learning material and move more towards interactive methods.
Many organizations are yet to make a "leap of faith" with the AI, so another thing would be to improve (or maybe further clarify) the customer support in the post-implementation period, to manage the expectations on both fronts better.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We moved from almost non-existent Audit process to near-100% automated one
The sheer volume of reports processed reduces the strain on the Auditing team
Enforcing the policies and educating employees how to follow the processes
Bringing additional insight and understanding of what the employees are actually spending on

 ### 16. Great experience with implementing oversight

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

The reporting aspect of oversight will be an invaluable asset for our company. Being able to put numbers to information to more accurately show what we are spending money on will drive needed change in policies. The implementation process was quick and easy, and we had a very smooth integration.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

I would love to see the comments section available with an exclusion. A lot of explanations are given in the comments section that make a cost justifiable, and so we have to switch between oversight and concur to see if there are comments with the expense.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have not previously had reporting capabilities that take our policies into consideration. Being able to put numbers to information will be very valuable to the company and drive change in policies.

 ### 17. Continuous Analytics Updates Keep Us Ahead of Travel Risks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

Continuous updates to analytics that help us stay ahead of the risks with out travel spend

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

Support team takes too long to resolve issues and does not always resolve issues correctly the first time.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improper payments; business courtesies

**Official Response from MACIE SMITH:**

> Thank you for the feedback! We’re glad to hear the continuous analytics updates are helping you stay ahead of travel-related risk. Keeping controls current as spend patterns change is a key part of how Oversight is designed to support your program.

We also appreciate you calling out your experience with support. Delays or having to revisit an issue aren’t the experience we aim to deliver, and this feedback is important. We’ll be sharing it with our support leadership so we can improve response times and ensure issues are resolved correctly the first time.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your perspective. We value the partnership and the opportunity to keep improving.

 ### 18. The oversight toll has been the game changer from the beginning for our company

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olesia K. | Business Support and Data Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

The communication with our Success Manager is very prompt and smooth, which is key success factor. The company is really up to date with technology and innovations offering, so there are space for improvements always. The interface itself is very intuitive and well organized.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

The configuration is rather global, that makes it hard to customize the settings when you are having a big global company to audit T&E expenses.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

to detect fraud and company money missuse.

**Official Response from Steve Wagner:**

> Olesia - thank you so much for your review! We really appreciate your feedback and we'll continue to work with you on the customization concerns you highlighted to make your experience as best as is possible.

 ### 19. I think it is a great tool for reviewing expense compliance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

I like that it applies logic to the review instead of looking a details in a specific entry. It looks at trends/who the vendors are/timing, etc to make sure it is a reasonable expense instead of just acknowledging the amount is under a certain limit.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

We are a consulting firm and have a lot of approved client related exceptions that get flagged. The team is great to help us customize the tool, but this still distorts our results some.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are helping us with compliance to our Travel and Expense policy and we are starting to recoup costs of items that were done outside of policy.

 ### 20. Great partners during the implementation

**Reviewed by:** Julio R. | Accounts Payable Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

I love the fact that it's intuitive, easy to use, and you can email directly from the tool as well as track emails

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

Reporting could be better and how to export the reports could use some enhancements

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oversight helps with catching people who are not in policy or who are incorrectly expensing charges.

 ### 21. AP Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

Our team appreciates the customizable email templates, which make their daily tasks easier and allow them to work more effectively. Oversight customer service is exceptional and provides prompt assistance when needed. All IT tickets we submit are always completed timely.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

One item that could use improvement is the speed of pulling historical data.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oversight is identifying misuse and potential fraud. This helps our organization to stay compliant with our policies and address identified issues to minimize risk.

**Official Response from Steve Wagner:**

> Thank you so much for your review! We really appreciate the feedback you gave and we'll be in touch soon to continue working with you on pulling historical data in ways that are more beneficial to your needs. We look forward to working with you and continued success!

 ### 22. Oversight is easy to use and intuitive.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean R. | Sr Manager Asset Protection, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

Oversight, along with Concur Progress Reports access makes it easy to identify issues/fraud and to recover monies paid out to employees through their mistakes.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

We upgraded to OCR a couple months ago and have yet to receive training on the new tool. Also, I don't see anything different in the exceptions page.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Duplicate expense and fraud.

**Official Response from Steve Wagner:**

> Sean thank you so much for your review! We really appreciate the feedback and look forward to our continued work with you and your team. We will be in contact with you today regarding the OCR training.

 ### 23. Oversight is a game changing product for expense report auditors!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

Oversight has reduced the volume of manual expense report audits by 50-60%. It has been a game changer for our auditors, increasing their efficiency and reducing the risk of fraud. By leveraging Oversight, we aim to maintain high standards of compliance and control over our travel and expense processes.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

While the implementation of oversight was complex and time consuming, their implementation team made the process painless.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oversight has eliminated the need to manually review all expense reports. Due to the reduction in the manual review process, the team can now focus on more strategic tasks. The tool has also ensured that all transactions comply with the Sunshine Act regulations, reducing the risk of violations and misuse.

**Official Response from Steve Wagner:**

> Thank you so much for your review! We really appreciate the time you took to provide your experience working with us, in particular the kind words for our implementation team. We look forward to continuing to improve your efficiency and high standards of compliance with your expense audits.

 ### 24. Transformative Auditing of Payables

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

Long-time user of this software. We love that it allows us to audit 100% of our vendor invoices, travel, and ProCard expenses for a variety of scenarios and red flags that we can adjust as our risk tolerances and policies change. Whether we're recovering inappropriate or duplicate expenses after the fact, preventing a duplicate invoice before it pays out, or just noticing trends of behavior that don't line up with policy, this tool to help us find dollars and correct behaviors going forward in a way that directly impact our bottom line. Love that we can email through the tool and run reports on issues found over time.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

The tool would sometimes go down or not catch things as it was designed, and we'd have to do catch-up reviews later on. The company also seems focused on getting new customers and maintaining the product, while new features, product enhancements, and other new types of monitoring pitched to us by the Product team would sometimes never come to fruition or would be delayed multiple months or quarters. We would love to see more of the innovation that first got us hooked. Additionally, support on tickets for product modifications often seems slow.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Auditing expenses and invoices to make sure that we are not over-paying duplicates or incorrect entries, and not paying for things outside of our company travel policy.

**Official Response from Steve Wagner:**

> Thank you so much for your review! We really appreciate your insight. We've passed your comments to our product team and encourage you to connect with your customer success manager to learn what we have in store for the coming year!

 ### 25. Oversight team understands our risks and efficiently reviews our transactions.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

The Oversight team really worked with us to understand the types of transactions that employees incur on their company cards and developed parameters to identify when a transaction may be non-compliant with our policies.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

Nothing. The team is always flexible and willing to meet whenever our team is available.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oversight is identifying credit card transactions that may be non-compliant with our company policies and communicating with employees to gather additional information and making a determination whether the transaction is compliant or not.

**Official Response from Steve Wagner:**

> Thank you so much for your review! We really appreciate the feedback and look forward to our continued work with you and your team!

 ### 26. Cooperative, professional, knowledgeable, insightful, helpful and well rounded implementation team.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott B. | Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

Staff knowledge, dedication and attention to details. Listening and bridging the gap to configure the software to meet our unique business requirements.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

There are intricate integration parts that must be aligned as Oversight is an add on component to existing Concur systems. This must be done and done right and the Oversight IT is especially helpful and committed even as we tackled after hours setup.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adherence to expense policies. Overpayments, duplicates, rogue employees or managers, long list of benefits.

**Official Response from Steve Wagner:**

> Scott - thank you so much for your review! We really appreciate it and look forward to continuing our relationship!

 ### 27. Long-Term User of Oversight

**Reviewed by:** Michael B. | Senior Director, Internal Audit, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

Oversight gives me assurance that I am auditing 100% of my company's expenditures population, using a risk-based approach. Implementation was quick and the tool as customizable to my control environment and industry specific risk. The tool is very intuitive and the Oversight team is very responsive to my requests for support. The tool integraated with my Company's SAP and Concur modules with ease. My team and others across the organization are utilizing the application to manage risk. We are utilzing the tool to manage risk on a real-time basis.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

We would like to see more modules other than expenditures.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Risk mitigation and need for real-time monitoring of high risk expenditures in the pharmaceutical industry.

**Official Response from Steve Wagner:**

> Thank you so much for the review! We really appreciate the feedback and look forward to our continued work together!

 ### 28. Who asks for a title for a review?! lol

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

 ### 29. Experience in oversight for audit the pre and post payment expense

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** racheal k. | Travel and Expense Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

Having oversight is good when come to audit the expenses, it is more easy and convenient by comparing manual audit.
Having oversight can easy to see the diff exception listed in the dahsboard - easy for auditor to check

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

1. the function of looking the manager attendee, it does not show accuracy for non english invoices like Chinese . Which always show a false alert adding additional work to auditor
2. the duplicate invoices flag out, it also not accurate especially for train 2 way tickets always flag as duplicate where in fact it is not duplicate

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the customer support is good and responsive.

**Official Response from Steve Wagner:**

> Thank you so much for your review! We appreciate the feedback you provided us and we encourage you to work with your customer success manager on the flags you described.

 ### 30. Using Oversight as an Expense Auditor

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nur Aqeemah Z. | Travel & Expense Analyst 1, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

reduce human error during audit and reduce time spend doing manual audit

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

Cannot read language other than english accurately making it flagged expense falsely.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, we manually audit our company expense and would take a lot of time to audit one expense. With oversight, we can insert our own policy and rules and it can audit and filter according to our rules. This would save a lot of time and would left us with just a few expense to audit.

**Official Response from Steve Wagner:**

> Thank you so much for your review! We appreciate the feedback you provided us and we encourage you to work with your customer success manager on the expense flag item.

- Ability to customize views and extract data for reporting.
- Help desk tickets are typically resolved in a timely manner.
- Ease of integration with SAP and Concur.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

- Frequenty turnover in our customer success team.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think the Oversight system is not enough intelligence.

 ### 33. Eye opening

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

The details given as to what was purchased

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

I haven't found a downside at this time to Oversight

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Duplicate payments are very help for us to realize we've paid our credit card company and then an associate asks for reimbursement; therefore we've double paid, and with this category we can request a reimbursement from the associate to pay Printpack back.

**Official Response from Steve Wagner:**

> Xavior thank you so much for your review! We really appreciate your feedback.

 ### 34. Oversight use for duplicates and compliance

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

Oversight continues to provide excellent customer service. We use it to catch expense reports with audit and compliance issues prior to paying. It catches areas that a human review would not be able to catch, as issues can span reports or vendors. It also allows us to catch potential duplicates before they occur between out of pocket and P-card spend. Implementation and daily use is user friendly and provides reporting for deep dives into data.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

It would be ideal if the emails or communication posted in as a comment on the Concur expense report for a better audit trail.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Catches keywords on receipts and invoices to ensure we are in compliance with our policies on purchases.

**Official Response from Steve Wagner:**

> Thank you for the review! We really appreciate your feedback and your suggestion for emails and communications.

 ### 35. Oversight Expense PrePayment and PostPayment Audit

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer G. | Finance Ops Analyst II Accounts Payable, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

Allows for both pre-pay and post pay audit
Helps prevent "needle in a haystack" audting
Allows Auditor to focus on items that most need reviewing

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

False positives can slow down the Auditor's time
OCR has room for improvement

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oversight helps us to ensure Employees stay compliant to spend policies and spend with our low cost focus. We can see first hand how the tool allowing us to stay engaged with Employees/ensuring they understand policies impacts our bottom line.

**Official Response from Steve Wagner:**

> Thank you so much for your review! We will ensure our product team is aware of your feedback on OCR and false positives and encourage you to connect with your customer success manager to make your experience the most impactful it can possibly be.

 ### 36. Helpful tool and supportive team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

Our customer service rep is always helpful and has great ideas for implementing solutions to facilitate more productive work strategies.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

I can't really think of much here! Any time we've had an issue arise we've always had plenty of support in resolution.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our favorite insights are related to the ability to review issues which help us identify funds that were improperly claimed on expense reports and the ability to recover those. These would be difficult to identify and would take a great deal more effort to catch without a tool that can cross check multiple reports as Oversight does.

**Official Response from Steve Wagner:**

> Thank you so much for the review - we really appreciate it!

 ### 37. Good system for duplicate detection

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

It's not to customize the system, and it can be slow to open receipts

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Detecting duplicate expenses across different reports - these would not be dedtected otherwise.

**Official Response from Steve Wagner:**

> Patrice thank you so much for your review and we appreciate the feedback you provided regarding customization and opening receipts. There are a few actions we can work with you on with respect to those items, and we'll have our customer success team reach out to you to discuss. Thanks again for your feedback!

The support provided by the Client Service Manager

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

The tool performance, at times slow and does "time out".

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oversight allows us to go beyond the invidual line item review of con compliant item, but allows integration opportunities with other functions such as CP, IT, HR and Ethics and compliace, through the themes and patterns it provides as well.

It helps identify potential misuse that expense approvers may have missed.

**Official Response from Steve Wagner:**

 ### 43. Working with the Oversight team is fantastic, I couldn’t ask for better business partners!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa C. | Senior Manager, Internal Fraud, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2017

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

The oversight team is invested in making the tool applicable to our business model. They listen to how we use the tool, what insights are valuable and which are not. We work collaboratively to find a solution that works best for our business needs. The onsite visits are particularly valuable, getting to run through case studies and see the new products rolling out as well as meeting the team has made our partnership stronger.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

As with every solution on the market, development and innovation takes time. There have been a few suggestions that my team has made where the answer was, “we don’t have that capability yet, but it’s coming soon.” It’s great to hear that their direction is running parallel with our needs, we just have to be patient.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main benefit for my team is the visibility Oversight provides. We don’t have the bandwidth to review all transactions every month. Oversight triages the data and tells us right where to start with our reviews. We’re able to more efficiently investigate concerns and resolve inquiries.

 ### 44. I would highly recommend the Oversight tool. This has been a very positive experience for my company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2017

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

The Oversight tool gives targeted exceptions to review based on user specifications, rather than random auditing. As time goes on, the user makes modifications to the system to allow the system to generate better results (e.g. less noise). I like with the new upgrade where you can see the receipt right within Oversight, rather than having to open Concur and find the expense report to review. This makes the review go much faster, especially for the more low risk items. It is helpful to be able to drill into exceptions by person to see if there are patterns. It is also helpful to e-mail directly from the system and receive the e-mails back into the system. This makes tracking e-mails and outstanding questions easy (and all of this is logged within the system). The customer service is excellent - very responsive and helpful. Stephanie is the best!!

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

I would like to see the software only trigger one insight, rather than one item showing up in multiple insights. I know this is something Oversight is working on.

**Recommendations to others considering Oversight:**

I highly recommend the Oversight tool.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Has helped with reviewing for credit card abuse and fraud. With reviewing the exceptions and contacting employees as needed, this makes employees know that someone is monitoring their credit card spending and making sure their purchases are related to business. It also identifies trending and patterns to do a deeper dive for potential misuse.

 ### 45. Ease of Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lynaia F. | Technical Lead (NMCI), Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2017

**What do you like best about Oversight?**

The ease of use for this program has allowed the time to Audit to be cut in half. We have the ability to see images and contact our clients within the software. Great tool to use.

**What do you dislike about Oversight?**

I dont like the time it takes between receiving an outside email and the refresh rate that comes with waiting for it to load in the programmed software. The refresh rate has been difficult when writing notes and it pauses for moments and I must re-enter my data in after it refreshes.

**What problems is Oversight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to efficiently collect debts and allows to see what is against our policy.
