"NetSuite & it's Scalability."
4.5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

The ability of NetSuite to offer end-to-end visibility across operations and finance in a single system is what I find most appealing. Strong process control is made possible by its integrated audit trails, approvals, and validations. With scripting, workflows, and saved searches, the platform is very customizable. It makes it possible to solve challenging business issues without requiring a lot of development work. It is an effective central hub because of its smooth integration with programs like Boomi. All things considered, it is a dependable and adaptable system for effectively managing financial operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

one disadvantage is that managing intricate logic (such as tolerance checks) frequently necessitates the use of scripting or saved searches as workarounds. Certain common restrictions, like line-level controls or partial billing of expenses, are not always clear-cut. Troubleshooting can be time-consuming due to unclear user interface and error messages. Some actions seem counterintuitive, such as managing system-generated records or excluding voided transactions. In general, obtaining advanced functionality may occasionally necessitate additional customization work rather than native support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"NetSuite Scales Effortlessly with Flexible Integrations and Powerful AI Insights"
4/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I love the scalability of NetSuite. There always seems to be a way to add something new to the platform, whether that’s through prebuilt integrations or with a little elbow grease by writing my own Suitelets. With the addition of new AI tools, it’s also never been easier to view and understand my data the way I want, directly through the UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

The only thing I dislike about NetSuite is that I can’t use saved searches to include both line-level detail and payment/application transaction detail within the same transaction search. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Customization with Room for Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I think saved searches in NetSuite are a super power, and I love the flexibility it offers without having to rip out the core. The integration ecosystem enables real architecture, so it's great that you can solve real business problems. It's simply wow when it comes to ERP. I've worked with many systems, and this one is user-friendly and easy to customize to business needs. NetSuite is more scalable, the reporting is amazing, and you don't have to be an expert to run a saved search. If you know the data structure, you can play around nicely. What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Some native NetSuite functionality still throws errors even after opening a case with NetSuite, and I'm still waiting for resolution. Also, the global search in NetSuite Next doesn't seem like the existing version, possibly because it's still in development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"NetSuite Brings Everything Together with Real-Time Visibility and Scalability"
4.5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

What I like most about NetSuite is that it brings everything together in one place. Rather than juggling separate tools for accounting, inventory, CRM, and reporting, it all runs within a single system. That makes day-to-day work smoother and saves a lot of time.

Another standout for me is the real-time visibility. I can quickly check financials, track orders, or review performance without having to wait for reports to be generated, which makes it easier to make faster, more informed decisions.

I also appreciate how customizable it is. As business needs change, you can adjust workflows, dashboards, and reports without having to switch to a completely different system. Overall, it feels like a scalable solution that can grow along with the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

One thing I don’t like about NetSuite is that it can feel pretty complex, especially for new users. The interface isn’t always very intuitive, so it takes a while to get comfortable and really understand how everything works.

Another drawback is the cost. For smaller businesses, it can be quite expensive—not only the subscription, but also the implementation and customization. It’s simply not always the most budget-friendly option.

I’ve also found that some customizations and reports can be tricky to set up without technical help. At times you need external support or a specialist, which can slow progress and make changes take longer than expected.

Overall, even though it’s a powerful system, there’s a clear learning curve and some added costs that come with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, High-Performing NetSuite That Makes Bank Reconciliation Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I enjoy the overall aspect of NetSuite and using the system. The system overall is intuitive and performs at a very high level. Integrating things like banke feeds and such has been a game changer and has made reconciling bank accounts easy and not a hassle. The NetSuite team has been great and our account manager checking in to see what we need is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Some of the backend form updating can be a bit tricky as it takes a little bit of coding knowledge to get certain items to flow to the form such as an invoice. But with looking at the support forums it is manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Real-Time Financial Reporting That Streamlines Month-End Close"
4.5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

NetSuite ERP has provided significant value through its robust financial reporting capabilities, particularly for income statement and balance sheet reporting. The platform’s real-time visibility into financial data, customizable reporting tools, and drill-down functionality enable efficient analysis and faster decision-making. Its ability to consolidate data across entities and automate reporting processes has improved accuracy, reduced manual effort, and streamlined month-end and financial review activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

One limitation of NetSuite includes a steep learning curve for creating and modifying custom reports. Report customization can require specialized knowledge. Additionally, changes to report structures and saved searches can be time-consuming, making it challenging to quickly adapt reporting to evolving business needs. "Flexible Customization with Room for Speed Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I really like how flexible NetSuite is with customization and how quickly I can apply those customizations. I can take an existing business process and optimize it significantly, even redesign parts of the core workflows using Suitelets. Replacing parts of the UI and making integrations via Restlets or a third-party integration platform is achieved with ease. Additionally, I value the 'OneWorld' feature for providing one unified database across any number of jurisdictions, each with its own compliance and tax nexus rules. The initial setup was far easier compared to SAP, which is a huge plus for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Customer record edit, save, and sales order edit, save are unacceptably slow. Far too slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive ERP Solution, Smooth Setup, Needs Better Bank Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I appreciate NetSuite’s integration capabilities, especially with ticketing software, which is essential for us. The setup process was smooth and accompanied by comprehensive training, making it easy for us. I also value the ease of generating reports and saved searches, which I use frequently. Additionally, NetSuite’s extensive capabilities in handling order management, processing, budgeting, and financials all within one software make it a worthy consideration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I find integrating bank and credit card feeds with NetSuite challenging. Unlike smaller software like QuickBooks, which makes this process straightforward, NetSuite requires more effort and complexity to achieve this integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Error-Prone Deployments and Hard-to-Trace Workflow Logic Slow Maintenance"
2.5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I like that I can create custom record types, and I also appreciate the ability to customize things using JavaScript. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I don’t like SDF, and I honestly don’t use it much. Early on, I found the deployment process difficult and error-prone, mainly because of missing dependencies. Since we have four SBs before we get to production, the manual deployment entry steps become especially troublesome.

While I understand the benefits of workflows, I find that our company’s implementation of workflows and scripts often creates challenges when maintaining a system where the logic can live across multiple platforms. A lot of the time, simply figuring out where the issue actually resides ends up being the most time-consuming part of maintenance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
