It offers a single, intuitive interface for managing compute, storage, and virtualization without having to rely on multiple tools. Prism also makes it straightforward to monitor performance, capacity, and overall health in real time, which helps speed up troubleshooting and reduces operational overhead. Day-to-day tasks like VM management, upgrades, and scaling can be completed quickly and with confidence, so the infrastructure team can spend less time on routine maintenance and more time supporting business and production needs. **What do you dislike about Nutanix Prism?** Some features and procedures can be complicated to complete. For example, updates have to be performed in a specific order, moving from Prism to Element. Also, Nutanix Guest Tools must be installed on every server, but it can’t update automatically, so we have to mount the ISO on each VM and run the updates manually from time to time. **What problems is Nutanix Prism solving and how is that benefiting you?** Nutanix Prism addresses the challenge of fragmented infrastructure management by offering a single, unified platform for managing compute, storage, and virtual machines. Rather than depending on multiple tools spread across different systems, Prism provides real-time visibility into performance, capacity, and overall health, which is essential for supporting production-dependent workloads.
