"SAP Business Data Cloud: Benefits and Areas for Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Business Data Cloud?

What I like most about SAP Business Data Cloud is how it connects data from different SAP and non-SAP systems while keeping the underlying business context intact. Rather than viewing data in isolation from individual systems, it brings everything together and provides a clearer, more complete picture of overall business operations.

I also find the idea of data products and zero copy data sharing quite compelling, since it can help reduce unnecessary data replication. The integration of SAP Datasphere, Analytics Cloud, and Databricks further strengthens the platform, making it well suited for analytics, reporting, and AI-driven insights.

Overall, I think it has a lot of potential, especially for organisations that want to make better business decisions based on reliable, connected data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Business Data Cloud?

One area I think SAP Business Data Cloud could improve is usability for people who are new to the platform, especially for those coming from more traditional SAP systems. It can feel a bit complex at first, and getting a clear understanding of how components like Datasphere, Databricks, and Analytics Cloud fit together and work as one solution may take some time.

In addition, implementation and integration with existing SAP and non SAP systems can require extra effort, technical knowledge, and cost. I’d also like to see more practical examples and hands-on learning resources, so it’s easier to understand how the platform can be applied in real time business scenarios. Overall, I like the concept, but the learning curve could be made a little smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
