**Describe the project or task NTT Security helped with:**

NTT Security was contracted for 4 years of security monitoring service as a MSSP to provide 24x7x365 SIEM as part of PCI compliance.

**What do you like best about NTT Security?**

The first 2 years of service NTT provided an adequate job of monitoring and alerting.

**What do you dislike about NTT Security?**

After the first 2 years NTT became non-responsive. By year 3 their NIDS appliance stopped reporting any traffic and wasn't even alerting when it was completely unplugged. Access to their internal portal was locked out and a ticket to just have a password reset so that we could look at past tickets took 3 months. Every person we'd worked with was let go an none of the phone numbers worked. Dialing their main 8xx number multiple times a day just went to the same answering service who would either transfer to full voicemail boxes or take a message that was never returned. In the last 6 months we received no service, couldn't get in contact with anyone, and honestly thought they might have just shut down.

**Recommendations to others considering NTT Security:**

Give NTT a pass. There are several other good MSSPs to go with instead. One of our QSA's said it best that "NTT is okay, provided you're willing to constantly manage how they help you manage security."

**What problems is NTT Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

During the early part of our relationship, NTT helped solve the 24x7 aspect of security by providing altering during hours we were closed.
