No dislikes, honestly, they have done all the things they promised to do and no surprises

**Recommendations to others considering GSI, Inc.:**

If you have never worked with them, as was my case, just get on a call to discuss the project, and I recommend that you get introduced to the resources that will be assigned to your project, so you get a chance to meet them.  In my case, the scope of work was very standard for any upgrade; however, we have resources in-house able to do many of the steps, so we came to an agreement to reduce the scope and switched it to time and materials. This way, I'm only paying for what I'm using.

**What problems is GSI, Inc. solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GSI is helping me upgrade my JDE to the latest version.  My account team is outstanding, and the engineer I was paired with is very knowledgeable.  We have completed so far, the upgrade of DV/PY and configured BSSV, all is record time, and whatever issues we ran into during the upgrade were quickly addressed.

I really appreciate the system stability improvements that GSI, Inc. provides, with fewer unplanned outages thanks to better load balancing and performance monitoring. The faster deployment cycles with CI and CD alignment and a cleaner architecture are great. Moving from manual patching to automated pipelines has been beneficial. Cost optimization is another aspect that's really helping me. For me, the end-to-end enterprise systems optimization combined with proactive managed services is very valuable. The deep ERP performance tuning, right-sizing of cloud infrastructure, and cost optimization stand out. I also value their implementation of Oracle ADS Suite and Amazon Web Services. Their proactive services, including 24/7 monitoring, profile tuning, and predictive diagnostics, help reduce operational risks. The proactive approach builds reliability and strengthens our business continuity posture. Cloud optimization played a major role in my decision to expand my partnership with GSI, Inc., as it delivers measurable technical and financial outcomes through workload profiling, resource outlay analysis, and instance size recommendations based on historical usage patterns.

I want to make sure there should be better customer service because the waiting time for their call is too much. A little better downtime should be there.

I appreciate that GSI, Inc. helps us save money by controlling our ERP systems' backend processes. They assist us with ERP issues and manage improvements, ensuring our backend database is up and running correctly. This creates significant value for us as it prevents the need to maintain these services in-house, saving us money. I find GSI, Inc.'s expertise in the JD Edwards environment particularly valuable, as there are not many companies that offer such specific services. Their knowledge and experience in JD Edwards, which is a legacy environment, are impressive. They have many knowledgeable people from the JDE history, making them our go-to for managing services in GD Edwards environments. GSI, Inc. is our one-stop shop for ERP systems, and we rely on them for every aspect, from transaction issues to backend database improvements. They're the experts for us, and we turn to them whenever we need assistance or further enhancements, add-ons, or tools. They truly are the go-to partner for us for all those needs.

They are responsive to our needs and have good tools to watch our system and resolving issues as they occur. We have bi-weekly meetings with our account manager so that they are always in tune to what is going on and where our needs are evolving to.

There isn't really anything that I can think of that isn't being offered.

GSI is a good to partner to work with and at least with their service to us for our JDE install, they are effective in that support effort. Can't speak to any of their other support areas, but based on the positive experience we've had, I would be comfortable with them supporting us in any new areas should we require those services.

**What problems is GSI, Inc. solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GSI is always easily available to help with technical support on our JDE installation. They provide both software and programming support as well as CNC infrastructure support.
We've been customers since around 2008 or 2009, and they have supported us through multiple upgrades and regular production code updates.
We're planning an infrastructure change to a Linux-based one early in 2026, and initial discovery sessions have shown that the GSI consultants are very knowledgeable, and we anticipate this change to be quick and smooth.

They have a good monitoring system called Genius, and can sense when there are certain performance issues often before users report there is an issue.

GSI is very professional in everything they do so it is hard to find something I don't like. Truly a very professional partner.

If you are looking for a top notch and very professional CNC or custom support group I can't recommend a better group than GSI. They are experts in CNC, custom programming, orchestrations, user defined objects and all things JDE.

GSI continually monitors our instance, and can respond quickly if there are any outages or degradation in performance. GSI keeps us up to date with Oracle releases as well as handling all of our custom programming. They are experts at orchestrations as well as core Java customizations to JDE.

GSI was engaged to setup a new tenant for us for both our ERP and Office365 environment in a very short timeframe. They delivered quickly on time and on Budget and in addition they setup our Managed services agreement to support our ERP platform.

The project managers and consultants were clearly NetSuite experts. They also spent the time to understand our business and how NetSuite can help solve problems with our current systems.

I wouldn't necessarily call it a dislike, but I wish that GSI had placed more emphasis on user acceptance testing. It could be that our company required more testing than other projects. I think we underestimated the value of testing every possible scenario during UAT, and we suffered (slightly) during the first few months of going live. This very well could have been self-inflicted pain, so that's why I want to emphasize that it's not really a dislike of GSI.

**Recommendations to others considering GSI, Inc.:**

Ask for a reference and review case studies. Understand that they bill for time and materials; you can certainly do some of the work yourself first. Recognize that at some point, it makes sense to consult the experts when you're at the limits of your understanding.

GSI's approach to NetSuite implementation was far more effective than NS Professional Services. We had the same contacts throughout the entire process. They each specialized in different areas and split up the support topics. NS Professional Services had too much employee turnover, and it felt like we had to start over whenever we changed representatives. GSI's availability, expertise and commitment to our project forced us to commit to their process.

We know our GSI teammates are there for us regardless of the situation - this cannot be stated with any more emphasis.

In my experience, this is a big deal because the resources GSI has reflects its strong, experienced, expert leadership.  

I recommend GSI because not only will you be able to trust that the people you'll be working with are vetted experts, but they are 100% backed by leadership who completely understand what your needs are.  This benefit has proven invaluable to Eastern on many occasions;  this should be one of the requirements in your search and selection of a service provider who will help you support highly-available business systems.

As a small company running a complex JD Edwards installation, Eastern supplements its limited IT resources with a bench of GSI experts in critical roles, which would be impossible for us to have directly. GSI is an extension of the Eastern IT team.

My team and I focused a lot of our attention on which ERP to migrate to, but admittedly and regrettably didn’t think much of implementation teams. After deciding on Netsuite, we purchased the whole nine, including the SuiteSuccess implementation program, offered by NetSuite directly.  After all, why wouldn’t you go with the team who’s most incentivized to make your transition as successful as possible?

We learned the hard way that it wasn’t going to work by a mile. We were definitely going to not only miss our cutover deadline, but not be able to meet the infrastructure/business goals we had set out to attain. Thankfully, we cut this short after about a month and started looking for other solutions and stumbled across CloudGenius. 

They are simply a team who is passionate, hardworking, and eager to lean in to understand what your ultimate goals are for the business and its reporting potential. They recommend best practices, they do the ugly non-recurring work that you don’t have the bandwidth nor expertise to do, and understand prioritization, instead of forcing you to sit through programmatized customization sessions building your preferred color schemes and showing you how to enter basic business information.

End to end white glove experience. They treat our problems like their own and do what it takes and basically work 24/7 if they have to to get things done on time.

We anticipate a smooth go live and we will reduce redundant labor along with establishing our 1st "one source of truth."

Initially, implement Netsuite for back-end financials. They are currently helping us implement Netsuite for Inventory/Purchasing and Front-end CRM functinoality. They also helped with navigating the difficult world of the Netsuite ecosystem and provided top-notch training in various Netsuite best-practices and functionality

**What do you like best about GSI, Inc.?**

They care about your company and will only recommend what is best for you and not necessarily what is best for them. They take the time to understand your business instead of trying to fit your company into some little box based on what they've done in the past for other companies.

**What do you dislike about GSI, Inc.?**

In only a few rare occasions, I have had to follow up on emails more than one time to get a response, but only for general, unimportant, questions. Important ones are always followed up upon quickly.

Cloud Genius is there for you. They bring a lot of expertise in Netsuite and general business principles and best practices. They are fantastic at helping you navigate your way through difficult processes and will, basically, hold your hand through the whole process while being immeasurably patient as you in-fight your way through process change and system implementations. They are fantastic.

We need to improve our front-end CRM process and have a better Inventory and Purchasing process. CloudGeniusERP is helping us solve these issues with Netsuite functionality.

The consultants know what needs to be done and take the time to understand how your business works.   They stay on task and help the company meet their deadlines. 

**What do you dislike about GSI, Inc.?**

I dislike that we used other providers in the past that didn't give us the same level of service.

**Recommendations to others considering GSI, Inc.:**

Make sure you have a complete SOW and don't try to change the focus of your projects midstream.   This will cause delays in your project and could cause you to be over budget.

We ran our HR/Payroll on World after we moved the rest of our modules to E1.   They helped us move just those modules over to E1 and made sure we caught all the other pieces we needed to update.

CloudGeniusERP assisted us in a major conversion of our legacy financial system to NetSuite. We continue to work together over the past two years to further utilize NetSuite for more and more of our business needs. 

**What do you like best about GSI, Inc.?**

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Jon and Perry at Cloudgenius. Having a local partner who can assist with business process and accounting, not just the system administration elements was a huge asset to us. They assisted us in establishing best practices while we were going through the system implementation process. Sitting side by side with a local partner, not over the phone or web conference was a huge plus for us! I have referred other contacts to CloudGenius who have had the same success stories.

There is not much to say about dislike's while working with CloudGeniusERP.

After initial implementation of core financials, Cloud GeniusERP assisted us with CRM, Fixed Assets, Inventory and Project Mangement. They assisted us in product selection and the proper plug-ins throughout the process. We continue to grow as partners. Information sharing between CloudGeniusERP and us in a huge asset to keep both of our businesses prospering.

CloudGenius is very knowledgeable and truly makes customer service a top priority.  Issues are addressed with promptly and thoroughly.

There is not much to dislike with CloudGenius.  Large systematic change in an organization is always trying, but having a partner that is flexible and quick to respond to changes makes all of the difference.

Always do your due diligence when selecting a service provider, but make sure you put CloudGenius on your short list.  They truly care about the work that they do, and that can be hard to come by.

**What do you like best about GSI, Inc.?**

It's a simple platform to use, it only took my co-workers and I just one day to get used to it and be able to use it for the purposes we needed. It doesn't have too much to the platform but it doesn't really need to be overly complicated to serve it's purpose for any business. Their customer support was also helpful on the phone, we called before choosing this platform for additional information as well as when we did decide to use it I talked to customer service again.

**What do you dislike about GSI, Inc.?**

There was no initial tour to help show you what all the tabs, and areas around the website would do. There really wasn't much of an explanation to anything.

**Recommendations to others considering GSI, Inc.:**

It is a little pricier to use than we would have liked, but ultimately it was exactly what we needed.

We needed to keep track of and protect our products using a recognized system. This accomplished that goal.
