**What do you like best about SHI?**

I appreciate SHI for their pricing, which is cheaper than CDW, particularly for Microsoft licensing. The transition from CDW to SHI has been a great experience as the infrastructure cost is lower and the customer service is better. SHI's answers and ability to provide good service stand out to me. Their proactive approach, where account reps ask about current initiatives and follow up with tailored options, adds a lot of value. I like the ability to consolidate vendor services with SHI, making it convenient to manage billing in one place and reducing the hassle of managing multiple vendors. The URL filter feature in the Zscaler web security they helped implement is particularly beneficial in blocking malicious sites. I am very confident in the pricing SHI offers, and currently, SHI is doing everything I expect from a partner.

**What problems is SHI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With SHI, our infrastructure costs are lower, and customer service is better. They help streamline vendor management, preventing missed renewals, and will enhance our onboarding process with PC imaging, meeting our SLA's. SHI's pricing is also a big advantage.

**What do you like best about SHI?**

I've been using SHI for purchasing all hardware and software for about six years. I appreciate that they help in our company's innovation and that they provide more services for our company overall. Their assistance with implementing and distributing certain types of products, as well as their advice, has been valuable. SHI has helped with the implementation of software like Adobe and Jamf, which are essential for running our business. Additionally, their support in implementing software across the business, including user workstations, has been beneficial. I think they’re doing an amazing job and I'd like them to keep providing their service.

**What do you like best about SHI?**

I think SHI is great because they are more like a partner than just a vendor. I've been using SHI for 15 years, mainly for purchasing Microsoft renewals, and they have remained very knowledgeable throughout. They explain every detail and answer all our questions, which enhances the partnership aspect. I particularly appreciate their website; it's user-friendly like Amazon, where I can easily make purchases. Overall, I love them and would definitely recommend SHI to others.

The people and account executives.  I've dealt with many different VARs large and small in my career.  Account teams can make or break the experience and SHI has amazing account teams.

I wish the commercial reps were able to travel to customer sites more.  At a previous company we had an enterprise level rep and that was great.  Commercial reps should be able to travel to customers more.

Everyone I’ve interacted with has been knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely committed to helping customers and each other succeed. There’s a real sense of partnership—not just in how SHI works with clients, but internally as well. I also appreciate the access to innovative technology solutions and the emphasis on continuous learning. It feels like a place where you can grow, make an impact, and be part of something forward-thinking.

**What do you dislike about SHI?**

One thing I’ve found challenging about SHI is that, at times, the size and complexity of the organization can make it hard to quickly navigate internal processes or find the right point of contact. It’s understandable given how large and diverse the offerings are, but it can sometimes slow things down when you’re trying to move quickly or deliver a solution efficiently. That said, I’ve also noticed that once you build relationships and understand the internal structure, it gets a lot easier to get things done.

When I first started using SHI, I assumed they’d be strictly a marketplace - an excuse for transaction - but SHI is so much more. In their modeling, they offer a truly white gloved experience, focusing beyond the dollar sign and more into a fully-functional working relationship. Ask to work with Joseph Luna and Dillon.

Friendly account managers are available to help and do quite a bit of work to research and find solutions that fit our business needs.

There can be some issues with a random delay here and there, however, his is not consistently an issue.

They are helping our organization locate software Solutions by finding the best fit, instead of what provides them the best margin.

At first, the account manager’s approach felt overly assertive, almost intrusive. However, once clear expectations and boundaries were set, the dynamic shifted completely, turning into a productive and valuable partnership.

When looking into solutions, SHI has help vetting vendor offering and created comprehensive comparison matrix to help remove emotion from selection and best choose according to business needs and not necessarily personal wants.

SHI provides us ability of shipping laptops straight to our remote coworkers homes by enrolling them into Auto Pilot for us.  This saves the IT department time by not having to setup the laptops for the end users and also on doubling up on shipping costs.
