## ThreatSpike Reviews
  ### 1. Comprehensive Cybersecurity and 24/7 IT Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ThreatSpike?**

I really appreciate the cybersecurity services from ThreatSpike, especially the penetration testing. It provides peace of mind and allows us to pass that security knowledge onto our clients. Having ThreatSpike operate 24/7 for IT support is a huge help, especially since we have offices all over the world. It simplifies onboarding new starters, handles IT queries, and significantly reduces internal workload. Their software portal is also very useful as it helps manage and update security remotely, and allows us to see what our team is up to.

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

I think it would be beneficial for us to have a sole single point of contact, a project manager, across all of their services. That would then allocate the tasks and the requests that I have internally to their staff.

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ThreatSpike for cybersecurity and IT support. They provide peace of mind with penetration testing and 24/7 IT support, crucial for our global offices. Their services reduce our internal workload, offer specialized expertise, and allow remote security updates, supporting our cybersecurity needs efficiently.

  ### 2. Reliable, Fast, Great Value: ThreatSpike is a True Partner

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2025

**What do you like best about ThreatSpike?**

Their responsiveness and accountability. The team moves quickly, whether it’s following up on a detection, explaining findings, or supporting remediation, and leadership stays directly involved. Communication feels genuine and partnership-focused rather than transactional.

The value for money is also exceptional. ThreatSpike provides the kind of depth and technical expertise you’d expect from a high-end security firm, but with the flexibility and personal touch of a smaller, dedicated team. The reports are detailed yet readable, and their analysts consistently go above and beyond to ensure we understand what’s happening and why.

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

Honestly, not much. The only small thing we’d like to see is even more dashboarding and automation options in the portal, mostly for internal reporting convenience. But that’s minor compared to the quality and speed of their service. When you can reach a real person who knows your environment within minutes, a few UI tweaks feel secondary.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatSpike:**

If you’re tired of overpriced annual pen tests that gather dust or outsourced services that disappear after delivery, ThreatSpike is the opposite. They’re fast, accountable, and truly collaborative. You’ll get real-world attack simulation paired with hands-on defensive guidance, and you’ll see measurable improvements quickly. For organizations that want meaningful, ongoing security validation at a fair cost, ThreatSpike Red and Blue (Purple) is one of the best investments you can make.

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThreatSpike helps us continuously identify and close real world security gaps across our environment. Their Red and Blue (Purple) service blends offensive testing with defensive collaboration, so we don’t just get a report, we get a feedback loop that actually improves our detection and response maturity.
It’s helped us validate controls, tune alerts, and train our internal team to think like attackers. The result has been stronger visibility, faster incident response, and tangible improvement in our overall resilience, all at a far more reasonable cost than comparable enterprise offerings.

  ### 3. Boutique EDR solution with excellent customer support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** LEE S. | Head of Cyber Security, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatSpike?**

Pricing, integrations, support, dashboarding, agent install is easy, scheduled reports, flexibility, additional functionality outside of pure EDR, team is exceptionally easy to deal with including up to C level

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

Nothing which would not be a similar issue under another EDR

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatSpike:**

Defintely punches above its weight class versus more mature providers - consider what other products in your environments could be remove / consolidated (E.g. internet filter) as that provides the full value add and return on investment

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company is based across multiple countries with very little critical mass, users are etherial, moving as and when required to deliver our services - this meant we required both an EDR and Internet Filter which did not impede how we operate.

Threatspike has provided us with all the features and functionality you could hope for from an EDR and more, building reports and meeting additional requirements upon request with no issues.

Any technical challenges have been well understood and responded to in a very timely fashion with exceptional patience.

  ### 4. Solidify your security posture with ThreatSpike Blue

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryan H. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2025

**What do you like best about ThreatSpike?**

Ease of implementation that still allows for a nuanced implementation of more sensitive controls that have a higher chance of negatively impacting our user base.

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

My only complaint (and it is minor) while you can break up your deployed clients into different groups for detailed site by site deployments that require different configurations, you can’t easily search for devices across the entire installation. Again a minor complaint compared to the benefits of the platform.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatSpike:**

Like any other product: Be prepared for minor issues as you roll out controls to your sites en masse.

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Threatspike Blue: SIEM, SOC, device compliance, SSL inspection, client level phishing detection, DMARC monitoring, AV and EDR monitoring all on one platform under one pane of glass. They keep adding new features based on customer feedback. I haven’t seen a security vendor this responsive. I’ve been able to replace multiple vendors with a single vendor at a single price.
Allows me to easily break up my individual sites or lines of business that each require different control configurations, while still managing the overall platform.

SOC responses are extremely fast.

  ### 5. An eye-opening journey

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick J. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2025

**What do you like best about ThreatSpike?**

I have really enjoyed interacting with the Black Team, who are our MSP, they manage our day-to-day but are also in the backgroud developing new features they are all part of the ThreatSpike offering.

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

Getting excited about a new features on the horizon but aren't immediately avalaible. Seeing what beneifts are just around the courner and knowing they are part of your ThreatSpike package by default but having to wait for them :)

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatSpike:**

You will sleep better at night! Don't be afraid to explore the multitude of offerings, some features will still need development but ThreatSpike team are always happy to take feedback to develop further.

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security is the largest but Threatspike have so many other areas they help with its hard to know how to define them now. From Email Gateway to Asset Register, Anti-virus to Encryption, there is something for everyone. We have benfitted hugely from looking at best practises in a Microsoft domain environment in this day & age. ThreatSpike are heavilyinvolved with our PCI journey & on the path to achieveing Cyber Essentials Plus.

  ### 10. Master of all Trades, Jack of none.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin P. | IT Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatSpike?**

I like that there is one butt to kick, I like that the controls and functions, all of them are seamless, I like that any part of the day or night, I can rest more easily knowing ThreatSpike are watching. The recent Cloud Strike global problem was a great example. I know the design an artictcure of ThreatSpike products are so well thought through that, unlike Cloud Strike, there is no need to constantly update you client to ensure protection perfection, this is and was proved to be a fools errand, much better to do it the way that ThreatSpike had envisaged. Proof of the pudding…

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

Being the type of person, who follows instruction. I'll try and answer the dislike question, the only thing I have is that when other Cyber security providers contact me and say, "We are the only ones that can do x", I have to start a sentence by saying, no you’re not. It makes conversations a bit awkward after that. But really, so far, after over 10 years, I’ve not been able to find anything I dislike!

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatSpike:**

So, although I think ThreatSpike is amazing.. always have layers, the good news, is that this can be windows firewall or defender or even a low cost paid for that provides some support for some area of Cyber Security that you think is the most important in your situation.

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are many cyber security questions, the first is probably what is cyber security.. Problems are numerous, inbound email, client protection, PCI, GDPR, Penetration testing, software deployment, remote access, sandboxing, controlling lateral movement, privileged user access, compliance...... the list goes on. What ThreatSpike does.. it solves these and many other problems, cost effectively.

  ### 11. Exceptional Support and Responsiveness I have never seen

I always have consistently quick and effective responses from the support team, which is crucial for resolving security issues swiftly. Whether it's a minor query or a significant concern, ThreatSpike's team is always available and ready to assist, ensuring that I am supported and confident in their cybersecurity measures

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

Latest Windows update had issues with the Threatspike agent as 2FA for the admin login did not work, but this was a Windows update problem and the support team fixed it really fast

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatSpike:**

Overall, ThreatSpike's blend of excellent support, continuous innovation, and comprehensive security features make it a top choice for organizations seeking reliable cybersecurity solutions. With its user-friendly interface and dedication to staying ahead of cyber threats, ThreatSpike delivers peace of mind to its users, making it a highly recommended service.

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThreatSpike has proven to be an exceptional security solution in today's complex digital landscape. Earning a well-deserved rating of 10 out of 10, the platform stands out for several key reasons

  ### 12. Efficient, fast and excellent customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicolas v. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatSpike?**

They are quick and available to response and are reasonable priced.

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

I have nothing bad to say about their service

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatSpike:**

When you start with them its useful to be very clear about your business and what your expectations are in terms of what to test and how the resport should look like.

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We run 20+ ecommerce websites for different retail brands in LATAM and Threatspike helps us ensure we match the brand stadards in terms of Cybersecurity on those. They also comply with the needs of our internal anual audit.

  ### 13. The ideal Security solution where no challenge is too great.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mauricio L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatSpike?**

Their unwavering “can-do" attitude and readiness to respond anytime throughout the year makes ThreatSpike one of the most responsive organizations I’ve enjoyed working with. Their whole team is extremely friendly and incredibly accommodating, making every interaction a positive and effective experience.

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

Honestly, there’s nothing to point out; collaborating with ThreatSpike is great and I consider them an integral part of our IT team.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatSpike:**

For anyone in search of a robust security solution and penetration testing services, I highly recommend giving the ThreatSpike team an opportunity to showcase their capabilities. I’m confident that once you see what they can do, you will choose to partner with them.

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By ensuring compliance and enhancing system visibility, the RED team plays a crucial role in uncovering and addressing vulnerabilities, thereby fortifying our defences against escalating cyber threats. Their diligent efforts ensure that we can re-test our networks following any changes or eventualities that have occurred throughout the year, without incurring additional charges

  ### 14. Super product, super team - makes an immediate difference to security posture

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam L. | IT Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatSpike?**

First and foremost the team at Threatspike are super responsive no matter the complexity of issues raised, and beyond that they listen to the needs of their customers and create frequent value adds to the product that benefits anyone using the platform. I have used Threatspike in two organisations and the product just gets better and better.

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

No dislikes. The number of times this product and the team behind it have supported our business are countless.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatSpike:**

The maximum benefit comes from ensuring you have it running on every endpoint in your organisation. Make sure you have the capability to get it on to every machine. This is the key. Also, to help with any ROI calculations look at what you may be able to replace by implementing Threatspike.

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As we are constrained by budgets like most organisations, we are able to solve a number of problems with one product instead of several - able to control data leakage, meet CIS compliance targets, use it for secure network tunnelling (thus keeping our applications at arms length from the Internet), have instant threat alerts, sandboxing of devices, and MFA for domain admins - this is non exhaustive - we solve a lot more problems than this with the tool.

  ### 15. Outstanding Customer Support and Unlimited Pen tests

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatSpike?**

Unlimited pen tests
Quick response on any security related questions

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

Would be great to see a webinterface with some automated scans on our endpoints as well as displaying any findings from the pen tests.

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been using ThreatSpike's Red plan for the last half a year, and I am thoroughly impressed with their exceptional customer support. They are incredibly responsive and knowledgeable, ensuring all my queries are resolved promptly. The unlimited pen tests included in the Red plan offer outstanding value and give us peace of mind, knowing our platform is thoroughly tested by a highly skilled team. Highly recommend ThreatSpike for their top-notch service and comprehensive security solutions!

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatSpike?**

Engineers were always able to tailor the service to our specific requirements. They were able to conduct thorough tests even with a changing testing target.

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

Nothing to report here, there was nothing to dislike.

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Different varieties of security tests.

  ### 17. Awesome solution, brilliant service and customer support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denis L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatSpike?**

Through our experience they are responsive, professional and problem solving oriented. We had an issue in our network and on workstations, whole team was up in approximately 30 minutes and we successfully identified and prevent escalation of security issue.

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

Currently not a lot of downsides to be honest.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatSpike:**

It is a all-in-one solution, covering many aspects of daily administrative routines and security services. Very simple process of onboarding.

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have onboarded their service about a year and a half ago. They helped us solving problems regarding security, we are working further on patching and deploying software through their solution. Out team has more time for other things since onboarding, security issues are covered by their SOC.

  ### 18. Threatspike have protected our company for 10 years

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edward P. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatSpike?**

Peace of mind and the fact that it provides our business with the security it needs in an every changing world.

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

We have not criticisms whatsoever so I cannot answer that.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatSpike:**

They provide a demo, it is worth doing because the range of solutions they have built onto their service is remarkable, you can use them as a one stop shop. Speak to their technical people, they have a wealth of experience both in terms of the product and its utility and in coding.

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Threatspike protect our company from malicious software, human error and help us with our cyber security. They are an exceptional team to work with, technical but also exceptional communicators to people lacking the technical knowledge.

  ### 19. Great Service, Great Team and Great Price

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatSpike?**

All asects of their team! Senior managers, support team, consultants, etc are always available and are able to convey information in an understandable way to both my staff and also my customers if required.

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

Their reporting is a little antiquated, meaning that their documents look somewhat dated compared to other solutions that we've used. That said, we don't need to ignore the first 6 pages of their reports because it's nothing but sales literature (which my team agree we value a great deal more)!

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatSpike:**

When you talk to them, ask about all their services! There's never a hard sale and therefore you might miss out on some cost effective products or service offerings that you didn't know were available to you. For example we have primarily used ThreatSpike's IDS solution across our estate, but as soon as we learned about ThreatSpike RED we jumped at the service because it was perfect for what we previously have outsourced elsewhere.

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have a 24/7 managed SOC which ensures maximum responsiveness to any events that may occur. As an MSP this is invaluable and allows us to practively be looking for threats, misconfigurations and address security bulletins. We can't contol all aspects of our end-user's behaviour, so this solution gives us a much needed capability in covering as many attack vectors as possible.

  ### 20. Top quality service and support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ross C. | VP of Technology

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatSpike?**

Arranging a pen test is so simple and they take time to understand what is really important to the organisation. The reports are clear and easy to understand at all levels including recommendations. The service is such good value for money and pays for itself after a small number of uses.

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

The portal could be more user friendly for those less technical, or allow simple customisable exports that can be shared.

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThreatSpike RED is ensuring that we always know our weaknesses and spend does not get in the way of doing the right thing; with year round option of pen testing of our infrastructure, systems and applications we are not waiting for an arbitrary yearly checkpoint to highlight issues. ThreatSpike are an extension of our team allowing focus on delivery and growth activities.

  ### 21. Execution and Quality Deliverables as per customer's need make ThreatSpike Red unique in the market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amit V. | Head of Information Security & Risk Management (Role - CISO), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatSpike?**

Understand the business requirements, Ease of Integration, Service Delivery and Excellent Customer Support

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

A customized reporting dashboard would help Non-Tech Leaders to understand the tech vulnerability much easier.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatSpike:**

A must use service, which can easily be customized and integrated with your organization Vulnerability Management - Penetration Testing Program.

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Though Digital world is bringing convenience, Cyber risk threat landscape is also growing. It's important to come out of the one time penetration testing requirements to only meet legal, regulatory & audit requirements and shift towards integrating the "Pentest as a service" in your technology environment.

This is the biggest problem which ThreatSpike Red team has addressed.

  ### 22. Top-Notch Penetration Testing by ThreatSpike

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diganta D. | Sr. Software Architect, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatSpike?**

Fixed price for unlimited penetation tests. Helpful when you have multiple applications.

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

Some pen test vendors have a web dashboard to manage customer engagements. It was not a big deal for us as I like the direct interations and meetings especially when it comes to cyber security.

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We recently engaged ThreatSpike for penetration testing and were thoroughly impressed. Their clear communication, expert testing, and comprehensive reporting set them apart. They creatively identified vulnerabilities, offering tailored remedies and ongoing support. For cybersecurity that's more than a service, ThreatSpike is your dedicated partner. Highly recommended.

  ### 23. They say they offer a service with certain features, and they deliver what they promise.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose Luis P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatSpike?**

The truth is that communication with them has been fast, and therefore efficient. It was exactly what we needed at the moment. We had some needs, they told us they had the solutions, and they did.

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

The reports have become somewhat outdated in their format for the way the industry has evolved. Nothing important in any case. By adding a couple of details and with a facelift in the graphic design, everything would be up to date.

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our case, pentesting of our platform

  ### 24. The most comprehensive and reliable security product/service.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wayne S. | Technical Practice Lead - CyberSecurity, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatSpike?**

ThreatSpike Red's all-encompassing approach leaves no stone unturned. It is by far the best value for money product in my toolkit but also the one that brings me the most assurance. I know that if the team at ThreatSpike have gone over my estate, there is virtually nothing they haven't seen. I trust in the brand and the people in their expertise and ability to dissect and triage the mountain of data that comes back from an exercise like this. I've never been let down and at best, we have managed to impress our board and secure confidence that we are using a world-class product. I've used not only the ThreatSpike Wire product but also the full RedTeam exercise including social engineering which was an eye opener to the businesses i've deployed this to in the past. Topping off the laurels of the product is the superb team that I get to interact with and will take with me wherever I go.

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

They are really good at digging and digging and being relentless in their pursuit of vulnerabilities so at the end of the day, I usually still have some explaining to do. :)

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatSpike:**

Red is an easy sell. It will give you previously unheard of and unknown areas to consider, cement your committment to maturing your CyberSecurity posture and partner you with an organisation that is skillful and actually cares about its customers all for an extremely reasonable cost.

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThreatSpike Red allows us to gain visibility into the logical and physical weaknesses of any business I've ever deployed them on. They have no doubt uncovered weaknesses that were not previously known even with a robust ISO27001, CyberEssentials Plus framework and dedicated GRC and IT Security teams.

  ### 25. ThreatSpike Red - Continuous Security Testing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatSpike?**

It's unbelieveable value for money, given the comprehensive nature of the tests that they conduct. What comes across from all my dealings with them is their command of what was being asked for, their competance and subject knowledge. ThreatSpike needed almost zero input from us before starting the tests, which means that they approach this in a realistic way. The report at the end of the process is comprehensive enough for a security team to take away and work from, but digestible enough for an uninitiated user to understand.

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

Nothing really. At the end of the process I had a report which I could base my a very approach around and very clear items for remediation. It's hard to point fingers when you're getting what you need at a fair price.

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThreatSpike gives us a single place from which to manage our security posture, allowing us to approach security in a policy and principles led way. We can now deploy customised and signed-off security frameworks from one place and track compliance against it. We are now able to operate consistently and predictably, and we were unable to do that at scale before investing. We know this because of ThreatSpike Red. ### 26. ThreatSpike Red Team Exercise

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** steve a. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatSpike?**

•	ThreatSpike needed no prior input from us about our systems so they acted like real cyber attackers equivalent to super competent, organised crime level hackers which gave a realistic outcome to the exercise
•	In the resulting report, the explanation about the steps taken in the exercise, the colour coded grid view of issues found including for each item the likelihood, impact & risk level (low, med, high, critical) and the detailed explanation of each issue along with the appropriate technical detail gave a clear account of what we had to address and in what order of importance
•	ThreatSpike offered up help and resolutions to each issue which made the task of us remediating them much easier and ‘right first time’
•	Although deeply technical by their nature, ThreatSpike were able to create a management summary using ‘words of English’ making complex issues understandable to the non technical. As a result, my job as the IT Director of explaining the current status and risks to the board and gaining their support for visibility, priority and funds to improve our security posture was made far easier

**What do you dislike about ThreatSpike?**

Before, during and after the exercise I found ThreatSpike to be super helpful and the resulting report gave me exactly what I needed so there was nothing to dislike other than some of the issues they found which have now been fixed !

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatSpike:**

Be comfortable letting ThreatSpike do their thing and finding as many holes in your security landscape as they can. Then make sure you fix them with the help, advice and support of ThreatSpike should you need it. It's worth every penny of the cost to repeat the exercise at least once every year as one way or another the cost of a breach will almost definitely be significantly higher

**What problems is ThreatSpike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The purpose of this Red Team exercise was for ThreatSpike to perform a review of our ability to detect and withstand a targeted cyber attack. This included them identifying potential weaknesses and vulnerabilities in the security of our IT systems as well as testing employee resistance to social engineering attacks and malicious email threats. In order to simulate a real attack as closely as possible, it was important that ThreatSpike remain undetected by our colleagues or IT team during the exercise and they were very successful in this respect.
Clearly any attack but particularly any resulting in loss of data and or loss of use of our systems would be hugely detrimental to our reputation and our ability to provide continuity of service to our customers so the benefit to us of this exercise was to understand any weaknesses we may have in our IT landscape and address them as a priority.
