**What do you like best about Notion?**

Phew, I love Notion for its automation and how it helped me define and refine my skills when I was preparing for my interview. It’s fast and accurate, and it can even handle heavy tasks that other AIs struggle with. The onboarding was pretty easy as well. I initially thought the pricing was a bit high, but over time I realized it was worth it.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It’s not very fast. It takes a while to complete some of the tasks I ask it to do, but it does eventually get them done—it just might take time. Another issue is that it isn’t very beginner-friendly. Even though I’m fairly tech-savvy, I only figured out about 50% of how to use it, and I still couldn’t work out how to assign agents to automate specific tasks for me. I mostly ended up just prompting it and getting answers.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion integrates workspace which allows multiple users to work at the same time on the same platform.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I love most about Notion is how customizable and feature-packed it really is. It totally replaced all my old spreadsheets and random notepad apps, so now all my stuff is actually organized in one place.

Day to day, I use databases, internal nested pages, and the Kanban boards, which are honestly awesome for keeping track of things. I also really like how easy it is to share just a specific page with someone instead of your whole workspace.

As for performance, it runs great. The AI has been a huge help for me, I actually built all my dashboards using it, which made setup a breeze. To be honest, I haven't even hooked up any external integrations yet, but I know the option is there and I plan to check that out down the road.

The app is super intuitive to pick up. Whenever you need help, the AI support points you in the right direction, and a couple of my friends had to reach out to their human support team before and had a really good experience getting things resolved.

Right now I’m on the free plan, but I’m definitely looking into upgrading to premium soon. The AI stuff, agents, and extra perks make it feel totally worth the investment

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I really wish they offered a free trial for the AI agents or at least a limited free tier so you could test them out before committing to a paid plan. The free plan is great, but having a small taste of those premium AI features for free would make it much easier to decide if upgrading is worth it for your setup.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Notion, my biggest problem was keeping track of everything. I had notes and tasks scattered all over the place, so I’d easily lose sight of what projects I had started, what status they were in, or who I had handed things off to. It was pretty chaotic and hard to manage.

Notion solved that completely by giving me a single, organized hub. Now I can see all my ongoing projects, track who's doing what, and keep everything structured with custom pages and Kanban boards.

Plus, having the AI right inside the app is a huge benefit. Instead of constantly switching tabs to get help, I just ask the internal AI to solve issues and figure things out right where my work already is. It saves me a ton of time and keeps me focused.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for overall life organization, including work, fitness, and nutrition. I also started using it for my Motion Design job to track project progress and keep up with client exchanges. It really helps me stay organized because I can create databases and tables to monitor my progress and keep everything in one place. I find it highly customizable, and I love the ergonomics. It feels like a second brain, with multiple tools that I can adapt in different ways depending on what I need across different areas. For its price, it’s pretty awesome. It's the first tool where I started using AI in a way that was more then juste experimentation, and the integration of tools is intuitive. I now have a massive architecture in my projects and it runs perfectly. Until now I just had one exchange with Notion support and they were very helpfull.

The integration of the multiple columns in Notion is sometimes a little hard to handle. It is less intuitive than other mechanisms

I recognize that Notion's greatest strength is its incredible flexibility as an all-in-one workspace that seamlessly merges notes, databases, and project management. Its modular, block-based architecture empowers users to design highly customized systems that perfectly match their unique organizational workflows.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Notion's endless flexibility is also its biggest drawback. Without an opinionated structure, users often spend more time architecting their workspace than actually doing the work, and as databases grow, the platform can suffer from slow load times and a frustratingly limited offline mode.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like that Notion is easy to interact with and can be integrated with other APIs, AIs, and LLMs, allowing me to customize it in any way I want. The customization aspect is great, as I can design Notion in any way I prefer. It has a built-in AI that lets me describe what I want to build, and it creates it for me, making it quicker and easier to build pages and databases without having to learn everything manually. The integration with APIs enables me to automate a lot of my workflows, like an ingestion workflow that updates from my Notion databases and pages automatically twice a day. This automation, combined with a single source of knowledge accessible to all my LLMs, makes Notion a valuable technical knowledge repository with a UI front end.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I do see that I eat through my allotted tokens fairly quickly if I begin using agents, which seems to be a common issue in the AI industry right now. I've moved away from using agents in favor of external ones running on my machines. I've noticed some limitations in terms of linking different pages and object types between different pages in Notion databases. As a programmer and IT professional, I was hoping for more capabilities with object linking, but they are just not there.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me track projects and technical information, manages project inventories, and automates tasks. Its AI builds pages quickly, and API integrations let me automate workflows, creating a central knowledge source for my LLMs.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like most about Notion is the way artificial intelligence is integrated into the product. It helps me a lot in refining texts, creating summaries, and organizing larger content. I also often use it to reorganize pages I've already written, presenting the information in a different and often easier-to-consume way.
Another point I consider excellent is the calendar. Since I use multiple email accounts, having all appointments centralized in one place makes my daily life much easier. The integration between the calendar and the rest of Notion works very well and makes planning more practical.
I also found the initial setup experience very intuitive. It's easy to start using the tool, create new pages, and structure a basic organization without having to spend much time learning how everything works.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

One point I didn't like, although I'm not sure if this still happens, is that some time ago I felt limitations when trying to create more advanced pages. The best example is when I wanted to use certain parts of Notion as if they were an Excel spreadsheet, trying to integrate some chart.

In some cases, I missed more robust features to work with data, formulas, and more complex structures. This ended up limiting a bit what I could build within the tool itself, making me resort to other solutions for tasks I would like to keep centralized in Notion.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize my weekly workflow, quickly creating pages and keeping different projects and contexts well-structured. Artificial intelligence helps me refine, summarize, and organize content, making documentation and note-taking much more practical. I also make extensive use of the integrated calendar to centralize all my appointments in one place. Overall, Notion helps me keep everything organized, reduces the time I spend managing information, and makes it easier to focus on work without constantly switching between various tools.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I've been using Notion for years now, and the thing that keeps me here is that I stopped needing five other tools. Notes, project tracking, documentation, personal stuff, it all lives in one place and actually connects. Databases are the real unlock. Once you realize a page can be a row in a table and you can view that same data as a board, a calendar, or a list depending on what you need, it changes how you organize everything.It's also fast to start with. You open a blank page and type. No setup ritual, no picking a template before you're allowed to write anything. Then if you want structure later, you add it. Years in, that's held up. My workspace has grown a lot and the tool never got in the way.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The one thing I keep wishing for is real scripting. Something like macros in Excel, where I could write a bit of code and attach it to a button or build a proper plugin. Formulas and buttons get you partway there but hit a ceiling fast. That said, I work in security, and I understand why this doesn't exist. The second you let users run arbitrary scripts inside a shared workspace, you've created a way to host and spread malicious code across an org. A page someone shares with you becomes an execution vector. That's a hard problem to solve safely, so I get the tradeoff even though I'd love the power.

Beyond that, search could be better. When you've got a few hundred pages, finding the one you half remember writing takes longer than it should. And the flexibility cuts both ways. If you don't think about structure early, you end up with a graveyard of orphaned pages.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly it killed the "where did I put that" problem. Documentation, running notes, and task tracking used to be spread across a doc tool, a spreadsheet, and a notes app, and none of them talked to each other. Now everything is one search away and linked to the thing it relates to. Onboarding people onto a process is easier too, since I can point at one page instead of explaining where six things live.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion to help me with my research data analysis, specifically for analyzing clinical, radiological data related to therapeutic vaccines for tuberculosis. Notion has significantly accelerated my workflow, reducing it from five to seven days to just one or two days, making my job faster and offering a different insight analysis. I also appreciate the ability to use different AI models within Notion, which allows me to compare outputs, synthesize my work, filter out unnecessary information, and extract exactly what I need for a deeper understanding and better results. This feature has greatly helped improve my perspective on my research. Additionally, I found the initial setup of Notion very easy and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

As far as I've used Notion, I can't specifically point out what hasn't worked well for me. I've enjoyed every aspect, and it's been great. But I think the only thing, not a problem per se, is that most times when I'm uploading a file, I have to wait for one file to completely upload before I can upload another one. It'd be better if, as one file is uploading, I could also attach another file. This would improve workflow efficiency, but it's not really a problem for me.

I use Notion to speed up my research data analysis, making tasks that took days finish in a day or two. It enhances my analysis skills and provides insights I wouldn’t have had otherwise.

Notion AI, and its integration with every agentic app, has basically become our company brain. It’s genuinely very good. The developer portal with worker also makes it easy to set up triggers, and overall it feels best for agent collaboration.

Migration of agents from one workspace to another.

Notion is also everything. Notion is my company's brain. It's my meeting notes, my meeting note taker. It can go out to us. We use it on the phone. We track our meeting notes, construct a graph, construct plans, and construct everything.

Notion is everything for us as a startup: to think, to plan, to research, and to get actual client words and feedback. What has the client been mentioning across meeting notes? We have structured data, plan everything, and have it automatically ready, triggered, connected to our GitHub, linear, codecs, and cursor, one of the absolute best things for a startup to run.

If I have only $50 to $100, and have one option to choose it is none other than notion

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like best about Notion is its flexibility - there’s almost nothing you can’t build with it once you understand how the pieces fit together. I’ll admit I went through the classic stages with Notion: denial, resistance, searching for alternatives… but over the past three months I’ve genuinely come around to it. As a communications manager who relies on structure and discipline to keep multiple projects moving, Notion has become an essential part of how I work. Integrations are still expanding, but the team clearly keeps adding more, and the core flexibility of the tool more than makes up for it.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Honestly, it’s hard to pinpoint anything I dislike right now - I’m still fairly new to Notion, so I haven’t run into real limitations yet. If anything, I’d love to see even more flexibility as I keep exploring what’s possible, but nothing specific comes to mind at this point.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me solve communication and coordination problems - keeping the whole team on the same page. We use it to manage our content calendar so everyone can see what’s being published and when, along with what still needs to get done. 
I’m also currently testing an additional use case: using Notion as a booking system for our shared office space, and setting up automation to handle confirmation messages in response to bookings.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like best about Notion is how it replaces four or five separate tools with one flexible workspace. The block-based editor lets me drop a database, a to-do list, and long-form notes onto the same page, so my project docs and task tracking actually live together instead of scattered across apps. The database views are the standout feature for me — being able to flip the same set of tasks between a Kanban board, a calendar, and a filtered table without duplicating anything saves me a real amount of setup time each week. Templates make spinning up recurring docs (meeting notes, project briefs) almost instant, and the recent AI features are handy for quickly summarizing long pages or drafting a first pass I can edit down.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

My biggest frustration is performance. On larger pages or databases with a lot of entries, Notion can get noticeably sluggish — pages take a beat to load, and syncing across devices sometimes lags, which breaks my flow when I'm jumping between desktop and mobile. The mobile app in particular feels underpowered compared to the web version; editing complex databases on my phone is more painful than it should be. The flexibility is also a double-edged sword — the blank-canvas approach means there's a real learning curve, and it's easy to over-engineer a setup and spend more time building systems than actually using them. Offline access is still limited, which is a problem when I'm traveling. I'd love to see faster load times on heavy pages and a more capable mobile experience.

Before Notion, our team's knowledge was scattered — meeting notes in Google Docs, tasks in Trello, and project specs in random Slack threads. Nothing connected, so people constantly re-asked questions that had already been answered, and onboarding a new hire meant digging through five different tools. Notion consolidated all of that into a single searchable workspace. Now our project docs link directly to the task boards and databases they relate to, so context lives next to the work instead of in a separate app. The practical benefit has been real time savings: our weekly planning went from a scattered hour of hunting for information down to about fifteen minutes, and new team members get up to speed noticeably faster because the wiki and templates give them a self-serve starting point. It also cut our tool costs, since Notion replaced two separate paid subscriptions for us.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Keeping everything in one place: all my notes, my projects, pictures, videos, and creating shareable notes or website. 

It's a very friendly-user platform, very intuitive with a clean design. I have my Notion connected to my gmail and my Google Calendar and it works amazing.

I love the Ai agents and been able to choose between Claude, GPT and more. Everything loads very fast and the customer support is extremely fast.

And the pricing is good for the amount of work and features I can use.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

This is something recent but I don't like the credit limits on the Ai features. And the Ai agents overcomplicate things when building complex databases/systems

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work in marketing and collaborate with a lot of different brands, and Notion helps me keep all my branding resources organized in one place. I also have private pages where I track my business finances, and separate public pages that I can share with clients to explain my processes or show them content calendars.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion has become our team's single source of truth for product docs, design specs, tech architecture notes, and our roadmap. Being able to mix freeform docs with structured databases in the same tool means we don't have to bounce between a wiki and a project tracker. The linking between pages makes it easy to connect a feature spec to the roadmap item and the design doc, so context never gets lost. AI features for quick summarization and drafting have also saved us time when turning meeting notes into structured docs.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The biggest downside for us is performance on pages with a lot of blocks or large databases. Big pages can take a few seconds to load and scrolling gets janky once a database view has thousands of rows with several linked relations. Search across the workspace is also hit or miss when you're looking for something buried a few levels deep in nested pages, and permissions management across a growing number of teamspaces can get confusing. A more powerful native search and better handling of large databases would go a long way.

Before Notion, our knowledge was scattered across Google Docs, Slack threads, and a couple of separate project trackers, which meant new team members took a long time to ramp up and it was easy for decisions to get lost. Notion gave us one place to document product specs, track projects with linked databases, and keep our roadmap up to date, all cross-referenced with backlinks. That's cut down the time we spend hunting for context before starting new work and made onboarding new teammates much faster since everything they need lives in one connected workspace.

What I appreciate most about Notion is how it eliminates that "app-using fatigue". Instead of having task managers all condensed into one app, documentation in another, and project plans in a spreadsheet, I build everything directly inside connected databases - it's a full integrated loop to me. My favorite feature is the relational database rollup. I can tie a specific project brief page to a master client database and roll up deadline statuses automatically. That single workflow saves me almost 3 to 4 hours a week

The initial setup can feel overwhelming due to its blank-canvas nature and steep learning curve for complex database relations. Additionally, performance can noticeably lag on mobile devices or when loading large, content-heavy pages.

Notion solved our problem of using too many different apps, it brought all our docs and tasks into one place. Before we was constantly losing track of project notes, but now everything is linked together which saves us tons of time every week. And... another one of the main issues Notion solves is scattered documentation across the team, making it hard for find information. Having templates for everything have really speeded up our onboarding process and kept all our files organized.

Since it is so versatile, it would be useful to have agents or levels of understanding for creativity. Sometimes that overwhelms people and they prefer to leave it; it's not that it isn't versatile or that it should be reduced, but there are lacking ways to guide the user. Depending on what they want to use Notioon for, they could create basic things at the beginning and offer interactive tours for new users, because many get overwhelmed and end up leaving.

I have attention deficit and, for me, maintaining order, record-keeping, and continuity in processes is extremely difficult. Notion has helped me build spaces and tools to cope with this, and I have achieved greater performance and more accomplishments. Additionally, I have been able to interconnect tools and create a high-performance ecosystem.

By allowing me to collaborate with clients and other team members to deliver great results and a fraction of the time and cost. We are able to do this all for a low monthly rate because of how good the pricing is.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love the simplicity of Notion. It's very clean, easy to use, and minimal. I feel like my life is organized in one place, and I can track, organize, and review all my activities. I also appreciate that there are not many software options like Notion that provide such features and simplicity. The updates are great, and I am very satisfied with the evolution of the software. Since the initial setup, it has been easy to become a Notion pro user. I even run a startup, NotionSmith, where we design and scale Notion templates, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Currently, I don’t think Notion needs any improvement, the team is doing good. They are having great updates. The only thing I feel is that it should give more CRM vibe for complex tasks like Salesforce, Zoho, Odoo. Since Notion templates can handle CRMs and other related work, the issue is it can’t provide many features that are essential. For example, for a sales tracker, the template creator has to put many connections to make it dynamic.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Notion uses Markup for note taking. Once learned, you can take notes very fast and easilty cut/copy/paste between Notion, Jira, Mail etc. Best thing about Notion is that you can nest pages indefinitely, which makes organising your scribblings a breeze. Mix with databases you can extend the functionality and Notion is more a live application than it is a note taking app. Free tier has a lot of functionality already. Importing from Evernote actually works! Amazingly well! And the killer feature of Notion is AI Meeting Notes. Notion really does an excellent job transscribing and then summarizing your meetings, in any language. Notion integrates with my calendars and mail. The performance of Notion is excellent, after years of usage Notion hasn't become bloatware like Evernote did. Pricing for the professional tier is almost a no-brainer, with the AI Meeting Notes. Onboarding to Notion may be a bit of a steep learning curve, but if you're not using all of the features on day one you can easily trickle your way in into Notion.

The learning curve for mastering every feature of the product is steep and a bit daunting. I sometimes feel I don't belong in the Notion sphere of users as I only use basic functionality... as if I should not be using Notion. That said, Notion does everything I want it to - and then some.

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I love about Notion is how easily I can edit my workspace and how it supports me when I’m working inside a workspace or database. For example, if I need to add something or I’m feeling a bit lost, Notion can help me out. It helps me refine my database and rearrange things, so instead of doing everything manually, I can use Notion AI and make my process faster.

Another way Notion AI helped me was with studying. I had done my research and needed to learn something within 14 days, but the material was so long, it was basically one huge document I had to get through. What I did was put it into my Notion workspace and ask Notion AI to break it into tasks I could follow. It even found relevant links related to the course, so it basically built me a mini course with a checklist and a task tracker. It broke everything down in an actionable way, so on day one I know what link I’m supposed to use for that day, then day two, and so on throughout the week.

For me, Notion solves my organization problem. Before Notion, I had tasks spread across different tools, but since I started using it, especially once I got the hang of it, it has become my source of truth. Everything I work on is centralized, and I can group it all into one workspace.

For example, I might have a few different things going on at the same time: client work, my personal goals, and tasks I’m supposed to complete, along with things I need to learn. I put all of that into Notion. Each area can have its own page, but everything still lives within one workspace, so it’s easy for me to access whatever I need.

I also love that I can brainstorm easily whenever I’m inside the workspace, especially with Notion AI. I can quickly generate ideas and then refine or improve what I’ve written.

It not only has the functionality of multiple apps (Tasks, Notes, Database, CRM), but it’s also very intuitive and easy to use. You don’t need to invest a lot of time setting things up to get started right away.  You can essentially configure it for your use as you go.

It’s not a huge deal, but the text formatting options feel a bit limited. For example, when I paste content from emails or documents, it doesn’t always keep the same formatting or look consistent.

I have found Notion incredibly useful for both personal and business purposes.  I used it daily.  For business, I use it for CRM and project management.  The database management is deeply customizable in terms of creating fields, views, and even automations and forms.  I can set it up to work exactly the way I want for managing accounts, orders, opportunities, vendors, projects, tasks, etc.  And I can easily create and modify database structures and views on the fly while I'm entering data.  No need to go to a special "Settings" or "Set up" area to make changes.  Literally as I'm creating or editing a record, I can add/edit/remove fields, views, etc.   For personal use it's valuable for travel planning, home projects, managing medical information, etc.   

Notion brilliantly combines the functionality of multiple apps (notes, tasks, CRM, database) into one very flexible solution.  One of the most powerful, but seemingly simple, aspects of Notion is it's hybrid database/notes structure.  For simple note-taking purposes, you can create "pages" on which you can add or embed different types of content.  But when you create a database, each record is itself also a page.  That is, besides a record containing the fields you create  (dates, dropdowns, numbers, etc.)  it's also a page in which you can add free-form information, as well as sub-pages or even other databases.   And all data can be easily related to each other, so it's simple to keep track of info and jump to exactly what you need.  Features like templates, automations, and AI, make workflows even smoother and more efficient.   It's a powerhouse app that I don't know what I would do without.

What I appreciate most is how one database can become five different things depending on who's looking at it. Ops can view it as a kanban board, someone scheduling meetings can flip it to a calendar, and leadership can pull up a clean table for reporting, but it's all the same underlying data. Nobody's manually updating three versions of the same list.

It's also genuinely great for onboarding. Once you've built out your SOPs and templates properly, bringing on a new hire or spinning up a new project stops being a whole production. You duplicate a template, fill in the specifics, and you're moving. For teams that are growing fast or managing a lot of moving pieces at once, that consistency saves real time and headaches.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I'll be honest about where it falls short, though. It's not going to replace a proper CRM if your team lives and dies by pipeline tracking; HubSpot or Salesforce still does that better. And once your databases get big and tangled with relations, things can start to feel a bit sluggish.

What I find Notion especially good at right now is how easy the UI/UX is for navigating across all the pages you create. We use AI a lot - Codex or Claude - and the integrations with them are extremely easy. We can just ask the agent to update a page we created by hand, and it makes everything look nice and polished.

Moving from page to page feels slick and smooth, and I haven’t noticed any downtime. It’s also super cheap and affordable; good luck trying to vibe-code Notion, because they’ve already made it feel pretty close to perfect. On top of that, they have a solid onboarding experience with interactive guides and a helpful knowledge base. We also tried their AI chatbot and it’s very intelligent, but if you have a subscription you can just connect via MCP and it does the same thing.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I really can’t find anything I didn’t like about Notion. I do wish it were FREE, but if it were free then you probably wouldn’t use it at all. You pay for a reason, and I honestly love everything about Notion - it’s truly a one-stop shop for documentation.

SOPs! We need every department to have their steps clearly broken down, with color-coding and embedded videos, since some of us learn better with moving guides. We also love integrating with JIRA because our dev team uses JIRA a lot, and connecting what they do to Notion helps us get a grasp of what’s even happening. TBH, nothing else quite like Notion exists. I’ve worked with seven different companies/clients, and all of them use the Notion workspace to manage PRDs, internal docs, and everything else. Once you get the hang of it, it’s the best product in this space. With connectors and MCP, it works seamlessly with our ecosystem and workflows. Especially coming from a tech background, Notion is awesome.

The initial onboarding isn’t very good. It took me a while to get used to using Notion workspaces and everything. Even now, there are multiple features I’ve only discovered recently, so improving the guides or adding clearer walkthroughs would be genuinely amazing. Also, the feature that lets you view the diff between multiple versions of a file helps a lot.

I typically use Notion to keep track of files, PRDs, and engineering docs for myself, and I use the workspace to organize and manage everything. Maintaining API docs and technical handovers in GitHub is very time-consuming and not easily accessible, since it’s distributed across multiple branches. Notion lets me arrange these materials cleanly in folders and spaces, with proper role-based sharing. The MCP and connector also automate the entire workflow for me, which makes it much easier to keep things up to date.

What I like most about Notion is its flexibility. I can build databases around the way my business actually operates instead of being forced into a rigid system. It has become the central database for my accounting practice, while I use other AI and development tools to handle automation and more technical work.

Notion AI has also improved over time and is useful for finding and summarizing information stored in my workspace.

The main area I would like to see improved is automation and AI integration. I would love for Notion AI to become more capable of taking actions across databases, updating records reliably, and handling multi-step workflows with less manual setup. Love the ease of use, the exporting features, and how it connects to Slack. I'm getting it for free through the education plan which I love, and the uptime has never been an issue. I had to contact their support time a while ago, and it was a great experience. I've played with the AI agent built in, and it's been able to search all my pages quite fast and get me what I need.

I don't like how limited the use of the AI chat is. I also wish I could edit anonymously without signing in (useful if I want to send something to a friend to quickly touch up, and they don't want to make an account).

I like that Notion allows for opportunity to have team workspaces as well as an individual workspace to brainstorm and collaborate on projects. The ability to utilize the AI capabilities also allows for quick outlines to be made and helps with developing complex ideas and plans. Notion also has the ability to integrate other tools we use as a team for our projects, so it really is helpful in bringing everything together in one place.

The overall design of the platform is okay, but when you have many different workspaces it can sometimes be hard to navigate within the tool bar. My team also at first had some issues within the new member setup when we were adding members to our team. It was not entirely clear what we needed to do to establish the new users. I do wish Notion could parse information directly from PDFs that are uploaded. I have weekly tracking sheets I would love to be able to drag and drop into a database and have the system read the PDF and pull the totals into the database for easy viewing. I think the meeting transcription could be a little better, as it currently spits out so much information that it's hard to grasp the overall roadmap of the meeting just from looking at it. It took a little bit of a learning curve, but the online support videos were very helpful.

I appreciate that the AI allows me to use documents I upload or create as a datastore to be able to generate other documents, get summaries on meetings, etc.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The UI is often unwieldy, especially when dealing with databases. Also, it would be fantastic to have the option to treat a database like a real database RE queries, etc. It's pretty good now, but could be better.
It would also be fantastic to have more ability to create dynamic pages. The process often feels unwieldy there as well.
Not being able to use regular IMAP email as a connection is very limiting. I don't prefer to trust all my email to GMail.

I use it a lot right now to connect conversations from meetings and documents from clients to generate proposals and summaries through AI agents. I appreciate that set up right now--it's pretty well done I think.

It makes it very easy to access all the information about the organisation. I found it especially helpful as a new hire, because it helped me quickly learn the background and common knowledge. It can be run as a desktop application or in the browser, and it uses minimal system resources when it’s not in use. It also has a built-in AI chatbot, and you can grant it access to your documents to help you get work done faster.

The downsides are minimal, however I would appreciate if the desktop version of the application would consume slightly less RAM when not in use (however this tends to be a limitation of web apps in general and isn't particularly the fault of the notion team).

I primarily use it for taking notes, planning, strategizing, and sometimes even brainstorming. One thing I like most is the database feature, which works really well for organizing dashboards and can be easily integrated to fill data automatically. I’ve mostly moved from maintaining dashboards in Google Sheets to using Notion instead. The platform UX is sleek and modern (no problems there). No issues in performance. The pricing feels a little too high compare to options available. Onboarding new team members is easy. About the AI intelligence and capabilities - I am still evaluating - mostly I used it to generate summaries.

The pricing bit. That's all. Pricing is a little too complex also now different for AI and Note taking capapbilities.

Before Notion, our information lived across our old knowledge base and Teams conversations, finding anything meant pinging the one person who remembered where it was. Notion's Knowledge Management tools give us a single, organized home for everything, so information actually gets used instead of archived.
The AI Agents and AI Writing Assistant have also been a real productivity unlock — drafting, summarizing, and surfacing relevant context without manual digging. And Enterprise Search does exactly what it promises: what used to be a multi-tab hunt is now a single query. Together, these have cut down real hours of "where is that thing" time across our team.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Honestly, there's not much to dislike, my main friction point is that Notion is such a robust system that it takes real effort to figure out how to use it to its full potential. There are a ton of great tutorial videos on YouTube, but no clear sequence to follow, so I end up googling a question and cycling through videos hoping one covers what I need. A simple, guided step-by-step onboarding path (versus a scattered library of individual videos) would make it much easier to unlock everything the platform offers.

Notion is solving the problem of scattered company knowledge that used to live across our old knowledge base and Teams conversations, where finding anything meant tracking down the one person who remembered where it was. Its Knowledge Management tools give us a single, organized home for that information, so it actually gets used instead of sitting archived and forgotten.
It's also solving the "time lost searching" problem, Enterprise Search turns what used to be a multi-tab hunt into a single query, and the AI Agents and AI Writing Assistant cut down the manual work of drafting, summarizing, and pulling together relevant context. Altogether, this saves our team real hours that used to go into hunting for information or recreating it from scratch.

I like the freedom to be able to work in whatever format I want. Like I can include CRMs, lists, tables whatever and every single aspect of written documentation that I need can be in Notion.
UI/UX are super useful and I appreciate the integrations with Granola. Performance is fine. Pricing is ok, but I have a startup so I have to. I've never had to interact with support/onboarding so I can't speak on that. AI Agents are very helpful.

Price is not great. Also I dislike that sometimes you have to make sure agents are doing what you want them to.

Three things I like: it’s easy to build with, it has a wide community, and there’s a marketplace for ready-made solutions.

1. Offline mode doesn’t work properly in shared workspaces.
2. Access is a nightmare to set up. It’s too easy to accidentally add someone as a guest to a dashboard instead of adding them as a member.
3. The Billing section is confusing. Recently, when a new workspace was added, it automatically switched the workspace to Free even though I was in the Business trial phase.
