## About NetSupport Notify
Enhance communication and boost emergency and lockdown procedures Using NetSupport Notify, schools and businesses can communicate effectively with staff (and students) using one-way alerts and notifications – sending them to desktop users across the organisation, those working remotely on school/work devices, those who are currently offline, and even to large information panels in halls and foyers. It provides a welcome backup for existing technology failures (such as e-mail) and provides a perfect way to support risk assessments and support your health and social distancing communication – for example, reminding users to use hand sanitiser or to maintain group bubbles. Alerts automatically take screen focus, meaning they can’t be hidden, ignored or saved for later. The notifications can even be targeted to select groups and scheduled for maximum impact. Scaling to the largest of schools/businesses with multiple sites, NetSupport Notify also provides real-time status of notifications and acknowledgements − as well as delivering pre-scheduled alerts. When creating notifications you can use shortcuts for easy customisations, plus notifications include the names of the sender so users can better understand the nature of the message. Simple to implement and use, and with fast and reliable alerts, NetSupport Notify helps ensure staff (and students) instantly have the information they need to work effectively and stay safe in any emergency situation.

**What do you like best about NetSupport Notify?**

NetSupport Notify allows us to communicate quickly & effectively with all staff at once, as well as being able to send emssages to a smaller group if needed. The console is easy to navigate, and it is so quick & easy to use!

**What do you dislike about NetSupport Notify?**

Bing able to sift through the previously used messages could be made easier to use, but the program on the whole is easy to use and navigate.

**What problems is NetSupport Notify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This softwware allows us to send out a message to the masses, making it quick & easy to contact everyone so they are all aware of any last minute changes or messages. We also use the software to communicate with a smaller number of staff rather than disrupt lessons, like when we need a student sending out of class to the main office.

**What do you like best about NetSupport Notify?**

Being able to communicate with all of our users that have the agent is great for when we need to get a message out urgently.

**What do you dislike about NetSupport Notify?**

Had a slight problem with pushing out the installer but the support team were really prompt with their response and were able to help resolve this.

**What problems is NetSupport Notify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us by being a fast and alternative route to get messages out to staff rather than relying on email's that can be behind a different window / tab.
This allows us to fill the screen with our message so it can't be missed.

**What do you like best about NetSupport Notify?**

I love net support notify, it's very easy to use, you can send quick messages to all users or target certain users or even teams if you set it up that way. User can't ignore the message and it's massive! The ability to target groups of users makes this product amazing and also the fact you can see which users have seen your message, stops the "I didn't see your message" scenario because you can see they've clicked OK to dismiss the message! This can be intergrated with AD and GPO and also be deployed with MSI on GPO which, once you've got the policies correct, means the program is install automatically on the next GPUpdate. 

**What do you dislike about NetSupport Notify?**

The only downside was deploying this automatically across the network was a little difficult, however support was very good when I called them and guided me through the best practice for setting the GPO specifically for their product

**Recommendations to others considering NetSupport Notify:**

I did extensive research on this product and I can highly reccomend it.

**What problems is NetSupport Notify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need a quicker communication method to all my end users than email and NetSupport Notify smashed our requirements. We grew very sick and tierd of users claiming not so to see emails and ending up ultimately costing the company downtime that was always placed on the IT Dept's shoulders, never the team who didn't listen to the emails going around. This software gives you proof that your message was read by the users and accountability if issues arrise because a user didn't listen

**What do you like best about NetSupport Notify?**

Netsupport Notify, like NS Manager, is an easy-to-install early warning system. In theory, this is a good thing. The icon is a pretty red, easily distinguishable from the blue icon of its sister program. 

**What do you dislike about NetSupport Notify?**

The program just didn't work like we had hoped it would. It was too easy for those in charge of sending the notifications to accidentally send notifications, and then the software became the "program who cried wolf". No one paid it any mind after the third misfire message, and so it became mostly useless to us. 

**Recommendations to others considering NetSupport Notify:**

If you can properly train those sending out the notifications and work out the misfire bugs, I can see it being a good early warning system. The more the better. 

**What problems is NetSupport Notify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Additional early-warning system. It would have been good for those using their computers with sound-deafening earbuds, who both couldn't hear the sirens and see the flashing lights in the building, or those off-site coming back on-site.
