**What do you like best about Mouseflow?**

This tool helps us uncover actionable behavioral insights, such as user engagement and user flows, which in turn help us make pivotal decisions and build a better user experience.

**What do you dislike about Mouseflow?**

The main issue I’ve noticed is the session replay option. Sometimes the replay isn’t clear, and it ends halfway through. On top of that, some sessions don’t get tracked at all, so we have to rely on another platform to fill in the gaps.

**What problems is Mouseflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use different landing pages for our campaigns, and with Mouseflow we can see where most users click, how far they scroll, and how they interact with forms and other elements. This helps us tweak and adjust the content or design so we can give users more of what they’re looking for.

We have been using this tool for more than 5 years and it fulfils what we want most from the tool.

Mouseflow provides incredible insight into user behavior through session recordings, heatmaps, and conversion funnels. It’s easy to implement and integrates smoothly with our clients' stack. I especially like how intuitive the dashboard is, it helps identify usability issues quickly and track how users actually interact with our clients' websites. The form analytics and feedback tools are also great for optimizing conversion rates.

While powerful, the tool can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming when analyzing large volumes of data. The session recordings take time to load occasionally, and filtering options could be more advanced. Pricing can also scale up quickly if you have high traffic volumes. Overall, these are minor drawbacks compared to the value it provides.

There hasn't been any new features that have been relevant for our needs that we use on a regular basis.

**What do you dislike about Mouseflow?**

I would like to see  a way that you can see insight trends over a period of time to help with impacts of changes made to the website user experience.  It would be nice if you could download aggregate data as well.

**What problems is Mouseflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us understand how our users are navigating our website.  Where they are clicking on pages as well as how far the scroll (if at all).  Having this information helps us develop our pages and features to be more user friendly or to address a potential issue of friction when navigating our website.

I sometimes have to search for my active page. There may be a way to put the older pages in a folder but I haven't discovered it yet.

Its very easy to use and easy to integrate with the wen\bsite.

Its very difficult to Check the funnel in the lead generation form on our website. We have cross checked the end user % in our backend and in mouseflow website integration and its never the same and huge difference with the actial numbers.

Basically through mouseflw we want to see how and when our users are going of the website by checking session recordings and heatmap. According t oit we have changed our UI and UX and added some extra features so that the bounce rate went low as compare dto before.

Sometimes it's hard to filter through all the session recordings. I can take time to find the ones that really matter unless i set up proper filters.

We always aim to improve user experience of our website as a digital marketer and this has enabled us to recognize Mouseflow’s importance. More specifically, session replay has enabled us to obtain unmatched information about user behavior thereby enabling us to recognize pain points and optimize user journeys with laser precision. Advantages i see 1 is Intuitive Session Replay: At every single session, we can see each activity carried out by individuals visiting our website from the mouse movements to clicks made on it by utilizing this Mouseflow option in the replay mode.

**What do you dislike about Mouseflow?**

Cons i see one as the Data Overload: Too much information could sometimes make it hard to find what you need. Though small in comparison, it’s still worth the value overall. and other is the Pricing.

Implementation requires minimal technical effort. The interface is intuitive, allowing quick access to the most critical data without unnecessary complexity. The customer support is outstanding—responsive and knowledgeable, offering solutions promptly whenever I've encountered minor issues or had questions. It has a wide range of features, and new ones are frequently added, although I haven't fully explored them all yet. Currently, I use the app approximately once a week. Regarding ease of integration, we haven't fully explored all integration possibilities, so I'm unable to evaluate that aspect thoroughly.

**What do you dislike about Mouseflow?**

One area for improvement, especially for small businesses with limited budgets and lower traffic volumes, could be extending the archive duration at more affordable pricing.

I have been using Mouseflow for several years now. The recordings and insights not only help my own website. 

Above all, it makes it much easier for me to suggest changes to my customers that are based on data rather than a feeling! In general, the dashboard and conditions are very simple and intuitive.

Nothing special at this moment. I have been using the tool for many years.

**What do you like best about Mouseflow?**

It has recordings of the users who are all using the website, we can calculate CSAT using this tool, we have heatmaps and funnels, and segments, we have filters to get the data accordingly. Based on each page we can see the low and high friction rates. it is easy to implement and we are using it frequently, the CTM team is very good they are responding very quickly and it is easy to implement with any website.

It is a little costly for small businesses and no sessions are limited for free use. We can't download the reports.

Easy to use and it allows us to track conversion funnels, heatmaps, scroll tracking, movement tracking, form abandonment, recorded sessions, and much more. It is a very robust product. It is also easy to get started and easy to integrate onto the website when using GTM.

The WordPress plugin to integrate MF onto a website is over a year old and untested with the current version of WP. It would be nice if they kept the plugin up-to-date.

It let's us know how well the site flows for the user, where the friction is, and where that is causing problems. It also allows us to track user activity in a number of ways to help determine areas of the site where adjustments need to be made. Mouseflow allows you to watch the actual video recordings of users visiting your website.  You will be able to watch their movements, see where pain points are and drop-offs and much more.  Very useful data.  Also their heatmaps are useful as well.  The platform is an excellent value for the price.

**What do you dislike about Mouseflow?**

We would like to see better integration with programs like Calendly so we can see how they interact with setting an appointment.  iframes can cause issues with Mouseflow showing them.  I would also like to see more funnels allowed with the basic package.  Only one funnel is really kind of useless (but helpful to see in action).

**What problems is Mouseflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mouseflow is helping us better visualize the user journal from entrance to exit through our site.  We are seeing areas where user activity can be improved and our sites can be modified for better engagement / conversions.

The best thing is it offers a heatmap which shows where the users click and move their mouse. For example I can see our site visitors like to click the arrow on our support banner. For those important parts where it gets less attention, we would immediately find out, and thus improve it.

It offers only 15,000 sessions for a payment of $128 a month, so we used all the sessions in less than 10 days... The most valuable function to us are the heatmaps. We don't need Mouseflow to record every single user session every day, which could require more webspace on the servers I guess?  We definitely are not going to check all 15,000 sessions. We only expect it to offer heatmaps which can summarize the patterns of user on our site.

There's function called form funnels and I find that quite useful, so we know where the users dropped out.

Mouseflow really delivered, especially with their technical support. Very fast, very knowledgeable and hands-on. It was really easy to integrate it with my site, spread across different subdomains.

I can't say I dislike anything so far. Everything I needed to do I was able to do.

I find the session replays and the scroll heatmap to be the most useful. It really shows me where I'm losing leads. It took me no time to learn how to use it. It took me 5 mins to set up. I needed customer service once because of an issue on my website's end at it was easy to talk to someone. I use it daily and it fits perfectly with the other ways that I am testing messaging.

I find it annoying that I have to login so frequently. I wish that I could stay logged in longer.

I use the Heat Maps and the SCROLL heat mat in particular to  analyze my Unbounce pages and modify accordingly. It is an invaluable tool in a complex system of direct sales. Just yesterday I used Mouseflow and my Sales Pages went from 11% of humans visiting the page getting to the fist BUY button to 50%.  It's remarkable. Without Mouseflow, I'd be working in a vacuum, not knowing WHAT isn't working for customers.

So many features, it's overwhelming to know which ones to use, so I stick to one.

The session Replay function helps me to find obsticles user stumble over that never come up during testing with power users. The implementation from a user perspective is easy and the tutorials helpful for first time users. I use mouseflow daily, when I am researching a specific problem. For smaller tools/pages it might be enough to look at mouseflow once a week or once a month. The customer support can be really helpful, when struggling with technical stuff.

For our tools, the heatmaps are not realy an advantage.

I do not have easy access to testers as our apps are really specific and not easy to understand. With the Session Replay, I can review real usage of our tools and identify problems based on real evidance and not on individual empathy hypothesis.
The session recordings can be focused really good to only track specific pages, so I don't need to see a lot of steps that do not concern me.
I can filter the recordings to find groups of users that are important for my research e.g. users that exited on a specific step etc. That helps me to focus on the users that "gave up" and lets me find the hard struggles in our tools.

I liek to see the session recordings, this helps to understand where the issues are that customers may not able to  finish the checkout.

**What do you dislike about Mouseflow?**

The issue is that the CSS may get not stored for the sessions. So if the CSS on the original page is changing, old alresady done records will loose the CSS and the design are broken. So it would be good if the CSS at the tiem the recording has been taken is kept stored at mouseflow itself. Because a lot of CSS are using in the link a time pattern or time code so it will not be cached when it get changed.

**What problems is Mouseflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Technical isues which hinders customers to finish the checkout.

Mouseflow is a tool with various features, that complement each other. It can support the life of a user researcher, if understanding what possibilites Mouseflow has.

With help, the implementation is doable and the customer support is very good.

**What do you dislike about Mouseflow?**

For every day User Research tasks, it can be a little bit over engineered - as a User Researcher you may need extra help, to get all the value out of Mouseflow. Since it is only one out of mny tools and methods for a researcher, it sometimes gets a little bit lost in the daily work. 

For some Research questions it's very helpful, for others it's not that easy to synthesize clear key insights. It is really depending on the daily research questions, some would have. For an User Researcher it's not that easy to use. And not that frequent in usage.

**What problems is Mouseflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can see, when User leave a specific flow. We can see clickrates and scrollrates on different subpages.

I've used a number of heatmapping tools and I feel like mouseflow has a few key differentiators; specifically in terms of ease of use and features. One key features is the ability to leverage tags and custom variables. Custom variables were really easy to configure and deploy to our instance and we're seeing a number of users gravitating to this feature specifically.

No downsides noted to date. But we are only a week into our deployment.

**What do you like best about Mouseflow?**

Mouseflow has helped numerous clients understand conversion blockers on their websites. Being able to see these live has helped bring down barriers to change with clients embracing the insights and being more open to making changes. 

Some other positives for us:

- Confirming a hypothesis with a mix of live recordings and heat maps doesn't take long at all.
- Integration is super simple with GTM.
- From sign up to implementation within an hour (if you control GTM!)
- Easy to use privacy controls for sensitive / personal data.

**What do you dislike about Mouseflow?**

There were a few things that we felt could be improved:

- Control over credit usage on lower plans
- With lots of data you need to find your own insights which is Ok however maybe some form of AI recommendations (similar to what GA4 does).

**What problems is Mouseflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mouseflow is allowing us to give clients data that allows them to make data-driven decisions, rather than emotional / opinion-driven decisions. This helps us put the brakes on potential harmful changes and work towards making changes that make sense based on the data we receive.

Dashboard, sesson replay, heat maps.  Use these every day

**What do you dislike about Mouseflow?**

Have to log back in every day.  Not hard to do, but I had to choose something!

**What problems is Mouseflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Page layout.  Page look & feel (massive A/B testing is easy with Mouseflow).  Google Analytics used to provide some info on this, but with GA4 this was too hard to access.  Mouseflow replaced this function, and has lower latencey than Google.  
Watching mouse movement is important.  This helped us realize that nobody was ever looking at one of our products.  Thought we were loosing business to our competition, but discovered that there was just no interest.  Our competition is still spending $$$ pushing that product, but we discontinued it and saved all the $$$.
