
We use Mintel for new business pitches, when breaking into a new sector for an existing client, or when doing consumer persona building. We pull the graphs and statistics into our existing client decks to beef up what we're presenting and add solid stats to the idea we're pitching to a client. I love how deep the Mintel insights go. Their reports are very in-depth, with dozens of graphs (or varying styles-- bar, pie, radar plots, etc), case study examples, and well-written insights paragraphs. The sample sizes are large enough to seem representative (usually 2,000+ respondents in each survey they report on). The questions go deep into the top questions a brand may have when targeting users buying within a specific industry. Our Mintel rep is also very responsive and has helped pull together short decks with stats from sectors outside the scope of our annual contract. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
