As an administrator, I have access to the management platform, but it's very complicated for me to create a budget because each tool has a different cost; for example, Office 365 Web or the desktop applications, and also another price for Microsoft Teams. Another thing I don't like is the login process: it is often frustrating to have to log in every time you open a program and, on many occasions, for some reason the login fails. It’s a cloud suite of programs that you can access from anywhere you have an internet connection. You can also install the desktop programs on computers you use frequently, and with one license you can install the desktop Office apps on up to five devices. If you’re signed into 365, you can still use the Office programs right in the browser and open Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other files in a browser window. It also includes tools for managing your network devices and Windows. Lately they’ve been adding a lot of AI integration, and that’s been the most useful newer addition for me, since my document workflows can live inside Copilot AI. Most people like using Outlook as their main portal for information, but Microsoft has moved away from making Outlook the central hub. Instead, they built Microsoft Teams for virtual meetings, and it also integrates with calendars and groups. Then they introduced the Microsoft Copilot app, which is another hub for AI, along with document search and access to other software. In my opinion, all of this should have been built into Outlook, since users are already most familiar with it for task management, notes, reminders, and daily workflow. These additional programs confuse many non-technical people. The OneDrive and SharePoint offerings are powerful as well, but they aren’t set up in a user-friendly way, which adds even more confusion. It offers enterprise-level tools and cloud-based services and programs to any company for a small monthly fee per user. That gives smaller businesses the chance to access complex cloud data services without needing a five-person IT department. You can build apps with no coding experience using Power Apps, create dashboards and graphs with Power BI Desktop, set up data connectors and actions, and trigger flows with Power Automate. If you store your data in their cloud, they provide tools to connect it with many other outside programs and services without requiring extreme coding skills. I’m currently working on creating AI agents for different needs, like advising me on my ERP system or a meeting AI agent that organizes and summarizes meetings. The possibilities feel endless, and finding documents and information has gotten easier when you store your documents in SharePoint, OneDrive, or OneNote. Your emails are searchable by AI as well, so there’s a lot of power in having AI become part of your daily workflow. They recently rolled out the ability to have AI do live editing in an open Excel file, PowerPoint, or Word document. They also added the ability to include Anthropic’s Claude model in the Copilot AI offerings, which gives you more AI options beyond just OpenAI. It’s also been really reliable performance-wise, which makes a difference when you’re in it all day—whether I’m managing multiple projects, sharing large files, or jumping between meetings, it holds up without slowing things down. And from a pricing standpoint, it’s a solid ROI. Instead of paying for separate tools for communication, storage, and collaboration, it’s all built in. Microsoft 365 is one of the main tools I use for daily operations.. I use it for handling emails, spreadsheets, reports, and daily other documents. Outlook helps me manage communication efficiently, while Excel is useful for reviewing and organizing operational data. I also like that files can be accessed across different devices, making it easier to continue working whether I am at my cabin or using a mobile device. Having multiple productivity tools integrated into a single ecosystem makes daily work much more convenient. Copilot also works really well. I like Microsoft 365 because they've updated a lot of things, and the security system is good. Plus, the easy way to recover files is wonderful. Most of the times, when you delete something, even from the recycle bin, you can still find it in the deleted files, and I find that really cool. Also, having Microsoft 365 in one device means you can access it on every other device, which is convenient. I find the innovation impressive, especially when you compare the old Office versions to the new ones, it makes everyday tasks more simple and easy. I have a paid membership, which I pay monthly, but sometimes it doesn't work. There are some specific features which still require me to pay or upgrade, and I find it inconvenient.
