Microsoft Word is one of those tools that fits into almost any type of document work. I use it for reports, meeting notes, letters, and other documents where proper formatting matters. Features like styles, tables, page layout, and comments make editing much easier, especially when a document goes through multiple revisions. I also like that Word files are widely accepted, so sharing documents rarely creates compatibility issues. It saves time because everything needed for writing and formatting is available in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software has plenty of useful features, but finding some advanced options can take longer than expected because they're spread across different menus. I've also noticed that documents with many images or complex formatting can become a little slower to edit. These aren't major problems, but they can interrupt the workflow on larger files.
