# Which automotive digital retailing platforms keep sales reps actively using the system past initial rollout without requiring ongoing retraining?

Hey G2 community, which automotive digital retailing platforms keep sales reps actively using the system past initial rollout without requiring ongoing retraining? Adoption tends to get measured at go-live and then nobody checks back in three months later, so I wanted to look specifically for reviews mentioning how easy something stayed to use once the initial excitement wore off.

CarNow: one reviewer said anyone can be thrown into this program without any training and work it well within an hour, which is about as direct an adoption claim as you'll find in this category. Does that hold up for reps who aren't naturally tech comfortable though, or mostly for people already used to similar tools?

DriveCentric: its one review on G2 specifically calls out how easy the round robin feature and AI tools were to train reps on, though with a single review that's a data point, not a pattern yet.

Tekion: reviewers describe it as the easiest system they've used to learn, with one noting how much faster their team's switchover from CDK went compared to previous system changes.

Dabadu XRM reviewers repeatedly describe it as simple enough that one review is literally titled "CRM for Dummies." Is that ease of use actually what keeps reps using it three months in, or does something else determine whether it sticks?

For anyone who's tracked usage past the first few weeks specifically: did adoption actually hold, or did reps quietly drift back to old habits once the pressure from rollout wore off?

The existing comments correctly identify that ease of training doesn't equal long-term adoption. I'd add: track two specific metrics starting at go-live: the percentage of deals completed in the system versus outside it, and the time from lead assignment to rep action.

Tekion's team switching over from CDK faster than previous system changes is the kind of adoption signal I'd weigh heavily, since a smoother transition usually means less quiet drift back to old habits once rollout pressure eases.

### Comment 3

I think adoption three months in depends less on how easy the initial training was and more on whether the system makes everyday selling faster. If reps can follow up, manage leads, and complete routine tasks with fewer clicks, they have a reason to stay in it. I’d track active usage and workflow completion after 30, 60, and 90 days rather than treating go-live adoption as success.

### Comment 4

In my experience, Tekion sticks because it aligns closely with how reps already think about deal flow, while tools like CarNow or Dabadu XRM get quick adoption due to simplicity but sometimes lack depth as teams mature. The real test is 60–90 days in. Did your reps keep using it because it genuinely saved time, or because management kept pushing adoption metrics?
