The only downside I experienced was the wait time between match requests and mentor confirmation. While understandable given the platform’s quality controls, it would be helpful to have a faster pairing process or interim guidance resources while waiting. As a platform is quite versatile to adapt to any organization, either it's a company, a collective or a school. All its customization capabilities along with its outstanding UX makes the development of mentoring programs quite successful. The mentality and values of the founders are quite present in every single feature, which is built to leverage growth via the selfless activity of sharing experience, acting as sounding boards and helping grow people's networks. I'd say it highly depends on how well and committed the onwers of the mentoring program are, it can be more or less communicative. At times, messages won't go thrhough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Mentoring is one of the greatest needs of our time. Ravi (CEO/Founder) is a wealth of knowledge on the subject and has the engineering and technology mind to have built a product/platform that delivers significant value.

A couple of things that stand out:

* Platform is easy to use and easy to get started.

* The information it provides is in simple, graphical form that is

really helpful.

* A community of people who want to help each other.

* It's inobtrusive - you aren't bombarded by asks and offers. You

set the pace.

Perhaps the coolest thing about the platform is that when you see the breadth of mentor serivces along with the breadth of mentees ... you realize that you have something to contribute. You can be a mentor ... because somewhere there is someone behind you in their growth curve.

If you pay attention to your onboarding, things should be pretty intuitive. I didn't ... and so when I jumped back in it took me a bit to figure out how things were set up. I would love to see something on the homepage that says "Find a Mentor" or "Start Mentoring." The team at MentorCloud were exceptionally quick at setting up a system for us to use (as we were on a tight timecrunch). They were then responsive, friendly and solved issues quickly to keep the programme running smoothly.

They also allowed us to set up 4 different types of mentoring within one system that connects people from a range of different companies.

They have the expertise we need to set up this new service and they are open to share that with us.

I think we found them at a stage where they are developing everything to be in spanish, so some areas are not completely in this language, but they are very open to adapt what they have and give solutions quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform is incredibly useful for helping users identify the right type of people they need to be connected to - whether in the role of mentor or mentee.

The algorithm streamlines an otherwise tricky process. I'm a community builder for lots of different organizations and I've relied on so many spreadsheets to track key people in my network. But with MentorCloud, you no longer have to rely on manually tracking connections in excel files - you can simply let the software do they matchmaking for you. The platform is great at helping suggest the right matches between people - but ultimately people still need to take the initiative to follow-up on those recommendations. MentorCloud includes different ways for people to take action (both individually but also in groups), but the platform is not a silver bullet at getting people to take action.
