"Lark: The Most Complete, Seamless All-in-One Platform for Our Team" 5/5 What do you like best about Lark? Lark is an all-in-one business operations platform that brings everything our team needs into a single, fully integrated system, no more juggling disconnected tools. The interface is clean and intuitive, so onboarding new team members takes almost no ramp-up time. Integrations across Lark's own modules (docs, chat, approval, base, calendar) work seamlessly, which has cut down a lot of manual data re-entry between departments. Performance-wise, it stays fast and responsive even as our usage scales across teams. In terms of pricing, the value we get relative to cost is strong, it effectively replaces several separate subscriptions, which translates into real ROI. Support and onboarding from the Lark team have also been responsive whenever we've needed help getting things set up. On top of that, the built-in AI features add real intelligence to daily workflows from smart suggestions to automation making the whole platform feel more proactive rather than just a passive tool. The storage included is already quite generous, but if your team needs more, you'll need to purchase additional storage on top of the existing plan. Before Lark, our team relied on multiple separate tools for communication, document collaboration, scheduling, and approvals. This led to scattered information, duplicated work, and slower decision-making across departments. Lark solves this by consolidating all of these functions into one integrated platform, so information flows in one place instead of being fragmented across different apps. On top of that, Lark's integration with AI Agents has been a huge productivity boost. The AI can handle tasks directly within Lark on my behalf, from drafting responses to automating routine work, so I can focus on higher-value tasks instead of manual busywork. Altogether, this has benefited us through faster cross-team collaboration, fewer delays in approvals and communication, better visibility into ongoing work, and now AI-assisted productivity, saving time and reducing the operational overhead of managing multiple disconnected systems. It's all-in-one so your shortcuts are from one app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Lark? Because it's all-in-one, nothing is great. It's just subpar. Every time you respond to a thread, another chat appears in your pipeline so you've got to close threads consistently. They send you marketing details through the app. No such things as calls going over, you've got to extend calls timelines through the calendar. Tables are massive in size - a 0.22GB SQL database is 3.15GB using their tables because of their foundational formatting. External sharing is exceptionally convoluted. Bidirectional syncing across external apps isn't really bidirectional. Probably the nail in the coffin though is that if you purchase a seat and you have turnover, you still pay for that seat. There is no way to cancel this from the platform. There's also no way to cancel your account from the platform. Support's response to trying to cancel your account? "Reach out to your bank to cancel your card and create a new one so that you don't get charged by us anymore" No such thing as notifications on upcoming subscription renewals, so when you get charged every 6 months and you ask to cancel, you can't because "you already paid." So, if you want to delete your account and disband the organization, "Just log back in later when your subscription has finished and cancel then" Forget prorated refunds, not a thing. Service and policies are terrible and realistically, for the amount of money you spend, you're better off going to specialized tools that actually do really well at whatever they do versus one singular place that does everything in a sub-par fashion.
