What I like best about JIT is that it reduces waste and makes processes more efficient. By producing only what is needed, when it is needed, JIT helps cut down on excess inventory, saves storage costs, and improves cash flow. I also like how it focuses on continuous improvement and encourages better coordination between departments and suppliers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike about JIT is that it can be risky if there are delays or disruptions in the supply chain. Since companies keep very little inventory, even small issues like supplier delays or transportation problems can stop production. It also puts a lot of pressure on suppliers and requires very accurate forecasting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
