## Jit Reviews
  ### 1. Exploring jit a personal review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohamed A. | Now i layed off so search now, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Jit?**

What I like best about JIT is that it reduces waste and makes processes more efficient. By producing only what is needed, when it is needed, JIT helps cut down on excess inventory, saves storage costs, and improves cash flow. I also like how it focuses on continuous improvement and encourages better coordination between departments and suppliers.

**What do you dislike about Jit?**

What I dislike about JIT is that it can be risky if there are delays or disruptions in the supply chain. Since companies keep very little inventory, even small issues like supplier delays or transportation problems can stop production. It also puts a lot of pressure on suppliers and requires very accurate forecasting.

**What problems is Jit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reduces Excess Inventory → Helps cut down storage costs and prevents tying up money in large stock.

Minimizes Waste → Produces only what is needed, which reduces overproduction and unused materials.

Improves Cash Flow → Frees up capital that would otherwise be stuck in inventory.

Increases Efficiency → Streamlines processes and makes production more responsive to demand.

Enhances Quality Control → Smaller production batches make it easier to detect and fix defects quickly.

Strengthens Supplier Relationships → Requires close coordination and builds stronger partnerships.

  ### 2. Helpful Tool for Integrating Security in Mobile App Development

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ali A. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Jit?**

As a Flutter developer, I really value that Jit integrates security practices into CI/CD pipelines without adding too much complexity. It helps me catch vulnerabilities early while still focusing on building features. I especially appreciate the lightweight setup compared to traditional enterprise tools, which makes it practical for smaller teams and freelance projects too.

**What do you dislike about Jit?**

Some of the more advanced integrations feel limited, especially when connecting with third-party services or mobile-specific pipelines. For example, I would like to see stronger documentation and examples for Flutter/Dart projects. Also, the onboarding process could be more beginner-friendly for developers who are not yet experienced with DevSecOps.

**What problems is Jit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jit helps me integrate security checks into the development lifecycle without relying on multiple, separate tools. As a mobile developer working with Flutter and backends like Laravel/Firebase, it’s useful for scanning dependencies and monitoring overall security posture. This reduces the risk of vulnerabilities slipping into production and saves me time compared to managing security manually.

  ### 3. Fullstack Software Engineer at Turkish Biggest National Bank.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Jit?**

Jit simplifies the management of security controls right within our development workflow. I appreciate how lightweight and easy the setup is, especially when compared to other security tools. Its seamless integration with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines helps us save time and minimizes the need to switch contexts. The automated checks provide reassurance that our code complies with security and compliance standards, all without introducing unnecessary complexity.

**What do you dislike about Jit?**

While Jit is quite helpful, I sometimes find the documentation lacking, particularly when it comes to more advanced configuration scenarios. Additionally, the reporting features could be improved to provide more detailed information, which would make it easier to share results with non-technical stakeholders. I also hope to see more integrations with third-party tools added in the future.

**What problems is Jit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jit has been instrumental in helping us automate and centralize the management of our application security posture. By making it easier to detect vulnerabilities early in the development process, we are able to address issues before they make it to production. This not only lowers our risk but also saves valuable engineering time and enhances our overall compliance. Its seamless integration with our CI/CD workflow allows our team to stay productive while consistently meeting security standards.

  ### 4. Integration Engineer

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Jit?**

utomates security controls: It provides pre-built security plans (for cloud, code, dependencies, CI/CD, etc.), so teams don’t have to reinvent the wheel.

Developer-first approach: Security is embedded directly into workflows (like GitHub, CI/CD pipelines) so engineers can continue working in their usual environment.

Continuous & lightweight: Unlike traditional security tools, it doesn’t overload teams with alerts—it prioritizes and integrates seamlessly.

Open-source friendly: Works well with open-source security tools (like Trivy, Semgrep, OWASP tools).

**What do you dislike about Jit?**

While it integrates well with GitHub and some CI/CD tools, its integrations may not cover all enterprise environments yet.

**What problems is Jit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it helping a lot with many things :

  ### 5. A useful tool with room for improvement

Jit makes it easy to manage security processes and integrate with existing workflows. I like that it provides clear visibility, automated checks, and simple dashboards that save time for both developers and administrators

**What do you dislike about Jit?**

Some features can be a bit complex to configure for first-time users. The documentation could be more detailed with step-by-step examples. Also, performance can sometimes be slower when handling large projects

**What problems is Jit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jit helps automate security checks and integrate them into our development workflow. This reduces manual work, speeds up compliance, and makes it easier for developers to focus on delivering features without worrying about missing critical security steps

  ### 8. JIT can be a single pane of glass for our engineering teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Jit?**

The UI is by far my favorite across other security tools I've seen. It's hiding a lot of powerful features behind a simple interface. I am new to using JIT, but the opportunity to present our engineering teams with a simple interface is the golden ticket. We will be using JIT to build secruity into our day to day operations! I haven't yet found an integration that isnt supported that I need, and when questioning support, they seem willing to do what we need.

**What do you dislike about Jit?**

As with all tools, it is another addition to the box. It's important to make sure that it is used correctly, and doesn't overreach.

**What problems is Jit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JIT is providing a clean and powerful interface for our engineering teams to build security into their sprints, instead of bolted on when needed.

  ### 9. Fast growing product with excellent support.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Jit?**

Great integration with Github, willingness to improve quality and attentiveness to customer needs.

**What do you dislike about Jit?**

A liitle bit lack of UI platform features but it improves with the compony growth.

**What problems is Jit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are usingn Jit mostly for our code scanning and getting a "shift left" benefit preventing security issues before they hit a production.

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Jit?**

The platform was clear and easy to use, the FTR controls were listed clearly and I had action items and actionable recommendations to fix issues. Support from JIt was quick and effective

**What do you dislike about Jit?**

The FTR report did not match the AWS expected format which required back and forth and manual adjustments. JIT supported us instantly to help resolve the issues and we got it sorted easily

**What problems is Jit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JIT continuously scanned all relevant resources automatically in accords with AWS FTR requirements to help get us ready for submission. It recommended fixes and summarized our compliance status.
