  ### 1. An analytics tool that actually delivers on what it promises

**What do you like best about Included?**

We chose Included because we needed a platform that could pull people data from Workday and actually make it usable and actionable. Most tools we have looked at either required a ton of manual effort or didn’t give us the flexibility to slice and filter data the way we needed.

Included makes it easy to track key HR metrics like headcount, terminations, and more with real-time updates straight from Workday. I’ve built dashboards that our leadership uses regularly, and I trust the data because it's automated and always up-to-date. No more spending hours pulling reports manually or second-guessing if something’s outdated.

It’s also been a huge help in surfacing insights by office, department, and even tenure or generation, which gives us a much more complete picture of what’s going on across the company.

Another huge win for me is that for a startup, the Included team is incredibly responsive. They genuinely listen to feedback, act fast, and build features that actually reflect what users need and they're happy to get on a call with you to get your questions answered. Friendliest team I've ever worked with!

**What do you dislike about Included?**

Would love to see more system integrations and customization options for certain widgets and visuals down the line!

**What problems is Included solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We no longer have to pull multiple Workday reports, clean data, and build visuals from scratch because Included automates all of that. We're also able to segment data by generation, tenure, location, and other identity-based breakdowns we couldn’t easily access before. **What do you like best about Included?**

There are a few upsides to using the Included platform: 

1. Democtrizing data is probably the biggest benefit for us. We came from a place where we had a specialized individual generating reports for our leadership team, our people team, and other requests - this was simply not scalable. Included provides bespoke real-time insights to these stakeholders in an easy to use way. 

2. Define the narrative. One of the main features we've been using internally is 'Story'. Stories allow us to... tell a story... with the data. We can customize the dashboards to take stakeholders through a data journey giving them the insights that are the most relevant to them, without bogging them down with too much detail. These include custom tiles with trendlines, scorecards or preset threshold markers. However, if they do want to deep dive.... (see below) 

3. Clicking into the trends to see the specifics. Included has a very clean way of being able to double click into the data that allows the users to see specifically where that data is coming from. So if for example we see attrition trending in the wrong direction, we can click into that and specifically see what departments and what demographics are most impacted. 

4. AI-Powered. The AI-insights function provides us with a real time breakdown of the analytics in a way that makes sense to non-technical non-analytical users. It can very quickly point out areas of concerns allowing stakeholders to take immediate action where necessary.

5. API / Central System. It has been hugely beneficial to our team to tie in multiple systems and drive all our insights through Included. We have our ATS, our HRIS as well as previous dashboards (from Tableau) - allowing us to draw correlations in the data between different systems.

6. Responsiveness from the team. The team that helped us implement the solution has been fantastic. They are quick to answer questions, join Zoom calls to dive into issues, help build stakeholder dashboards, and of course, help grow the stack by supporting integration of additional platforms / data.

**What do you dislike about Included?**

While Included is a great tool in the toolkit for a mid-sized startup (we're about 1000), it may not be as beneficial for smaller companies, as they may not have enough data or systems to get maximum benefit from the platform.

**What problems is Included solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solves the problem of having disparate data in multiple platforms. This allows stakeholders to go to one location to get the data they need. It also allows us to see correlations in the data between system.

**What do you like best about Included?**

1. Responsive team: Specifically calling out Yuan and Konstantin. They're great at listening to our feedback and making improvements. 
2. Not a huge lift: out of the box you can get some value out of the platform. You don't have to learn like you would with other BI tools
3.Deep dive: Easy to dive deeper in a metric by building out stories , scorecards, or by clicking through
4. Historical snapshots: super helpful since our HRIS doesn't support that for some of our custom fields
5. Click and play: Easily put together metrics by selection vs building tables etc
6. Huge potential to become a powerful tool for the people function

**What do you dislike about Included?**

1. Would love more BI focused tooling on top of the AI work they're championing. It's great to have the insights and such but having the baseline descriptive analysis is important too! 
2. Takes a bit of learning which metric to select as the dropdown can be a bit overwhelming
3. A bit hard to sideload some of the data we want included
4. Would love a bit more transparency and data health metrics. We're having to run reports out from other systems to verify that Included is looking at the right data or that it's being categorized correctly

Solves the lack of resources we have to have a standalone analytics function. Speed to market

**What do you like best about Included?**

Convoy has a small People organization to where Included allowed me to automate and standardize HR and DE&I reporting in order to highlight key metrics used to further important people/HR related initiatives for multiple organizations. The Included team are quick to respond and support the overall implmentation and use of the platform by building in customized views and features, training key leaders on metrics and importance of, and overall allowing for standarized reporting. 


Integration was quick and easy as the team worked closley with IT Support as well as people team leads to ensure the Included platform was launched successfully and had a solid foundation to start DE&I data backed conversations with Convoy leadership. 


The Included platform is designed to be user friendly and very simple to use and understand. The team will set up trainings to ensure all users know how to navigate the platform. 

Best part is, they are only ONE slack message away!

**What do you dislike about Included?**

Although I love the cusomter support and turnaroudn time, I would love to see more self-service capabilities on scorecard and stories. I am very glad that this is slated to be released in the next quarter!

**What problems is Included solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Included is able to provided a holistic solution for HR analytics and the best part is the diversity metrics that are embedded in the views. With Included we were able to get all our people metrics that were approved by the leads team in one place. The metrics were accurate and instantly availabile. 

With the DE&I metrics embedded, we were able to track progress on our DE&I initiatives.

**What do you like best about Included?**

I love how the interface helps us start from the questions we have and using normal everyday language. It integrates with all of our systems and helps normalize the data, so that when we ask a question, it simplifies the reports and the anlysis to exactly what we need.

**What do you dislike about Included?**

Love the advanced capabilities but I'm looking forward to the self-service capabilities coming early next year.

**What problems is Included solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us spin up a true People Analytics function and improve our DEIB initiatives by leading with data. We have a very data-driven company, by bringing this capability to the People Team has allowed to build more trust and become more strategic to the business. Also, while we have a lot of data engineering capabilities, Included made the decision to buy a best-in-class tool instead of try to build ourselves an easy one.

Included is connected to our people systems, and therefore we work from the included platform to start, rather than reviewing to check what we have done. This has changed outcomes and behaviors.

**What do you dislike about Included?**

There is so much data, which is a good thing, but requires that we are intentional with how we are using the platform and what for.

**What problems is Included solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want insight into our talent pools, to understand what is working and not, as we look to build more equitable talent pools and drive better outcomes. This benefits us as we are now consistent in how we work, and we can confidently state that we have done the right things before taking action.
