**What do you like best about Hive HR?**

I love how simple Hive is to use.  It's really user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Hive HR?**

We don't use an integration to our HR system so have to rely on manual data uploads and now that we are moving to manager access this will require some additional setup, however, it is our choice not to use the available automatic upload process

**What problems is Hive HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hive is giving us the two way communications our staff want while allowing their anonymity in surveys and in general suggestions for improvement.  It's allowing staff that voice they may not be comfortable with if they didn't have the anonymity.  Hopefully it is also helping to build trust.

**What do you like best about Hive HR?**

Compared to the platform we previously used for colleague surveys, it has quite significantly reduced the amount of manual time that goes into each exercise. From preparation and distribution through to the actual analysis of data, things are much cleaner and easier to use for us. It was easy to make the change and implement the system, and we always had (and continue to get) great support from the team at Hive. For a busy team, it is the ideal tool to support our needs for an engagement platform.

**What do you dislike about Hive HR?**

There are some features I have been used to with another platform that were useful for data analysis, but they are hardly deal-breakers (and the other system I'm referring to cost more than twice as much). Hive is significantly better value for money, in my organisation.

**What problems is Hive HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With features like Open Door, it's enabled us to get away from just relying on on structured surveys and moving to an 'always on' feedback model. Colleagues can now engage with us 24/7, and that means we're virtually always in conversation with the business about how we can continually improve the employee experience at Hodge.

**What do you like best about Hive HR?**

Hive is really user friendly, easy to set up and review survey feedback, and has great additional functionality with the open door "always on" feedback, as well as the recognition which can be viewed by colleagues. 

I like the fact that when a survey is live, you can see the data in real time, so get a sense of what the results are going to be without having to wait for it to close.

 The Hive support team are also really responsive, and go the extra mile to ensure you get the best results

**What do you dislike about Hive HR?**

The only downside currently is waiting for the integration with our new people system, so having to keep our users manually updated

**What problems is Hive HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a national charity with several different service types.  HIve really helps us to get both an organisational overview, but also be able to really drill down into the details and ensure that there are local action plans in place which will have a real day to day impact for colleagues.

**What do you like best about Hive HR?**

I like how it is completely anonymous but also how we are able to configure our organisation within the system to generate data we need. The reports are simple to generate and to view.

**What do you dislike about Hive HR?**

The separate login to the support page, i have a problem every time and have to reset my password which is frustrating as every time i then update my saved password it overwrite my main Hive login rather than saving them separately. Appreciate this isnt a Hive issue but it would help if there was not a separate login for support tickets.

**What do you like best about Hive HR?**

The platform is really intuitive, it gives access to whoever you choose allowing departments to own their own data and drive their own improvements. The customer support has been brilliant throughout design and role out. It intergrates seemlessly with our HRIS giving us confidence the right people are being surveyed. Overall, the sourcing, procurement, design of our first survey was smooth from start to finish, and the results of our initial survey have given us really meaningul insight and targeted actions to continue to improve our employee engagement.

**What do you dislike about Hive HR?**

The only plus some other survey providers have which HIVE currently does not, is the external accreditation the likes of Great Place To Work, or Times Top 100 type of surveys do, however they come with their own limitations which HIVE isn't contstrained by.

**What problems is Hive HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HIVE is giving us far greater insight into what our work force feel we're doing well, and can do more of, and what areas require attention to improve. It uses far clearer language than previous providers giving us confidence in the data and the actions agreed off the back of it.

**What do you like best about Hive HR?**

Hive has transformed the way that we run our internal surveys by enabling us to easily introduce frequent pulse surveys giving us instant insights into feedback.  The product is intuitive and straightforward to use.  Recent improvements to the platform have also made the feedback process much better from an employee experience perspective too.

**What do you dislike about Hive HR?**

It can be difficult to share all of the data with colleagues in a straightforward and simple way.    Ideally a range of self-service reports would be available to tailor to each area of the business.

**What problems is Hive HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This system supports the way that we run other areas of our people strategy such as regular check-in's, frequent feedback and agile objectives.  In changing to this system we have saved hours of admin time preparing for an annual survey that was out of date by the time you received the data.  We can collate surveys very quickly and during lockdown this was invaluable in being able to engage with our entire workforce about they challenges they were facing and how we could be support them.  Other functions such as Open Door and Hive Fives give additional functionality and keep people engaged on a regular basis.

I wish we could do better exports and downloads direct from the system and when you export graphs it doesn't export the percentages so that can be need a bit of manipulation that takes time

The platform is fantastic - very easy to  use and good user interface. Our Hive team is also great and always on hand to help, be it with People Scienece queries and support, or any technical platform queries, they always go above and beyond to help promptly.

**What do you dislike about Hive HR?**

It would be great if Hive could offer better industry specific benchmarking (we work in the Legal Sector), but would expect this to be possible over time as their customers increase.

**What problems is Hive HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've started with an annual survey as a benchmark and will be looking to roll out further regular and topic specific pulse surveys over time to measure engagement and the impact of improvement initiatives. We also want to increase opportunities for 360 feedback by rolling out their Open Door element soon.

The Hive system has clear sections and graphs for visually presenting the data. Data can be viewed in different formats and exported to Excel for further analysis.

I wish you were able to view data and graphs for multiple questions at one time by grouping the questions together, so that you can compare them more easily.  Also it would be good if you could export multiple graphs at one time.

I would recommend speaking to their staff.  When we had any questions or issues, they were extremely helpful in supporting our needs.

The Hive system allows us to ask all our staff a range of questions about our business no matter where in the world and then enables us to analyse the data based on different groupings.

Simplicity of tools and having the tools across feedback, recognition and survey all in one place. Great onboarding support and customisation. Expertise advice.

Little elements of UI need improving (click on menu top right but opens on left) and navigation. Also needing some integrations.

We used this as a tool for allowing our staff to contribute to bettering our employee environment.  We got great suggestions and it allowed us to further explore and discuss with the members of the organization.  Most of the time the data analysis from Hive is right on, and we've been able to assess a great deal of information provided by our employees.  Sometimes though , we needed more parameters to get to an adequate resolution.  The interface is incredibly easy to use and setup, and we've gotten lots of feedback saying how much our employees appreciate this resource.

**What do you dislike about Hive HR?**

We wished there was more opportunity for customization.  Perhaps this could be a higher-tiered option to get unique updates that fit your organization but might not be needed by another.  I wish the user support was a bit better.  We tried to use the online resources and get referred to FAQ and automated chat.  We'd really love to speak to some to better use this tool.  We really with their was better mobile tools that went along with this as well.  Please contact us if those improve or you're looking for feedback.

We have a great working relationship and they truly understand what we're trying to achieve and the struggles we face. They are constantly developing the Hive system to make it easier for us to manage surveys but also giving our people more ways to give their views on what working for the business is like.

Nothing springs to mind, we work collaboratively to work through any issues. No matter how big or small the issue and the Hive support team is always on hand to support with queries as and when they arise.

If you need a tool to easily capture your employees feedback then look no further. In addition to the tool being easy to use, the results are easy to understand and Hive work with you to make recommendations on how you can improve the employee experience where you work.

Hive are the experts when it comes to employee experience, engagement and what matters to employees and employers. They don't just offer a great survey solution tool, Hive are always looking at the changing landscape of employee experience and how they can help organisations understand what their employees are saying and guide them on how they can improve.

Hive is super easy to use and most of it you can learn as you go. If you have any questions however, the team are always on hand to help and explain things super easy. It really is 100% anonymous unlike other platforms I have used before.

Only feature that would be nice is to be able to download imagines & results all together

We are able to understand how our employees view and value their roles and the company they work for. The data we are able to collect also helps us put in proposals to our board of Directors and we can use the results to validate and back this up. It is also improving employee to employee recognition and engagement with the Hive-five feature!

The accessibility to all the amazing tools they provide to create and understand the culture in your company. Connect and learn through surveys. Recognize and create a community around peer-to-peer recognition. Understand what's going on in your company with phenomenal insight and analytics tools.

**What do you dislike about Hive HR?**

There is nothing that I specifically don't like about the product so I guess ill say what everyone says... it can always be cheaper, but even then the price is lower than a lot of competitors in the same market.

Peer-to-peer recognition, creating a culture of care within the company. Employees want to be recognized in all aspects of their work. It means so much when the people you share so space with recognize the hard work you do.

**What do you like best about Hive HR?**

The team are always really engaged with what we are trying to achieve, adaptable and experts in their field. We have been a traditional annual survey type of organisation up until engaging with Hive and with their support are working to be more proactive with our approach and truly listen and engage.

We have high standards of accessibility for external partners to deliver and Hive have worked tirelessly to ensure that they both understand these needs and deliver  a platform that meets them. 

Our journey together has only started this year but we are excited to think where it will take us moving forward.

**What do you dislike about Hive HR?**

We are still in the learning stages in developing an engagement package that uses the tools Hive has to full potential. So far all is positive and there is still more for us to implement together.

**What problems is Hive HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hive is allowing us to re consider how and when we listen to employees and move to planned and at times targeted feedback. Its too early in our journey to see many benefits other than the engagement conversation being firmly on the 2021 agenda.

The platform is incredibly easy to use, which means we use it regularly, and the team engage with it regularly. It's really straightforward to pull any insights from the platform following any surveys, and the Hive team are super supportive and happy to help you get the most from the platform.

**What do you dislike about Hive HR?**

I'd love to be able to set up a survey in the system myself without needing to send it through to the Hive team - I don't want to bother them when I'm confident in using the system - although they never complain at being bothered!

Do it - it's fantastic.

**What problems is Hive HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting real feedback from the team - we're a small company so sometimes people can be a little more shy in putting forward their opinions. With Hive, the anonymity of the platform means all of the team engage with it confidently and we get really good uptake on our surveys. This means we get valuable insight and as a leadership team we can make tangible changes that positively impact the way we work.

From the offset, I was impressed by Hives willingness to help. Always going the extra mile to not only meet our needs and answer our questions but also to truly seek to understand our work. We are a particularly complex organisation and they without fail have sought to understand, support and exceed expectations. Feedback and suggestions on how to develop their product and systems have always been well received and actively sought, and I'm yet to meet any employee from Hive who hasn't delivered exemplar service. Their customer service is wonderful. 
Hive HR has given us a modern, responsive and comprehensive view of how people are feeling. With live data, many different ways of reaching out to people and great options for data/ results analysis it really has helped us demonstrate the importance and validity of the employee voice. The people science service adds another string to their bow and a great offering to take your findings to the next level of scrutiny and development. 
Our "journey" (twee as that is) will be a long one after many years of ineffective engagement prior to Hive, but I truly feel we are in the best possible position with Hive in our corner.

**What do you dislike about Hive HR?**

I literally cannot think of any- I really would recommend Hive to anyone looking for an intuitive, reliable and fun way to engage employees.

**What problems is Hive HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are tackling culture change across 7500 employee base and eventually will want to include a volunteer base of around 20k people. I don't think it's so much problem solving but moreso supporting needed change, encouraging trust within the organisation and breaking down barriers between the local and national agenda. Hive is integral to our process of demonstrating that 'we' are listening to people, we care what they think and we value them as individuals and that we value their opinions. 
Each time we have surveyed we have switched on the different functionality as we build that trust. The open door facility has supported our relationship building immensely and we are already seeing more people engage, feel like they are being heard and are responding well. This can only get better whilst we roll out Hive Fives and start to encourage internal recognition and thanks between our colleagues and peers.
Hive has already massively improved our offer to employees and we can't wait to see what more it brings!

Hive HR is an intuitive, cost effective, user friendly, data and insight rich, always on employee engagement platform.  If you really want to understand the thoughts, feelings and anxieties of our colleagues - now more important than ever - then Hive HR gives you almost every single tool you need in one platform.  Bespoke surveys, a comprehensive question database developed by actual behavioural scientists (yes I know!), messenger function, suggestions, Hive Fives so you can do digital recognition - another really handy tool in our remote hybrid working world - plus incredible analysis of your survey results.  This is before I even mention the team at Hive HR themselves: passionate about what they do; intelligent and informed and perhaps the most helpful and friendly team I've ever worked with: trust me you'll want to relocate to Newcastle!

**What do you dislike about Hive HR?**

There is absolutely no downside to using Hive HR - I'd get a quote to see what I mean!

**What problems is Hive HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to working with Hive, our engagement survey approach had been relatively traditional, based on the Best Companies to Work For methodology , and using external, non-customisable tools. We had low traction on our response rates, little room for flexibility on question structure, limited analysis of  our findings, and did not have the technology or a single platform to allow colleagues to proactively share their thoughts or suggestions. Outside of the annual survey, we had no way for our people to raise their voices anonymously – something that was a significant cultural barrier to progress at the time.
 
To help achieve our engagement goals, we needed to smoothly transition away from our existing model and to move to a flexible, innovative, trusted, always-on engagement platform. This would be critical in facilitating the building of brilliant working relationships between teams and individuals across the Partnership. We also knew that this would be a significant enabler in driving our culture forward, as we would be able to consult with our people and gather feedback more easily. 

Through Hive we have achieved all this and more. We have successfully implemented a single focal point for engagement – highly flexible and customisable to our needs:

•	Our first annual People Survey (2019) via Hive saw us achieve our best ever engagement scores (79%, a 10% improvement vs. the previous year). We 
        have continued to build on this momentum, with our overall engagement score for 2020 improving to 84%!
•	93% response rate to our 2020 People Survey
•	Outstanding eNPS score of +56 in our last People Survey, vs. +26 the previous year – an increase of 115%.
•	Excellent uptake on High Fives – over 6700 received since we first launched in October 2018!
•	94 Direct Line messages received since launch in June 2019

It has also seen our work recognised in multiple National Awards.

**What do you like best about Hive HR?**

My account manager Lucy was fantastic.  We had to turnaround a engagement survey roll out in a very short space of time and she made sure it happened holding our hand every step of the way.   Offering support and guidance to ensure we got the most out of our results. The Hive system is easy to use and I was offered help if i needed any support with anything system related through live demos.

**What do you dislike about Hive HR?**

I think it would be good to have some more online resources available and learning videos around extracting the results data.  Also some best practice / guidance on what to do post survey in relation to analysing the results and action planning.

**What problems is Hive HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are currently reviewing the engagement survey results and action planning so we can make improvements across the key themes that came out of the survey.  It is fantastic to be able to drill down into certain groups to see where we need to focus on.

Hive have been great to use for surveying our team over the past few months - they're brilliant to work with, the platform is easy to use and their customer service is fantastic. 

We engaged them for their survey functionality and people science support, but the surprise stand out for us has been the suggestions/open door feature. It's been brilliant and opening two-way conversation that stays confidential for the staff member, and allows us to be really responsive to issues or suggestions that come through.

**What do you dislike about Hive HR?**

Not a dislike, but I would love to see a survey-builder function to allow more autonomy when using Hive. Pretty sure this is something that is in development so not far away - I look forward to using it.

Hive is extremely user friendly and easy to navigate. The platform is evolving all the time and great & friendly support is available if need be.

The fact that we can't currently have our Customer Advisory Board meetings at the moment due to Covid! I loved being involved in the improvements and feedback sessions.

We have tracked the morale of the business, we have actioned employee suggestions on everything from training through to coffee machines! High fives in particular have been beneficial from the outset to encourage peer to peer recognition, but especially so during Covid period when some staff really appreciated these small gestures of appreciation when working remotely.

HIVE HR is not just about the data. The platform is proud and punchy, the information gathered on this platform is presented in the neatest and simplistic way for all to understand. We have been working with HIVE for a few years now and we have never had a bad experience, customer support is always on hand to advise and set up surveys. Also they allow the client to feed in ideas which shows that these guys really want to grow with the vision that everyone is involved. I have had the pleasure of meeting most who work for HIVE HR and they are truly passionate about what they do and they certainly know their stuff!

Nothing at all, HIVE HR are brilliant to work with!

We didn't have a tool that could consistently record employee engagement. We now have a mapped approach for surveys so we are ensuring to check in on how employees feel in themselves, the business etc and also during COVID it has been fantastic to gather information about how everyone is and how they are coping under the new restrictions. We are just about to launch 'the open door' element of the platform to get continuous feedback and ideas from employees. The benefits would be the engagement from the staff who take the time out to complete this and also helps us analyse trends for over the coming months, the People Science team are amazing and have been great when analysing the data we get.

The team at Hive are responsive, helpful and really friendly. The system is very flexible, we have been working with them for a couple of years now and were able to implement different parts of the platform (survey, suggestions, peer-to-peer recognition) in stages, when it suited us.

The simple answer is that there is nothing I dislike about Hive HR!

Talk to them! They are not pushy just knowledgeable and friendly. It is super-easy and quick to set up and easy to use.

We weren't measuring employee engagement at all before working with Hive. Since starting to work more remotely during COVID the suggestions part of the platform has been invaluable. And we are just about to launch peer-to-peer recognition (Hive Fives) as a way of staying connected.

The fact that its anonymous is the best part as this has encouraged our staff to respond honestly to the questions we send out without worrying they will be identified. Another really great thing about it is the Hive five feature. It's nice to see our staff receiving praise from their colleagues.

A common problem within our staff group was that staff felt there was a lack of communication within the organisation but when given the opportunity to communicate via staff meetings etc, no one tended to raise any issues.
