"Easy to handle Mobile Device Management Software"

What do you like best about Hexnode?

Hexnode is very User friendly and even without any knowledge about it, you can easily learn the basics by yourself in a couple of hours. It is also very easy to connect it to your Azure Cloud or local Active Directory. Hexnode MDM is cloud-based, which means you dont have to manage another server. Phones are enrolled fast and without any troubles. You can structure your Devices and Users with folders which is also very helpful. Creating policies is easy as well, you can then link the policies to devices, or even better to Device/User Groups so when a device is enrolled it automatically recieves the correct policy. Our company doesn't use that many settings in the policies but from what I saw, a lot is possible. A fun feature for example is, you can set the phone background remotely (i.e. your company logo). It also easily connects to a company email account, if set up. You can also manage an App catalogue,. push mandatory Apps, or Blacklist Apps.

Another thing which I really like about Hexnode is the support! If you have a question or problem you can either call Hexnode (they ALWAYS pick up) or send an email, to which you will recieve a very fast reply with actual help!

Overall we are very very satisfied with this MDM, ,ostly because of its' user-friendly layout and amazing support staff! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hexnode?

Like I already said, we are very happy with Hexnode, however there is one little thing. Hexnode offers a remote view to phones, this however only works if you have a really really good internet connection, if its a little slow, you can connect to the phone but with huge latency. What problems is Hexnode solving and how is that benefiting you?

We mainly use Hexnode as a fail-safe, if a user lost his phone, we can delete all company data on it.

"Robust, Clean, Easy to Use and Responsive MDM"

What do you like best about Hexnode?

It was so easy to start - simply create the portal, enroll a device, and it's online and operational. Associating policies was pretty easy as well. Compared to something like InTune where everything has to be 100% setup first, Hexnode allowed us to even do testing, and push out updates almost instantly to ensure our configurations were exactly what we wanted. What do you dislike about Hexnode?

Wish there was more lockdown capabilities for Mac and for Windows - but I know that will come with time. Sometimes the Macs don't always show the proper FileVault status either, which can take awhile to update - but aside from these two glitches, I haven't had much of an issue at all with the service. What problems is Hexnode solving and how is that benefiting you?

Centralized MDM - instead of having something like InTune, Apple Business Manager & JamF, and Android For Enterprise, all setup, configured, and working in the organization, with multiple portals to login into, we can now manage all of our users in one single place, and see their compliance status at a glance. We can track the location of company owned assets, configure containerization on personal devices (which allows for corporate access on non-owned devices), and push whatever changes we need, instantly, to all of our devices.

We have been able to track some of the most commonly installed apps in our organization, block a few bad ones, and also check what users are frequently doing with their devices and our applications. We can track where our corporate devices are going, and immediately stop bad actors from using our devices too - we even had one device leave our geofence (which is huge lol), and we blocked access almost instantly. What do you like best about Hexnode?

This is a superb MDM frontend - I would recommend it over the competitors to my clients. Setup is super simple and the ability to create a secure multi-app kiosk was invaluable when setting up a device for clients to use in our reception area. The web client is very well refined and runs beautifully from a range of different devices - it is also easy to use from touchscreen devices - ie iPads or touch based Windows machines. What do you dislike about Hexnode?

Enrolment of iOS devices was easy, however, enrolling a Windows machine unfortunately repeatedly failed, up to the point where we had to completely factory reset the OS in order to configure our Surface device. This was annoying, and a waste of company time and money, however once up and running again, I will not deny that the software did work well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Hexnode solving and how is that benefiting you?

Hexnode has allowed us to manage our company's devices easily and efficiently. Before, as a company, we were creating config files in Apple Configurator 2 and manually pushing them to our iOS devices. This method was very insecure as it allowed for easy removal. Now, during Covid-19, we decided to look into MDM solutions in order to manage our devices from home. We took out a trial of Jamf, however we found the features clunky and hard to use. Also, Jamf lacked the ability to manage Windows 10 devices. This was a necessity for us. However, Hexnode ticked all of the boxes for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Hexnode?

All the different devices that it supports. The easy to use UI that makes it so even your average technical person can understand how to manage devices via Hexnode. There are not many times where ANYONE likes contacting support, however, it's sometimes a necessity. The interaction with Hexnode MDM's Support (Eva) was absolutely phenomenal. Although there wasn't a current solution to my issue, I was still satisfied simply due to the acknowledgment of my issue and how personable the support agent was. What do you dislike about Hexnode?

Currently, you're unable to deploy Apple TV apps via VPP which is a downside for me, and the company I work for, as we publish an Apple TV app that works as a dashboard for our iOS/iPadOS app. We always recommend the use of MDM's when a customer decides to use our product and after trialing Hexnode MDM just briefly, it's definitely going to be one of the recommended MDM's, however, the inability to deploy Apple TV VPP Apps (we don't distribute the IPA file) makes it a little harder sell. What problems is Hexnode solving and how is that benefiting you?

We used to be a Mac shop and managed the devices via JAMF, however, as we have grown in size and employees, the need for Windows machines has grown. We used to require iPhones for customer-facing employees as well. With Hexnode MDM's ability to manage so many different devices, we can manage all devices whether they use macOS, Windows, iOS, iPadOS, Android, etc. The benefit of managing all these different devices in one place is huge.
