## Hexnode UEM Reviews
  ### 1. Feature-Rich and Detailed, but a Clunky UI that needs time to get used to

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Georges C. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?**

Hexnode has a multitude of features, very detailed to each and every platform that you will reply to every IT need

**What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?**

Having such a wide offer, the UI is a bit weird to manipulate, lots of different interfaces to work around to get your task done and every time you change a policy, you will get this weird transitional window where you cannot do anything else than admire it for what it is

**What problems is Hexnode UEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Safeguarding all my QA test device to my location is a wonderful much needed feature for my team. Moreover, the integration with Apple Business Manager is a dream come true to track everything back to its roots. And having a light agent won't hinder the overall performance of the device installed on it.

  ### 2. Lockdown Tablets with Hexnode UEM

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?**

It lets us lock down what we need to have locked down on our tablets. The UI in setup isn't difficult to navigate. Once the initial setup is complete, it's easy to switch devices between policies.

**What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?**

The tiered cost. Some features we initially had were moved into a higher tier cost. To make changes to those features requires us to pay more to get the higher tier access. If tablets go too long without updating, you may need to uninstall and reinstall Hexnode to get the policy changes to take effect.

**What problems is Hexnode UEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeps our employees from accessing anything on the tablet that they aren't supposed to. It allows us to set the tablets into a kiosk mode where they only show specific information and sites.

  ### 3. IT Systems Specialist

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** EFraim R. | IT Senior Technician, Consumer Goods, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?**

The user interface is very intuitive, making it easy to become productive quickly, even for administrators who may not be MDM experts. Common tasks such as enrollment, policy creation, and app deployment are straightforward to perform.

The platform offers strong multi-platform support, allowing you to manage iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and tvOS from a single console. This unified approach feels consistent rather than fragmented.

Policy controls are flexible, particularly when it comes to kiosk or lockdown modes and compliance rules. You can achieve a high level of granularity without the setup process becoming cumbersome.

Deployment and onboarding are fast, with device enrollment—especially for Apple ADE and Android Enterprise—being smooth and well-documented.

**What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?**

The reporting and analytics features are quite basic. While the built-in reports function as expected, they lack the customization and depth of insight found in larger UEM platforms. The user interface is generally clean, but there are occasional inconsistencies—some advanced settings can be hard to find, and their behavior may vary slightly between platforms. Automation capabilities are somewhat limited; while it’s possible to automate standard workflows, more advanced or conditional automation, particularly across different platforms, is not as robust as what higher-end tools offer. Management features for macOS and Windows are not as fully developed as those for mobile platforms, which seem to be the main focus. Additionally, although making policy changes is straightforward, tracking changes and rolling them back cleanly is more challenging, as change management and versioning tools are less comprehensive.

**What problems is Hexnode UEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing devices across various platforms such as iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows can be quite challenging for companies, particularly when different tools are needed for each operating system. Hexnode addresses this problem by providing a unified console that supports all major platforms, greatly simplifying device management.

Enrolling and onboarding new devices is often a slow and error-prone task when handled manually. Hexnode streamlines this process by offering automated enrollment options like Apple ADE and Android Enterprise, which help accelerate and smooth out device rollouts.

Maintaining consistent security and compliance is difficult without centralized policies, as devices can easily fall out of compliance. Hexnode solves this by enforcing security measures such as restrictions, passcodes, encryption, and regular compliance checks, all managed from a single location.

Distributing apps to each device individually is both inefficient and time-consuming. Hexnode makes app deployment much simpler by enabling silent installations and providing app catalogs, all managed centrally.

Lastly, ensuring that business devices are used securely and strictly for their intended purposes is essential. Hexnode offers features like kiosk mode, lockdown configurations, managed settings, and remote controls, which help companies keep their devices secure and properly configured.

  ### 4. Easy Policy Management and Deployment in a Solid MDM Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Camilo M. | Sysadmin, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?**

It’s easy to manage and deploy policies. Overall, it’s a solid MDM tool.

**What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?**

What I didn’t like was the disk encryption deployment. It’s a bit difficult to configure on devices, and the setup process feels more complicated than it needs to be.

**What problems is Hexnode UEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralized management for corporate devices.

  ### 5. Affordable Pricing MDM Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suttapong W. | senior security officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?**

Plans start at $1.08 per device per month for basic MDM and kiosk functionality, with discounts available for annual subscriptions.
Intuitive dashboard and easy-to-manage policies make it simple for administrators to control devices.
Responsive technical support team available to assist with any issues.
Easy to implement as users can enroll their devices via self-enrollment using an installation link.
Datas can be access via API which great for implementations.

**What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?**

I'm extremely disappointed with Hexnode's MFA implementation, particularly when it comes to removing devices in bulk. As an administrator, I need to remove 5-10 devices at a time, and the MFA process becomes a major bottleneck.
For every device removal, I'm prompted to complete MFA via email, resulting in a flood of emails (20+ in a short span!) just to complete a single task. This not only wastes time but also creates unnecessary clutter in my inbox.
The lack of flexibility in MFA settings is frustrating. There's no option to exempt bulk actions or use a more efficient MFA method. It's like Hexnode's security features are designed to hinder productivity rather than enhance it.

That can be frustrating. When device details are only available on the website and not through the API, it can limit automation and integration capabilities.

**What problems is Hexnode UEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining device management and security processes
Efficient app distribution and control across devices
Ensuring compliance and enforcing corporate policies
Simplifying device enrollment and provisioning procedures

  ### 6. Hexnode UEM: Easy Setup Across Operating Systems

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?**

Hexnode UEM is really easy to setup regardless of the operating system.

**What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?**

There's been some inconsistent behavior on Windows devices.

**What problems is Hexnode UEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to be able to remote into different workspaces to make fixes and Hexnode UEM allows me to do troubleshooting very easily.

  ### 7. Hexnode: Simple and Effective Solution for Device Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?**

The Kiosk Mode function has been a lifesaver for our devices at points of sale. It allows us to restrict access only to the necessary applications, which improves security and user experience.

**What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?**

Sometimes, the control panel can seem a bit cluttered if you're not familiar with it, although once you get used to it, it's very efficient.

**What problems is Hexnode UEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As the IT department in a company with a growing fleet of tablets at its points of sale, we were looking for a solution that would allow us to manage, secure, and configure them centrally.

  ### 8. Tiered Licensing Pushes You to Upgrade Despite Strong Cross-Platform Management

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?**

Hexnode is good because it allows you to manage Mac and PC within the same hub. Many different features. Implementation is decent once you get the hang of the lay out.

**What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?**

The licences are very tiered, unlocking groups of small features at a time which makes you end up subscribing to the highest tier by a certain point. Support is very good.

**What problems is Hexnode UEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mobile device management and tracking.

  ### 9. Hexnode Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vibhor J. | Lead Support, Medical Devices, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?**

1. UI is very interactive and smooth.
2. Real-time troubleshooting.
3. Hexnode supports various platforms like Android, iOS, Windows, and even tvOS, making it versatile for managing diverse environments.

**What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?**

1. The action history tab needs improvement in terms of managing the ongoing commands. Sometimes, the commands take longer than usual to execute despite having a strong internet connection.
2. We can't switch to any other actions tab when taking the remote of a device. To do that, we have a create a duplicate tab in the browser. I hope Hexnode should add a pop up window feature.

**What problems is Hexnode UEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using Hexnode in my organization for remotely managing the Microsoft tablets. We have deployed a few work related applications on the tablet and whenever there is any issue with the tablet, the site reach out to us and we take the remote of it to investigate the issue.
Apart from this, we also manage the policies for the devices. Hexnode is a very helpful tool for real time troubleshooting.
