**What do you like best about HarmonyHR?**

What I like best about HarmonyHR is the pricing, the user-friendly functionality, and the “magic button” feature. I also really appreciate how easy it is to add candidates into the system and efficiently build and track the recruitment pipeline.

**What do you dislike about HarmonyHR?**

I like everything about it. colleagues in HarmonyHR are working hard to make the service convenient and easy to use, and it really shows.

**What problems is HarmonyHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HarmonyHR solves the problem of scattered candidate management by keeping all candidates in one centralized pipeline. Candidates can be added very quickly, the functionality is intuitive and easy to use, and no candidate gets lost in the process.

It also helps build a strong long-term talent pool (“golden database” of candidates) for the company and makes it easy to track every candidate’s status throughout the hiring process. Overall, the functionality fully meets the standards and expectations of a modern ATS system.

**What do you like best about HarmonyHR?**

Honestly, for the price it’s the best HR tool we’ve used so far. We’ve worked with big-name platforms like BambooHR before, where you have to pay extra for every little feature. With HarmonyHR, you get the same functionality for a fraction of the cost. The support team is super responsive and open to feedback, they actually keep improving the product based on real user needs. It feels like they really listen.

Honestly, nothing to complain about so far — we’re really happy with it.

HarmonyHR helped us finally bring all our HR processes into one place — from onboarding and time-off tracking to performance reviews. Before, we had to juggle several tools (and spreadsheets 🙈). Now it’s all centralized and way easier to manage. It saves us tons of time, keeps everything transparent, and makes HR feel a lot more organized and human.

**What do you like best about HarmonyHR?**

We started using HarmonyHR about 9 months ago. As a mid-sized global company (540+ people across 6 countries), we needed a system that could handle complexity. HarmonyHR has been a surprisingly good fit.
So, what stood out to us:
The UX/UI is very clean and intuitive. All employees picked it up quickly.
Role management is flexible enough for our matrix structure (most HR systems really struggle with).
People analytics dashboards helped us get a clear view of turnover, average tenure, and retention by team.
We also finally stopped sending vacation requests by email.
Support has been responsive and helpful. They actually listen to feedback and update the product accordingly (very quickly).
In short: HarmonyHR does what we need it to do, doesn’t overcomplicate things, and saves us a ton of operational effort.

**What do you dislike about HarmonyHR?**

The reporting templates are great but I do wish there were more pre-built reports for companies our size. Not a dealbreaker, but would definitely make life easier if some of those came out of the box.

**What problems is HarmonyHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Now, we’ve finally got one source of truth. PTO, headcount, turnover, team structures - it’s all visible and consistent. Onboarding is also way more structured now.
We also benefit a lot from the flexible access roles (something we couldn’t find in many other tools). It allows managers, HRBPs, and local leads to see just what they need, nothing extra. That’s been a big help in keeping data secure and people accountable.

**What do you like best about HarmonyHR?**

We’ve tried so many HR tools over the past couple of years, but HarmonyHR is the first one that actually feels like it was made for humans. The interface is super intuitive and friendly. You open it and just get it. No need to onboard your entire team for months just to figure out how to submit a vacation request.

**What do you dislike about HarmonyHR?**

If I had to pick one thing I’m missing right now, it’s the hiring module. That’s the only real gap for us at the moment. I know the team at HarmonyHR is already working on it (🤞 we’ve been told it’s coming soon), so I’m seriously looking forward to that.

**What problems is HarmonyHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before HarmonyHR, it looked like this - spreadsheets here, Google Docs there, people forgetting to approve stuff.
Now, everything’s in one place, and we’re not chasing data around anymore. We’ve got this nice, clean view of what’s going on with the team. Who’s off, who’s just joined, what’s approved, what’s pending.
Onboarding is smoother too. New employees get tasks, templates, and reminders without us having to babysit.
And I love reporting (my fav part of HarmonyHR). I can just grab the numbers I need in a couple clicks and send them off.
Basically, we stopped feeling like we’re constantly behind on HR stuff. It’s calmer now. Way calmer.

**What do you like best about HarmonyHR?**

We’re a small team in a startup , so we needed something that does a lot, doesn’t cost a fortune, and doesn’t require a PhD to set up. HarmonyHR delivered.
What surprised me was how much it actually does for the price. It’s way more full-featured than I expected. You get things like role-based access, built-in calendars, automation, dashboards - stuff I thought only “big” platforms had. But it’s still simple enough that I don’t need to bug IT every time I want to change a workflow.

**What do you dislike about HarmonyHR?**

The mobile version works, but it’s not the slickest. A bit clunky in a few places.

We basically got “big company” features without the scary price tag.
Now we’ve got everything in one place. I can onboard someone, approve their PTO, log their equipment, and run a report. Which is kind of amazing, honestly.

The manager self-service is, without a doubt, the best part. they can see their team's pto calendar, approve requests, and access basic info without having to message me on slack for every little thing. it’s beautiful.

a handful of our less tech-savvy managers needed a bit more hand-holding to get started, but they got there in the end.

It gently forces managers to actually manage their team's admin. this has freed up at least 30% of my team's time from answering repetitive questions, allowing us to focus on culture and development projects instead.

I was really anxious about leaving my manual Excel processes because I worried everything might break. What I love most about HarmonyHR is how smooth and reliable the automation is—the system quietly takes care of all the boring tasks now, and it works perfectly

It took me about a week to feel completely comfortable with the system since its logic is different from a spreadsheet, but their support team  was incredibly helpful in answering my questions.

It’s taken away my worry about tiny mistakes that could ruin everything. In Excel, one wrong click could throw off an entire report, but the system has safeguards. I trust the data much more now and feel calmer because I no longer need to double-check every single step.

**What do you like best about HarmonyHR?**

As a company that not long ago was selecting providers to optimize our work, I can note that Harmony HR stands out from what is available on the market. It has a very user-friendly interface—you don’t need to be a super IT specialist to figure it out. The platform covers all the basic needs and, in addition, keeps evolving and adding new features. An amazing team is available 24/7 and always ready to help. The platform’s functionality fully meets all the needs of a modern HR. I would also like to note that the platform offers many integrations with other programs.

**What do you dislike about HarmonyHR?**

I can’t point out any drawbacks, as the platform is constantly evolving. Over the year of working with it, I’ve noticed how rapidly it develops and how attentively it responds to feedback.

**What problems is HarmonyHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HarmonyHR helps achieve real least-privilege access across HR, Finance, and IT. That means employees feel confident their information is protected, managers only see what’s relevant for their role, and regulators appreciate the clear transparency. It delivers the perfect balance between security, efficiency, and compliance. In addition, all functionality can be tailored to the company’s needs. Each section offers many options for how the page can be set up and what functionality can be provided.

**What do you like best about HarmonyHR?**

We tested Personio and BambooHR, then picked HarmonyHR. Feature-wise it kept up (and honestly outperformed) on access management and reporting. The kicker is cost: around $7 per user versus $20–25. Plus a perfect support team that actually answers in chat within hours.

**What do you dislike about HarmonyHR?**

UX/UI is less glossy than Personio (but way more practical)

We’ve saved close to $200k a year on licenses, tightened security, and gotten better support than we ever did with the big names. Managers only see what they need, audits are calmer, and reporting is something finance actually opens. Migration was smoother than expected. Less spend, more control, happier humans.

the employee self-service portal. the fact that an employee can just log in and see their remaining vacation days without having to ask me is a gift. the interface is so simple that we've had almost zero questions since we launched it.

At the moment, I don’t see any drawbacks: it’s very convenient and easy to use.

it's solving the constant interruption problem. an hr person's day is fragmented by hundreds of small questions. by empowering employees to find the answers themselves, harmony gives me back blocks of uninterrupted time to work on things that require focus.

I appreciate being able to access everything that matters to me, such as time off, benefits, and approvals, without having to wait for someone else to send the information.

Everything was fine; I don't recall encountering any problems.

Previously, I often didn’t understand what’s going on. For example, whenever I asked about a raise or a benefit, I wouldn’t get a response for weeks. Now, I actually know what’s happening. This transparency really helps ease my anxiety, which is more important than many people realize.

I liked that everything is in one place: onboarding, leave, assets, and even performance reviews. Compared to building an in-house system, HarmonyHR saved us months of work and huge costs.

Integrations with most of ATS are possible but will need customized configurations

This solves our biggest security and compliance problem. We don't have to worry about our sensitive data being on a shared server, so we can pass audits easily.

**What do you like best about HarmonyHR?**

We’re in iGaming, so compliance is always breathing down our necks. Most HR tools we tried were either too “cloud-only” to pass compliance, or too clunky for HR to actually use. HarmonyHR is the first one that checked both boxes.
The on-prem setup took hours which blew my mind. And the role-based access is super tight. Compliance stopped fighting with HR and said “yeah, this works.”

**What do you dislike about HarmonyHR?**

The only thing I’d call out is the documentation on advanced access configs. It’s there, but could be more detailed.

**What problems is HarmonyHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since moving to HarmonyHR we’ve had zero unauthorized access incidents. And the biggest win: avoiding potential fines that could have cost us millions.

Honestly, I used to ignore most HR messages because they were confusing. Now I actually check the system because it’s simple. I know where to look and what things mean.

Would be nice to have dark mode because I stare at screens all day.

Before, I’d miss team updates or deadlines because I haven’t checked HR updates regularly. Now, the system adjusts for that and keeps me in sync.

price-to-value is wild for SMBs, and we were live in like a week and a bit. calendar + notifications alone cut so much back-and-forth.

nice to have more in-app tips, but support is quick.

harmonyhr keeps headcount, PTO, and approvals in one place, so HR stopped being the bottleneck and I stopped being the bad guy haha.
