"HAProxy never let us down"

What do you like best about HAProxy?

It just works. It's easy to setup and easy to maintain. They have extensive documentation and excellent customer support.

It's nice to not have to worry about a product working as expected for once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HAProxy?

We could probably use some more tutorials that go along the documentation. Many features you need to figure out yourself how to use them, but if you're an Enterprise customer you can always rely on their support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"HAProxy review"

What do you like best about HAProxy?

We are using HAproxy to route traffic return our cluster which works great. We have it deployed mostly in EKs but also planning to deploy in Gke Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HAProxy?

Difficult to debug issues. Logs are not very clear. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable load balancer packed with features"

What do you like best about HAProxy?

Haproxy positions itself as a load balancer instead of mingling with both load balancing and webserving and this is one of its core strengths as it is just really good at load balancing without all the noise and complications of other webservers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HAProxy?

There are a few features where haproxy lags a little behind some of the newer proxies like caddy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The lake of backend state synchronisation between multiple haproxy nodes. When we down a server it's state is not reported to other haproxy node that works together Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thank you for reviewing HAProxy! You might be interested to know that HAProxy version 2.9 adds the ability to load balance the Syslog protocol over UDP. Meanwhile, HAProxy Enterprise will soon have general support for load balancing UDP.
