"Review of Guardz MSP Tool"
What do you like best about Guardz?

The best part of Guardz is the integration with SentinelOne MDR, which offers 24/7 monitoring and rapid response at a very competitive cost. It delivers enterprise-grade protection at a fraction of the price of traditional EDR solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guardz?

The main limitation is the lack of native support for Linux-based endpoints, which restricts full coverage in mixed environments. Additionally, some advanced configuration options are less customizable compared to enterprise-grade EDR solutions. Expanding platform support and offering deeper policy controls would strengthen the overall product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fantastic Solution to Service SMB Customers"
What do you like best about Guardz?

When deploying Guardz, across SMB clients, Guardz nails the SMB sweet spot. Implementation is genuinely quick and simple. The console gives a clean presentation to clients, and I don’t have to spend days tuning before I can show value. For customers who are early in their security journey, it’s easy to explain what’s happening and why.

I also like that Guardz bundles the essential protections into one place, which keeps vendor sprawl and context-switching down as well as keeping costs low enough for an SMB. It gives my team meaningful coverage without adding operational drag, so we can focus on coaching clients and periodic health checks instead of babysitting yet another tool.

Customer Support tends to be a pain point with a lot of tool vendors; I can honestly say that they have gone above and beyond from a customer support perspective. I have been very happy with that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guardz?

Notifications and integrations are the main friction points. Alerts often get bulked into a single email, which makes ticketing less granular than I’d like, and there is no public API or many native ticketing integrations to smooth that out. We work around it with email-to-ticket parsing, but first-class API/webhook support and more integrations would make operations and reporting cleaner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"How Guardz transformed my business"
What do you like best about Guardz?

What I like best about Guardz is how it’s built specifically for small businesses—it makes cybersecurity management straightforward and accessible. I appreciate how easy it is to get started, the clear dashboards, and the automatic monitoring features. It really helps me feel more confident about catching risks early without needing a dedicated IT security staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guardz?

What I like least about Guardz is that, while the platform is maturing and making strides for small businesses, the training resources could be improved. As Guardz continues to grow, I’d appreciate more in-depth, tailored training materials and onboarding support that address the specific challenges small businesses face. Enhanced guides, tutorials, and real-world examples would make it easier for my team to fully leverage the platform’s capabilities as we scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid Threat Protection Platform for MSPs and Small IT Teams"
What do you like best about Guardz?

When deploying Guardz across SMB clients, I find that it truly hits the mark for this segment. The implementation process is both quick and straightforward, allowing me to get up and running without hassle. The console offers a clear and professional interface for clients, and I appreciate not having to spend days fine-tuning settings before demonstrating value. For customers who are just beginning their security journey, it’s simple to explain what’s happening and why. I used the AI chatbot for an issue I was having, as I was not sure of how to tackle it - it was absolutely flawless!

Another aspect I appreciate is that Guardz consolidates essential protections in one platform, which helps minimize vendor sprawl and reduces the need for constant context-switching. This also keeps costs manageable for SMBs. My team is able to achieve meaningful security coverage without unnecessary operational overhead, letting us focus on coaching clients and conducting periodic health checks rather than managing yet another tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guardz?

What I like least about Guardz is that, even though the platform keeps improving and has a lot to offer small businesses, the training resources could be stronger. As Guardz grows, I’d really appreciate more detailed, hands-on training materials and onboarding that speak directly to the challenges small businesses face. Having clearer guides, step-by-step tutorials, and real-world examples would make it easier for my team to get the most out of the platform as we continue to scale. "It may be ok for some, but i wont be keeping my customers on it."
What do you like best about Guardz?

The ease of use to get started in guardz and the amount of features is good. but then you get what you pay for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guardz?

1. Mail is quarantined in this in 2 places, as well as in microsoft defender as a 3rd place.

2. in guardz, mail is sectioned off in Alert emails, and quarantined emails. either way it is 2 sections of the program that end users wont understand the technical difference.

3. a good portion of mail still gets caught by defender in office 365. now the end users have to check a third place to find caught emails.

4. i called this out as the makings of an immature release in appearance to tech support and was told that it is not the sign of an immature release, but just follows microsoft recommendations, sorry for the experience, and your customers have to check for caught email in 2 places. Response from Lauri Goldman of Guardz

We're sorry to hear about your experience, and we really appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback.

You're right that managing multiple quarantines used to be confusing, therefore we've recently integrated Microsoft's quarantine directly into Guardz, so everything is now managed in one place.

The different email categories (alerts, quarantine, spam, user-reported) are meant to help MSPs prioritize and manage visibility, while end users ONLY need to deal with two things: email warning banners and the quarantine release flow.

Thanks again for calling this out. We're always learning and improving. If you're open to it, we'd love to connect and see how we can make Guardz work better for you and your customers.

"Effortless Security Management with Clear, Actionable Alerts"
What do you like best about Guardz?

What I like most about Guardz is how straightforward it is. Everything is laid out clearly, so you’re not digging around trying to figure out what’s going on. I really like having all the security stuff in one place, especially the alerts, they’re easy to understand and actually useful, not overwhelming. It feels like the app is doing the heavy lifting in the background while still keeping me in the loop Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guardz?

Some features take a bit of time to figure out, and a few alerts feel repetitive or not very actionable. More customization for notifications would make it better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Peace of Mind Delivered – Guardz Protects Without the Complexity"
What do you like best about Guardz?

Guardz combines simplicity with powerful protection in a way that's rare among cybersecurity platforms. The user interface is intuitive, making it incredibly easy to onboard new clients and manage cybersecurity across multiple environments, especially useful if you're an MSP. I especially appreciate how Guardz centralizes email protection, endpoint security, identity monitoring, and risk reporting into one seamless dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guardz?

The reporting features are solid but could benefit from more visual dashboards and export flexibility, particularly for MSPs needing to share insights with less technical stakeholders. Also, a few deeper integrations with third-party tools (like remote monitoring and management platforms) would help streamline workflows even further.

That said, the Guardz team is highly responsive to feedback, and I’ve already seen improvements roll out quickly, so I’m confident these gaps will be addressed over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cybersecurity coverage across cloud tools"
What do you like best about Guardz?

Every day, our hiring team deals with a lot of emails, and Guardz's phishing prevention and email security tools have made it easier for us to spot and thwart possible threats before they get to our inboxes. As a result, there is now less chance of data breaches or illegal access to private candidate information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guardz?

Guardz offers cyber awareness training, which has proven especially helpful when integrating new hires. It encourages a culture of digital responsibility among team members and aids in avoiding errors that might reveal private information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable and easy-to-integrate cybersecurity solution for SMBs"
What do you like best about Guardz?

Guardz offers an all-in-one cybersecurity platform that is incredibly easy to deploy and manage across multiple endpoints. The dashboard is intuitive and provides real-time visibility into threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance status. Its seamless integration with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace makes it a great fit for small-to-mid-size businesses with remote or hybrid teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guardz?

While Guardz is excellent for covering core security functions, it currently lacks some advanced analytics features that larger enterprises might need. The reporting interface, although clean, could benefit from deeper customization capabilities—especially for consultants like myself who regularly translate data into business narratives. "Guardz helps us stay organized and SELL MORE"
What do you like best about Guardz?

I love the multi-faceted nature of Guardz. In I.T. and cybersecurity, there is so much to keep track of. Guardz helps you stay on top of everything giving you a birds-eye view of our clients' cyber posture, and with the SentinelOne integration, we have the granular control on each device that we need. Onboarding our clients is easy with Guardz, and I also love the prospecting reports for new prospective clients. We've built a whole sales pipeline around the prospecting reports, and because it's so easy to get clients onboarded, it's an easy way to sell, implement, and then start working on getting them secured! It also integrates with our Connectwise PSA, which has been a game-changer as far as staying on top of the issues in Guardz. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guardz?

The E-mail security could use some work. I notice it seems to flag most e-mails, which gives us more alerts than we'd like. I have noticed that the filtering could be better, as it tends to miss some malicious or phishing e-mails (may not be guardz's fault, as these could have been direct sends to the tenant, which will bypass security gateways).
