**What do you like best about Geopointe?**

I like Geopointe for route mapping, heat maps, and store locator searches. Updating the heat maps is very easy using DataLoader, which saves me hours by eliminating the need to do it manually. It streamlines the task of updating searches. The initial setup was easy, thanks to a little help from the Geopointe support staff, and it was done within a few hours.

**What do you dislike about Geopointe?**

I can't think of anything

**Recommendations to others considering Geopointe:**

If you want to a mapping program to work with Salesforce this is a great product to use.  It is very easy to use and customize for your specific situation.  All our sales reps use Geopointe on a daily basis.  They also use it to pre-schedule routes for weeks in advance.

**What problems is Geopointe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Geopointe for route mapping, heat maps, and store locator searches, which simplifies these tasks. Updating heat maps using DataLoader saves me hours and streamlines updates.

**What do you like best about Geopointe?**

The ability to visualize my field assets and client orders. The filter options allows me to identify areas of need and prioritize client orders based on due dates. The ability to preview details related to visual pins allows me to make informed decisions.

**What do you dislike about Geopointe?**

No major issues. Occasionally, a new release from Geopointe may impact my custom build. Geopointe support is responsive and flexible with effective resolutions to restore functionality and reduce impact to business functions.

**What problems is Geopointe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

US nationwide field logistics involving 500-600 field personnel and 40k+ annual client site orders. The mapping system allows us to access travel routing and associated logistics.

**What do you like best about Geopointe?**

The core mapping features work, but there is little differentiation and limited value beyond basic functionality.

**What do you dislike about Geopointe?**

The auto-renewal and cancellation process. Renewal emails were filtered to spam, and when we missed the notice window by less than two days, there was zero flexibility. The lack of reasonable customer accommodation and rigid enforcement of fine print overshadowed the product itself.

**What problems is Geopointe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Geopointe addresses basic territory mapping and location visualization within Salesforce. While this can be useful for understanding account geography, the benefit is limited and can be achieved with other tools in the market. Any operational value it provided was ultimately outweighed by the challenges and risk introduced by the renewal and billing practices.

**What do you like best about Geopointe?**

There are so many things to love about Geopointe, from the ability to run radius reports that are far above what I've used in other legacy systems to the exceptional customer support and competitive pricing model.

**What do you dislike about Geopointe?**

Geopointe can be a bit of a storage hog, depending on how you set it up, but it's well worth it.

**What problems is Geopointe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When we first migrated to Salesforce, the first gap I needed to fill was the ability to run radius reports for our event marketing. Geopointe addressed that need and more. We also recently implemented (with the help of their knowledgeable staff) a very complex automation using Geopointe functionality where our member constituents (pastors and churches) were automatically assigned to the closest regional office. None of this would have been possible without Geopointe.

Nice way to map Salesforce data. Can create reports.

**What do you dislike about Geopointe?**

Platform is buggy and freezes a lot. Does not appear to be made well for enterprise companies. Currently cannot even get a map to load without it crashing. Hard to get the reports to map the data you want, UI is not the easiest to understand.

It click the wrong button it load thousands of data points and freeze.

**What problems is Geopointe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping our company with outside sales territory management. Currently having issues using it so it is not benefiting me.

**What do you like best about Geopointe?**

Geopointe is a great mapping tool that is constantly updating to meet the needs of the customer. However, what makes it a great tool is the people...senior leadership, the account management team, the customer success team, the product engineering team have just been wonderful partners in the onboarding and training process. Furthermore, they listen to their customers needs and work to improve user experience. I've worked closely with my Customer Success Manager who has been willing to walk me through new features and enhancements, brainstorm new use cases, work through setups and configurations, just to name a few. My Account Executive has been attentive to our specific needs and offering the right tools and options to support our business. In addition, they have heard my feedback on enhancement and connected me with the right people in the organization, so I know my needs and concerns are not falling on deaf ears. It shows a great commitment to "getting it right".

**What do you dislike about Geopointe?**

There's very little not to like. However, Geopointe is not a standalone app, which many of our users have indicated they would like. By integrating solely into Salesforce, we're dependent on Salesforce's functionality.  There is also room for improvement in reporting, especially between differing objects where the data is related but not necessarily linked. As an operations manager, I have to join several reports together in order to get all the information I need. One detailed report would allow me to do different types of analysis.

**Recommendations to others considering Geopointe:**

Communicate your needs to your Account Executive and Customer Success team. They are very responsive, helpful and proactive at sharing needs and concerns within the organization.

**What problems is Geopointe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Geopointe for territory alignment and analysis, we have also used it for activity management and mileage reimbursement and analysis. We've been able to combine several process into one by using the tool and we've seen great improvements in user adoption, activity input and time-efficiency. 

Geopointe right now solves a great need we had track visits to customers and prospects for our field sales team using Routes.  Building the Routes allowed us to also build custom flows that enable Check Ins to be also create and update activities while created a time and location markers. 

In addition, it's been easy to use in building territories, identifying sales and account boundaries, and create data sets for account analysis.

Visual plotting of your data on a map is terrific; this has allowed our fundraising team to hone in on which cities bring the most money and which cities have the highest volume of donors.

**What do you dislike about Geopointe?**

Filtering and creating a data set can seem complicated at first, but it is very similar to SF reports. I'd like to see improvements in having scenario templates.

**Recommendations to others considering Geopointe:**

Make sure to have your companies KPIs ready to plot. Also, recommend setting up with a Geopoint rep because you want to make sure you are configuring the correct pieces, and they are helpful.

**What problems is Geopointe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One huge benefit is the ability to visualize our constituents. Also we are making great use to district codes for our public affairs team to target congressional districts.

**What do you like best about Geopointe?**

I like the fact that you can efficiently map out a route of your territory and utilize your time in the best way possible. I also like the fact that we can use the check-in and check out a location not only to ensure that our reps are at a facility and working but if something were to happen we would have an idea of where they are located. I also like the response time of the customer support team anytime I have had any questions or problems they waste no time in responding back to me and they also always follow up on the issue to make sure it was resolved. It is a great tool and asset to our company for time management.

**What do you dislike about Geopointe?**

I dislike I cant directly like my mapped out the route to my google calendar but it easily fixed by just copying and pasting them on to there. I dislike sometimes the map doesn't like to load up with all the facilities.

If you are considering getting geopointe I would like about the time you would save planning out routes.

**What problems is Geopointe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Eliminating passing up facilities when I'm in an area because I can see everything I will be near on my trip. We are also eliminating reps claiming to be at facilities for hours and not actually being at the facility because with the check-in feature and the ability to pull up exactly where they checked in from we can ensure they actually rent out the location and with the checkout, we can make sure they actually checked out at the facility they are claiming to me at,

Issues with users putting in wrong information (city not matching to postal zipcode) Better driving capabilities for send reps to visit with resources and being able to locate places to provide additional services within a reasonable drive time of a patients residence

**What do you like best about Geopointe?**

Geopointe integrates well with Google Maps. User records in our CRM are mapped on this "familiar" mapping software and we can overlay using filters and reports. It's easy to use once everything is set up and can be "trained" to others with ease as well. The cost for non-profits is very fair and isn't a barrier to entry.

**What do you dislike about Geopointe?**

The UX can be a bit more intuitive; I recommend having an IT person help set it up and "talk" correctly with your CRM. Billing can be a bit slow and complicated as well. It can sometimes be a bit difficult/impossible for Geopointe to "go back" and make edits into the CRM in Salesforce; it's great displaying data but sometimes the "feed" doesn't seem to go both ways.

**Recommendations to others considering Geopointe:**

For looking for a non-profit, Geopointe is very cost effective and relatively easy to set up. I recommend it for people looking for an easy mapping solution.

**What problems is Geopointe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Geopointe to map out our donors and visualize where, in the United States, they are. We use this to help pull data, plan trips, and see where we should be holding events. Using this data, we're able to more effectively plan for the year and see where "in the country" we should be. Salesforce doesn't have a native mapping software built into it, and I think that this is probably the best integration that I've been able to find that is useful for simple non-profit use.

**What do you like best about Geopointe?**

I have been using Geopointe in the SalesForce application for the last 1.5 years and it has helped dramatically with my pre-call planning for setting up In-person customer meetings. Geopointe gives you the ability tap into google maps to best plan your route for upcoming travel as well as identify new prospect opportunities in the area you’ll be traveling to. Plus the fact that you’re already in the SalesForce application, you can easily create new contacts opportunity for future follow up.

**What do you dislike about Geopointe?**

The tabs to access different features can be a little cumbersome and difficult to figure out if you’ve never used it before. I don’t really fault Geopointe for this as it’s a fairly new implementation for our sales team to use.

**Recommendations to others considering Geopointe:**

If you’re a field sales organization then Geopointe is really an invaluable tool to help grow your customer base.

It’s all about the pre-call planing and identifying new prospects to call on.

**What do you like best about Geopointe?**

1. The powerful mapping ability- visualize any geo information in salesforce.
2. Seamless integration with Salesforce- out of the box functionality to geo-code addresses from salesforce fields 
3. Ease of use- very low to minimum learning curve. It is very user friendly and intuitive. 
4. Constantly rolling out new feature and enhancements. 
5. Assignment area is a great new added function that we use to create geo-areas that we would like to target and automate the process of determine which area each of the clients belong to.

**What do you dislike about Geopointe?**

Not much really. If I had to be picky, I'd say that
1. more discount for nonprofit organizations.
2. more free Assignment Area Licenses because 10 is really not enough.
3. The ability to customize the imported KML locations. For example, I have uploaded Chicago community area maps, which shows different colors for each area. However, in order to get the name of the specific area, I had to click on the shape itself. It would be better if the name is showing in the area of the map.

**Recommendations to others considering Geopointe:**

1. Test before you buy. It is very easy to set up and test. 
2. Work with a salesperson to understand pricing structure and features. Talk to other organizations like yours to learn from their experiences.

**What problems is Geopointe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Visualization of where our clients located by program, by project, by whatever your use case is. If you can filter clients out by a salesforce report, you can plot them on a geopointe map. It provides insight for executive management to understand where we need to concentrate our efforts on. 
2. Determine the trend of clients' location which provides guidance on future service planning. The ability to lay different maps over each other is really helpful to compare the difference and see certain trend.

**What do you like best about Geopointe?**

We use Geopointe to identify potential clients within close range of our networking events or current clients in order to reach out with personalized messaging that matters to them locally. It does a fantastic job of allowing us to filter results in the same way that Salesforce filters work in reports. We also appreciate the custom shapes feature that overlays county lines, school district zones, etc. to help us pinpoint our target area without a lot of hassle. Setting up accounts is simple (we often add or remove licenses as people come and go on the team) and their support people are truly fantastic. They keep me informed of updates to the software, offer webinars about how those features work, and our Account Exec.and Tech Support Person are some of the best I've worked with for responsiveness!

**What do you dislike about Geopointe?**

I wish there was a way to export a Geopointe list into Reports or Salesloft directly. Since we use SalesLoft most of the time, we have to go through a handful of extra steps to convert our account list from Geopointe into a contacts report that's formatted correctly to work with SalesLoft. 

**What problems is Geopointe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are segmenting our markets quickly to help reach potential clients with the right type of targeted messaging to gain their attention. We also use Geopointe to visualize the locations and data of current clients and plan drop-in visits. One of the biggest benefits of this software is that it is intuitive and easy to use for our team, which cuts down on training time and increases the effectiveness of its tools.

My favorite moment was a few years ago when one of the top performing sales rep called it the best sales tool he had seen in his 20 years of selling.

**What do you dislike about Geopointe?**

Once you create a few essential filters and territory shapes for users to get them started they will really see the value in how the map can zone their territory.  However, without this initial setup it really doesn't get any traction with users.

**Recommendations to others considering Geopointe:**

Geopointe features and functionality has always released improvements over the years that just keep making the map more useful and user friendly. And the customer support has always been outstanding,

**What problems is Geopointe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. When traveling sales members are on the road, they can quickly use their app to find other key contacts that are nearby.
2. Internal sales teams are looking up the traveling sales team schedule and finding who's nearby to fill-up their schedule with quality contacts, and creating reasonable routes.
3. Where to plan events by finding out how many key contacts are within driving distance.
4. Territory assignments of contact and account records, which has replaced complicated workflow & process builder rules for several clients.

**What do you like best about Geopointe?**

It is software designed for operations and marketing, useful for companies of all sizes, from small businesses to large organizations. In our company it has worked both to manage history and to schedule meetings; It should be noted that it is also suitable for efficient route planning and timetables. Likewise, we can say that it has worked for us to identify patterns or trends that we did not know, since it has an advanced capacity for filtering and visualization; which allows us to improve our business processes based on the practical knowledge that this software provides us, such as routing, analyzing and searching, in a more adequate and simple way, in such a way that both managers and administrators take advantage of the geographical aspects of our system and give us the ability to improve the efficiency of our processes.

**What do you dislike about Geopointe?**

It is a software that is not totally independent, because its functionality is generated from Salesforce, so we must integrate with it to be able to enjoy its benefits; in addition to that there are functions that are difficult to use when you do not have extensive knowledge of this software, however we have not presented problems with the platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Geopointe:**

It is a software with an interface designed for companies that wish to enhance their marketing system, being able to connect with key customers through data samples on a map that make the capture process very dynamic thanks to route optimization, avoiding a repeat offense at a certain destination. For its part, thanks to the function of generating a list of clients we have been able to connect with more consumers, and in this way at the time of field work our sales representatives can capture current and potential clients in the area where they are.

**What problems is Geopointe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our company this software has been of great benefit, because we have decongested the field obstruction by planning routes. Likewise, we have potentially guided our path due to the visualization of patterns or trends that show us other realities of the market in real time. It is an interface that is very easy to understand and use, without the need for advanced knowledge, just having basic and practical knowledge. On the other hand, we managed to capture the attention of our clients thanks to their data analysis and even their location, we can manage our events so that they are more efficient and direct them to key contacts.

By using this tool I am easily processing my data as it supports the CVS files and it is very easy for me to import such files because of the Geopointe Maps .These files also helps me to generate and launch my campaigns which definitely boost my sales. Through the maps I can target those areas which are not so rich in market and then I device my plans accordingly to generate the lead.

I dislike nothing everything is going wonderfully. I would like to encourage its team which is providing satisfying services. Before I have used many other tools but I had to face troubles every single day but now I am very comfortable wit it.

It is very convenient for me to save the files no I can export the data through those files which helps me in easy launching of the campaign and very conveniently I can creating leads from the map. My only real dislikes are related to our current Salesforce setup and not specific to Geopointe. We have unnecessary customization that makes using default functionality difficult. 

There are a lot of features available so it can be a little overwhelming for some users at first, especially for those not comfortable with technology in general.

We use Geopointe to manage all of our sales territories.  It works great!  I just wish that I could have it also populate more fields than the limit of two.

Try the free trial!  The team is excellent and will listen to your use case and give you your options.  I have recommended it to others in my Salesforce Saturday group.  You can also buy the number of licenses you need and focus on those that really need to map data.

I don't have many complaints about Geopointe.  Every one in a while (maybe one per year), I run into limitations but they are usually limitations to the CRM platform and not Geopoint specifically.

We use Geopointe to ensure quality standards without onsite reps and track potential client sites in order to optimize the brand presence and better serve our franchisees. It does a fantastic job of allowing us to filter results, create layers of location features, extending the abilities of our Salesforce success journey. We also appreciate the custom shapes that overlay that help identify geographical boundaries and denote zones. As a result, we are able to perform richer analytics, facilitate data entry, and easily communicate our target area.  The set up was very simple and their support people are always very helpful and a pleasure to work with. Geopoint does a great job keeping us informed of updates and there are constantly new things to be excited about in the newsletters. The response from our user group speaks for itself. The exec team is thrilled with the visibility and the reps/regionals spend less time on reporting into the home office.

It would be great if Geopointe could record some data locally to upload when an internet connection becomes available later. I think this may be a feature currently in development and we hope to see it soon. Batch processing can sometimes take a long time to do through the backend.

Ability to show and hide accounts on map, and categorize them.  
Draw directly on the map and save it as a layer for future use. 
Ability to import .kml to Salesforce from other GIS platform.
Ability to look through addresses and find the nearest route.

**What do you dislike about Geopointe?**

Not nearly as powerful as other GIS platform (open source or not).
I cannot perform many geoprocesses such as extract, overlay, and proximity.
It's difficult to work on a big project in geopointe as it doesnt allow you to save and come back at it later.

You wont regret it

Trying to see where my accounts (buidlings) are. We have a network, lines or polygon, and I can easily see where my accounts are.

**What do you like best about Geopointe?**

Geopointe is easy to use, I use it to map sales territories and assign accounts and account ownership based on the territories.  I love the Assignment Plans that you can have run automatically to update the territories and owner so the accounts.  Our territories change on a regular basis and without the assignment plans I would have to manually maintain the owners and territories accounts are assigned to

**What do you dislike about Geopointe?**

Although I love the Assignment Areas, I don't like that they are an additional purchase and you need to pay for each one individually, you need an assignment area  for each territory and can get quite pricey if you have a lot of them.  Also, each Assignment area can only update ONE field on the account, for example the Sales Territory Field, if you need additional fields to be updated automatically you must purchase additional assignment areas not only for each field but for each territory, now we are really talking expensive.  These should be included with the price of the software, or at the very least, an assignment area should be able to update multiple fields on an account, for example, the territory, inside sales team member and any other territory specific account ownership etc...

**Recommendations to others considering Geopointe:**

Geopointe is easy to implement and use, highly recommend it, the only drawback is the assignment areas that allow you to automatically update a field on a record are not included with the software and each can only update one field on the record.  Most companies have multiple fields that need to be maintained based on the territory an account is in, you will need to purchase an assignment area for each territory as well as each field to be updated, that can get quite expensive

We create and manage all of our sales territories with Geopointe, it makes it easy to visually see each territory and can do updates to fields directly from Geopointe, that is a huge time saver.

Geopointe is very user friendly and delivers the information we need for our business.

We have not found anything we do not dislike at the moment.

The business problems we are solving is the ability to see the big picture in our data.  We are able now to see gaps and trends based on our current CRM data on the map using geographic boundaries.

I love how I get reminders straight to my email with relevant topics to keep me updated and on task.  It takes the thinking out of it so I can get in and get it done.

Some of the topics are redundant so I wish there was a way to skip through material that is repeated often.

**What do you like best about Geopointe?**

We use the Geo-Checkin function more than anything, but because of that it also allows us the ability to track mileage, expenses, meeting notes and so much more. It really puts into perspective what our sales team are or are NOT doing!

**What do you dislike about Geopointe?**

Loading the Google Map with a lot of data can be slow at times, more so on mobile devices so having cached data would be nice and may already be an option we are not yet familiar with.

**Recommendations to others considering Geopointe:**

If you're not familiar with the product consider hiring a consultant unless you are technically savvy. It is not difficult to use but does take some learning.

**What problems is Geopointe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales Team Accountability, Saving $$ in Mileage Reimbursement, Tracking what customers are and are not being seen as well as the frequency.
