# How can we know if the load id has reached the consignee or destination?

some tracking still keep tracking even after delivery is made. who is updating the GPS? can we have room to improve the service from vendors GPS signals?

Really good questions- thanks for posting them!

GPS is generally very accurate down to a few meters or so. The frequency of updates can be a part of the agreement between the GPS/ELD owner (carrier) and the GPS/ELD provider. Typically GPS updates locations every 15 minutes. If there is an update frequency concern I recommend talking with the carrier and/or ELD/GPS provider.

Also, because our system uses geofences for deliveries, if you have loads that are delivered and still tracking I recommend reaching out to support@fourkites.com or call (888) 466-6958 ext 2.
