# Are driver hours of service recorded or taken into consideration while tracking trucks?

at times, ETA is incorrect because driver is stopped or on break, and depending on drivers hours of service the ETA might be pushed out another 4-5 hours depending, on break length.

Thank you for your question, it's certainly a good one. 

Yes, drivers' hours of service are factored into ETAs. We use a combination of real-time data and machine learning to predict a driver's remaining hours of service, in addition to any other relevant information a carrier may provide, including if the truck has a team assigned to it or is being relayed.
