What do you like best about FileHold Document Management Software?

Filehold provides secure and centralized document management system for all the documents based on business needs with user-based premissions and audit logging. Furthermore, it is easy to use with language localization options and also integrates well with Microsoft office applications. Moreoever, it supports for workflows and approval process sytem with electronic forms and notifications via email. What do you dislike about FileHold Document Management Software?

Filehold document management system does not have suitable mobile application which limits the accessibility and convenience of the software. With that in terms of security roles and permissions it is complex and can be confusing which could cause data risk to the company. In addition to that it does not have user friendly workflow designer which makes it harder to create and customize workflows based on business needs and requirements. FileHold makes it easy to scan, store, and index documents. This solution also allows us to collect and organize information, access, process documents and control all our business processes. Really, I don't see any downsides in FileHold document management software. It is true that we may have customers who will think that some features of FileHold do not work properly, but this is due to the fact that these features have not been enabled or properly configured. So I think that a good configuration of the software with the help of customers according to their real needs will help solve all these doubts about the software. FileHold helps me to have full control over all my documents, it helps me not to waste time looking for a document. The previewer load time is a little slow if this program has a downside. Document origination must be saved locally before saving it to FileHold. In the scheme of things, a minor irritation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is FileHold Document Management Software solving and how is that benefiting you?

Filehold allows users to capture the essential metadata pieces they want for each document type stored. The system administrator and users (security permitting) can create personal views when listing different documents. Invoices display their pertinent information when listed, whereas legal documents can list case ID, matter ID, description, etc. One size fits all does not apply in this program! Document full-text indexing is included, not as an add-on. It has a free version of Smartsoft Capture, allowing users to scan a document using a user-defined template to capture needed metadata to automate document import. It is fully functional. A professional version is available for larger volumes of documents and multiple-page templates (this is an add-on). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about FileHold Document Management Software?

I have been a dedicated user and implementer of FileHold software for a considerable number of years. It has remarkable value as a document management solution.

From the onset, FileHold's ability to transform how users handle documents was apparent. The centralized repository eliminated the chaos of scattered files, allowing for seamless organization and quick retrieval. This shift alone boosted our productivity and drastically reduced time spent searching for crucial information that was often lost to manilla folders on a network share.

Version control, a feature that we've come to rely on, ensures that our controlled documents are always up to date and accurate. Users no longer suffer confusion due to outdated files circulating within the network or even physically that are often orphaned from their originals. This heightened level of accuracy has had a tangible impact on our processes.

The automated workflows are an essential tool. The intricate choreography of approvals, reviews, and distribution used to be a labyrinthine process. With FileHold, this complexity was streamlined, transforming what used to be a time-consuming physical task into a breeze. This has saved us time and reduced errors and mistakes with document approval to near zero.

Security is paramount, especially considering the sensitive nature of our documents which often need to adhere to DOD or ITAR restrictions. FileHold's robust access controls and permissions have instilled confidence that only authorized personnel can access critical information. What do you dislike about FileHold Document Management Software?

I can't say there are many, if any at all, downsides to using the software. It does exactly what it was designed to do and does it well for a great price point. There are some features I would like to se implemented in future releases, however.

Better API support through Web Services

Integrated Email automation tools for retrieving and processing from a mailbox or Office 365 account.

We have always had internal filling and documents retrieval problems along with many clients out there, with FileHold we have been able to remove paper almost completely from the day to day business and our contracts and renewals are easily searched and found as neeeded.
