I really like the integrations with our MDMs, as other competitors are missing key integrations or are not as advanced as AssetSonar. The reporting is very good and better than other tools I've used. I find AssetSonar easy to use, with lots of ways to look up information and it's easy to input data. It helps deconflict scheduled assets, tells me where it's going, when an item is in maintenance, and tracks usage data. Pulling reports is uncomfortable because you have to pull all of the items ever used in AssetSonar and then add them to an Excel sheet and filter. I find AssetSonar extremely valuable for keeping track of all our machines and ensuring none go missing. I particularly like the warranty information feature, which helps us stay on top of replacements so that nobody misses out. I feel like it's been rather good, I've not run into areas that don't work as well. If I had to improve anything, I would say the mobile area could do with a little more refinement and possibly a dedicated area for SIM cards themselves or phone numbers, as now people have devices without a SIM card too but a phone number. It's a bit overwhelming at first. Automatically discovering assets is a good feature, but once they are discovered, it takes a long time to get things sorted out. I'm mainly referring to Chromebooks. Sometimes understanding and teaching how to input data can be very- trial and error. There are also lots of different areas to find the same information. It could be a little confusing with all of the options. There is a up side and a downside to that, I feel like you can't get lost if you end up in the same place,you can also customize your dashboard to meet your needs, but to get there you have to click lots of buttons.
