"Fantastic Database!"

What do you like best about ExceedFurther?

ExceedFurther is so user friendly and has a lot versatility to fit our needs. In particular, I utilize the Gifts & Pledges, Reports and Events modules the most. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ExceedFurther?

The only thing is that once I am on it for a period of time, the site begins to slow down. All I have to do is close and reopen it, but it's such a hassle to do that multiple time a day sometimes. This appears to be an ongoing issue. Update: I don't seem to have this issue as much since upgrading to ExceedFurther from ExceedBeyond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering ExceedFurther:

I would recommend starting with either a single person entering data or determine agreed upon format for entering data that everyone will follow. For me, the biggest thing is consistency and for each entry to be in the same format. Otherwise, your search results may not return the data you are wanting. What problems is ExceedFurther solving and how is that benefiting you?

It has been extremely easy to update entities, locate information and print reports. End of year tax receipts are a breeze to print and mail! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ExceedFurther?

We use Exceed as our CRM for managing; events, donors, guests, grants, volunteers and campaigns. It can handle all of these items. It allows the creation of tags so to designate donor/guest/volunteer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ExceedFurther?

It is not intuitive. It is visually displeasing--monochromatic view. Searches must be character-specific--does not search if the description is close. Reporting features are confusing and not intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ExceedFurther?

Exceed Further allows you to get as detailed as you'd like in your records. You are able to track donations, phone calls, activities, stewardship, and more in each user's record. This allows for a seamless experience that has all the information you would need at the tip of your fingers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ExceedFurther?

Exceed Further doesn't have the best integration systems. This is quite tough at times. For example, purchases made through other softwares at events, galas, etc. do not integrate into Exceed Further well. This is really tough to work through at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great donor database with strong technical support"

What do you like best about ExceedFurther?

Exceed Beyond enables me to access our donor database from any location via weblink, giving me the ability to find client addresses and profile information, and to run reports and quick lists from any work location. Customized reports and lists make it possible to gather donor history and trends quickly and easily, whether for importing into Excel for data manipulation or for printing directly to pdf or hard copy. The ease of sorting report output data makes it simple to get quick answers and trend analysis online. Exceed Beyond has helped our non-profit increase awareness about our donors' patterns and giving history, which has strengthened important relationships with our supporter community. What do you dislike about ExceedFurther?

I was initially frustrated with the inability to do direct importing of data, but the Arreva support team made this process available to me, which has been great. I wish there were more user-defined fields to be able to run customized queries with more data inputs. Exceed Beyond helps us show trends and results of programs and special incentive opportunities. The easy reporting enables management to present data to quantify development objectives and goals with our Board of Directors. The improved "high touch" capability with our donor community has helped us realize greater participation in events and a higher level of consistent donor giving to our organization. What do you like best about ExceedFurther?

Theoretically, the integration between all interfaces - website, database, giving platforms. The donor database has worked well, although the transition from Premiere to Beyond was not as seamless as I would have hoped. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ExceedFurther?

We signed up specifically for the integrations, but putting those into practice has been clunky and in some instances - not at all useful. We are still working out kinks more than a year later. Additionally, the back end is pretty tedious and unintuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ExceedFurther solving and how is that benefiting you?

The integration between the website and the database has not been what we imagined. Because of how our credit and fund codes were set up on import (from a previous version of exceed premiere) we have been unable to take advantage of the integration. We are still downloading reports and manually entering in transactions into the database. We are hoping o have this resolved but it's been over a year. Our favorite aspect has been the online giving, and personal fundraisers - those have been relatively seamless and easy for our donors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ExceedFurther?

The service and the fact that I can access Beyond it from anywhere.There recent short on line classes help reinforce features that you don't use often and may forget the how tos and other great ways of using the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ExceedFurther?

It isn't school friendly. It was designed for non-profits but not schools that are non-profits. Our clients (mostly alumni) need their own file. We also need to individualize reports to draw from fields that are important to us. After 20 years we are exploring other options because of that fact. Exceed was easier to find people that you might not know the exact spelling of the clients name. This is a real barrier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

the product is better for non-profits that are not using it/trying to use it for high school alumni needs as it doesn't export all areas of the program or allow us to individualize for our various needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I am able to a lot of information about our alumni it help to make phone calls more personal but that info can't be drawn on when do multiple files at a time.
