**What do you like best about Emma?**

I love how easy it is to create a template and customize them. For example, adding images, text, and link buttons is super seamless and easy compared to other email managers I have used. On another note, the platform's insights section is GREAT for reporting metrics.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

Sometimes, when I do not make an edit for about 5-10 minutes, the tab will not save my work and will log me out. This is the only issue I have gotten frustrated with Emma over because some of my work will be lost, and I have to restart. Other than that, I love Emma and would recommend it to anyone.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have reached out to an Emma support employee about having issues with some of our internal employees being opted out of our newsletters without their consent. This is a huge issue because we cannot manually reopt an email back in. However, the support team has been super helpful with providing some solutions for this.

  ### 2. Streamlined Partner Messaging with Subaccounts, Templates and Consistent Branding

**What do you like best about Emma?**

As the Director of Marketing & Communications, Emma is so helpful as a solution for multiple partners across campus to have their own subaccount, their own templates and their own contact audiences. Partners are able to craft their messaging accordingly and, when done, submit their emails for approval from our office. This streamlines sending so audiences aren't getting multiple emails on the same day and it keeps our branding consistent.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

We keep running into issues with our contact limit. Many of our contacts in the system are inactive or hard bounce, but that number still counts against our total number of contacts, which creates problems with my CFO when it's time to upgrade.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Branding consistency, University voice consistency, and creating a helpful user experience for our audiences. Emma has also helped our IT team immensely because of its robust security. Emails aren't being flagged as spam and they are being delivered to more users than competitor programs.

**What do you like best about Emma?**

I use Emma for both internal and external email marketing. I love that Emma allows for all college emails to be in branded templates, making sure that all college employees stay on brand through templates tailored to the different departments. The template creation and sub-accounts feature stands out because it enables multiple users to create and upload a lot of content without mixing it up. This leads to easier usage and ensures a less cluttered user interface.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

I find it challenging to restrict access to different sections of the platform without limiting the user's ability to properly do their job. I don't want users to have access to create their own template or be able to upload HTML code and create an email that way. However, I want users to be able to save their final drafted email as a template for future use.  I also wish that Emma had a better opt-out system. I wish that I could share a link, and anybody could put their email into the system and see what communications that they are currently subscribed too.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Emma ensures all college emails are in branded templates. The template creation and sub-accounts feature helps multiple users create content without mixing it and keeps the user interface uncluttered.

**What do you like best about Emma?**

I really like the drag and drop builder and the building tools in Emma—they are by far the best thing for our team. Before Emma, we were stuck using Dreamweaver and coding in HTML, which was a pain and made it hard to create good-looking, consistent emails. With Emma, we can customize easily and make adjustments without needing to code. It's faster to build our emails now, with no risk of messing up HTML code or struggling to add components we want. Not having to rely on outside designers for simple changes is great as well. Also, I found it really easy to set up Emma with a quick transition and a smooth learning curve, thanks to the support from the Emma team. For a nonprofit with a small budget for marketing, Emma has been a really good solution.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

We have a couple of different subaccounts under our main account, and we have run into some issues with how we manage data between those. I think our use case is a bit unique from how the subaccounts were originally designed to work. So that is partially on us, but we are making it work for us ultimately.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Emma's drag and drop builder makes building emails much easier, allowing us to increase newsletter frequency and improve design quality. It lets us manage audiences effectively, connecting them to our CRM.

**What do you like best about Emma?**

Emma enables us to design email campaigns that consistently reflect our organization's brand, while also making it simple to switch between different templates tailored to various audiences. The insight dashboards provide valuable analytics, and the builder itself is both intuitive and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

I think it would be very useful to have the option to copy and paste content blocks between emails, even when they use different templates but share some of the same material without having to move up a tier. Additionally, having a way to connect our CRM (Simpleview) with Emma would make things much easier.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Emma enables us to set up different audience groups, monitor performance across multiple campaigns, schedule mailings in advance, and build automations that help reduce the amount of manual work required. Thanks to the integration with Gravity Forms on our website, we can also capture email opt-ins that feed directly into our Emma groups.

**What do you like best about Emma?**

I love how easy it is to formulate my emails. I simply use the templates that I have created and from there, it's go time.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

If you're inactive for about 10 minutes or so, it logs you out. I hate this function. It also just randomly loses connectivity at times and I have lost my work that I have done without constantly saving. This is a huge flaw that irks me the most.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been in contact with an Emma representative to resolve an issue with contacts being unsubscribed without the contact's permission or ours. This is a huge problem because we cannot manually re-subscribe an email after it unsubscribes itself from the list. The Emma support team has been wonderful with answering questions about that and providing some ways to mitigate the issue.

As a graphic designer, I use Emma to build custom email templates for our university's marketing partners. The drag-and-drop editor makes this accessible to me without having to know HTML. Admin features like the brand manager and template locking allow me to deliver polished, functional campaign starting-points that stay on brand without restricting campus partners' flexibility.

There are always improvements to be made, but Emma regularly updates their product and takes client feedback into consideration. No complaints.

Emma has a user-friendly interface—no HTML expertise needed—and supports multi-account management.

Pricing is my main concern. Additionally, some users report occasional deliverability issues and challenges with inbox placement for bulk emails.

It made my complex email marketing more defined and structured. Also, Emma drag and drop feature make it easy to design my email campaigns.

Email creation is straightforward and simple.  Our current Account Mnager is great, but we have had others in the past and they were not helpful at all.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

the reporting is very basic and cannot be scheduled in bulk.  there is also no way to bulk delete old uploaded assets

we send a lot of email newsletters and dedicated emails.  This allows us to manage both in an organized way

**What do you like best about Emma?**

Emma is a simple platform that allows to send bulk email and do email campaigns and they have good range of emails pre build template that very useful to send a email. No doubt it's very simple to use and very easy to send multiple email campaign and email workflows without any problem

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

I dislike most is there unsubscribe button not working some time if recipient unsubscribe from the list still some time they recieve a email then manually I have to add them in block list.

The service is very bad. We reported a significant error in their reporting system. 9 months later, they haven't fixed it because it isn't a "priority." We pay thousands of dollars for this system and we can't use their reporting reliably. The fact that they didn't do anything to make the situation right makes it so much worse; they clearly don't prioritize keeping clients happy and maintaining good relationships.

Its a very user friendly to use, the navigations to this software are very simple and self explanatory. There is a very short learning curve and a very clean UI to use. Hey have a great customer support as whenever you get stuck the support team is very active to resolve the issue. They also helped me to implement the software, and integrating different api is also very easy to do.

Emma provided a perfect email marketing solution that scaled to our needs without requiring the steep learning curve of a Marketing Cloud (not a knock on Marketing Cloud).  The ability to have numerous teams (each with their own accounts and pseudo-instances) under an enterprise-wide umbrella was a key selling point (they currently refer to it as "Emma HQ"). Emma (I believe) uses an iterative development cycle, so they're regularly making improvements to the platform. Support could not be better, more responsive, or more helpful.

**What do you dislike about Emma?**

They've recently been implementing a new, updated editing interface (which is great!) - with it, there is no longer a code view within widgets (for tweaks not possible via the WYSIWYG). We've had some issues implementing dynamic content.  These are mostly minor issues and probably equivalent to what you might find with any platform.

**What problems is Emma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of use has been key in allowing us to bring numerous teams and users onto the platform making it nearly self-service for them. The ability to compare campaign response data between different campaigns has been useful in helping us define future strategy.
