Once set up, it works pretty seamlessly across all my devices while also providing access through a public access point. **What do you dislike about Egnyte?** Really, my only complaint is the strict password update procedures and requirements. Its like eating salad. You know its good for you, but not always enjoyable. Also, after updating password, it is not always seamless accessing and updating password across devices....although that process seems to be getting better. **What problems is Egnyte solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a less than 50 member firm, but our employees are scattered through all four time zones. I also like the fact that I can create custom instances; the storage space it provides allows you to import data from different devices (phones, laptops, computers, etc.), which is handy because it prevents your system from slowing down and gives you access to your data whenever you need it. Its uptime and performance are second to none, and it integrates with other applications in an incredible way. **What do you dislike about Egnyte?** My only gripe with Egnyte is that I occasionally have trouble navigating to the main section of the admin dashboard, which is necessary for some tasks. The stability and ability to use it anywhere, and on nearly any device is what we like the most about Egnyte. We use it every day. Customer support has been very good, when needed. **What do you dislike about Egnyte?** I would like to see a more streamlined document/data sharing platform akin to a ShareFile type design. The software mounts the drive, making it very easy for users to quickly access their data, including sharing options and working offline. I'm also very happy with the built-in security features and the additional Secure and Governance tools. **What do you dislike about Egnyte?** My major issue with Egnyte is their split support for Macs. They have the original Egnyte Desktop and a new Egnyte Core app - to deal with some security issues within macOS, however, they keep updating each, and in my experience, you can't have both in the same network. **What problems is Egnyte solving and how is that benefiting you?** Egnyte has allowed a lot of my clients to break free of the traditional vpn/fileshare and allow everyone to work from wherever. Quick access to files on all devices (including iPhones) has supercharged the organizations I'm helping really have quick access to their data and workflows. ### 42.
