"Draftsight helps you save time and organizing your drawing set"

What do you like best about DraftSight?

I enjoy the detail drawings management with the ability to edit the scale and annotation. Also, it gives you an option to tag the detail to your floor plan with a reference to the detail drawing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

short keys are not as intuitive as I'd like so sometimes it takes a little longer to figure out those shortcut commands since I am not as familiar with DraftSight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good cad but not entirely stable for mac users"

What do you like best about DraftSight?

I like it's functions mirror / copy those of autocad. Basically zero learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DraftSight?

As a paid mac user the platform suffers from crashes and lack of updates to the latest OS.

My current gripe is that Custom page sizes for plotting cannot be made basically rendering the software very annyoing without big workarounds.

Customer support is lacking as I've made several attempts to get this resolved with no luck. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A versatile tool for any task"

What do you like best about DraftSight?

1. It features the option to change user interface to classic, with toolbars. That is one of the reasons why I switched from AutoCAD.

2. Price.

3. Supports all *.DWG files, no compatibility issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DraftSight?

1. Standard Ctrl+S combination is not available for a progress saving!

2. Interface settings (like toolbars) reset and it need to be customized manually after each product update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good transfer to Drafsight"
