What do you like best about DraftSight?

Price is very reasonable for what you get, it is relativily easy to use, and is easy to export and import diffrent formats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DraftSight?

It is sometimes hard to find information on the diffrent symbols and tables, also if you want to remove diffrent popups it is hard to do. example color selection to remove and change the standard color in your drop down menu. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DraftSight?

"Simple Software but so Effective!"

What do you like best about DraftSight?

DraftSight makes drafting so easy and simple. I use this everyday to design simple parts which are saved in DWG format that can easily be transferred over to sub-contractors. This saves so much time for both me and the sub-contractors for rapid turnaround. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DraftSight?

"A best alternate to Autocad"

What do you like best about DraftSight?

DraftSight is a one of the best cad tool available in the market with a polished interface compare to Autocad.This is a Dassault Systemes product so the technolgy used in this tool is state of the art technology.DraftSight is very compatible with SOLIDWORKS and Dassault Systemes Platform callled 3DEXPERIENCE.DraftSight Uses the same commands as of Autocad but the draftsight has more customization capablilty according to the need of designer.The application file size is around 500 MBs so it can be easily downloaded and installed in any machine.DraftSight come with flexible licensing like network lincense. What do you dislike about DraftSight?

I would say that the problem with DraftSight is that the market awareness is not wide spread.

What do you like best about DraftSight?

It is easy to learn and use, and its numerous features give us a ton of options. Being easy to learn made it easier to accept. Can open any DWG format, and the tool box feature is a definite plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Capable 2D CAD software at a bargain price"

What do you like best about DraftSight?

Commands are very similar to AutoCAD making it easy to pick up if you haven't used it before. The price makes it so much more accessible than AutoCAD especially for occasional use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
